Local library looking absolutely abysmal in terms of their philosophy section
#dismaying.. i'm sure a lot of them are public domain at this point so project gutenburg would be a good place to check#i just struggle with ebooks :// never finished house of the dead because of it even though i loved the book#struggling to GET to the library.. forgot exactly how early they close on the weekend + there is an event. and the music from it is blastin#gonna just head to the bookstore after this and get in some reading#got a book at one of the library book sales about the guy that founded the roland digital instrument company#and the biggest things in that book are the things that aren't about the company at all#he's talking about how he grew up during ww2 and how he lost a home to bombing and how he got an experimental tb treatment afterwards#just absolutely wild statements without a whole lot of elaboration#the book also has qr codes at the beginnings of every chapter bc he wanted to make a hybrid book with digital components#shai speaks
