Head in the Clouds II
Barcelona Femení x Teen!Reader
Summary: You remain dazed and confused
You went crashing to the ground, skidding across the wet pitch.
"You feeling okay, champ?"
You groan, clutching at your ribs as you roll onto your back. "Can you tell Bright to please leave me alone? You're friends, right?"
Lucy laughs. "Funny, kid. Real funny. You feeling good, though? Okay to continue?"
You huff and let Lucy pull you up, wiping the rain from your face.
Chelsea had upped their game since that red card, truly, and as one of the younger ones on the pitch, you were baring the brunt of it. It seemed that they had forgotten you were once their academy player just like you did.
Though, to be fair, yours was more of you had genuinely forgotten while this seemed more like revenge on their part.
"Atta-girl," Lucy says, clapping you on the back.
"Hey," Ingrid approaches as well," That looked nasty. How are your ribs?"
"Sore," You answer," But I think I can keep going."
"There's that winning mentality!" Lucy says," Sticking it out until the end."
Ingrid gives Lucy a pointed look. "You know, I think I preferred it when you were more protective over her. She's hurt her ribs, Lucy!"
"I'll be fine."
"See! She'll be fine!"
Ingrid rolls her eyes but moves to take the free kick you've just won.
You go streaking up the pitch after it.
Carter and Charles both run up either side of you just as you release the ball from your foot, sending it towards Hampton.
One of them jostles you off balance and you trip, going careening forward.
It must have been a pretty forceful shove because you gain a lot of air, very quickly.
Quick enough to meet up with the ball you've already released.
You smash the top of your head against it just as you land on the ground.
"Ow..." You say to no one as your ribs flair in pain again as your body meets the pitch.
Over the ringing of your ears, you can't hear the roar of the crowd as your head propels the ball just an inch too far for Hampton to get her glove around.
It slots itself in the net but you're still faceplanted in the dirt to have even noticed.
Someone grabs you, Patri, you find, and shakes you almost too violently.
She's saying something but all you can do is mindlessly stare in confusion at her.
"I taught her that!" Lucy's proud voice cuts through the ringing in your ears. "Did you know? I taught her that."
"Sure, Luce," Comes Keira's dry reply.
"What? I did! Even the landing!"
"I..." You say, rubbing a sore spot on your head. "What happened?"
Patri laughs, jostling you again. "You just scored, idiot!"
"Did I?"
"Yes!" Comes the chorus of voice arounds you and you glance around to see the rest of the team.
"Oh...When did you guys get here?"
"How are your ribs?" It's Paredes now and you frown, pressing on them.
You wince. "I'll live."
Keira sighs. "God, Luce, couldn't you teach her anything else? We don't need another Lucy Bronze running around."
Lucy grins. "I think we do. She's my protégé."
"I don't think Alexia would be happy hearing you say that."
Lucy suddenly turns pale, eyes wide. "Oh, shit. Don't tell her I said that."
They go back and forth while you still stare up at confusion in the screen displaying the 3-0 score to Barcelona.
"Seriously," Paredes says," Your ribs. Are they okay?"
"I can still play on them."
"So they're not okay." She gestures to Jona to sub you off.
"But..."
"We need you for the final," She says to you," Besides, the match is nearly over. They're not catching up to us now."
Bruna comes on in your place and you sit, dazed and confused on the bench.
Jana giggles at your face, poking your cheeks as you try to mull over your goal.
"Are you sure it counts?" You ask.
"Are you saying they should disallow it?"
"No!" You say quickly," But...I don't know."
"Tell you what," Jana giggles," If this football thing doesn't work out for you then professional clown might."
You frown. "Huh?"
She mimics the face you pulled when you found out the ball went in.
Your eyes go wide.
"Oh no."
She grins. "Oh yes. It's been, what, five minutes? I've already seen ten separate Twitter accounts with it as the profile picture."

Delinquents are Cute
a/n: was experimenting with a few ideas about reader’s family life and wrote this as a result. Mostly a spinoff of my Baji x Tutor!Reader series…
tw: Baji beats grown men up, attempted forced entry— nothing major
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈
“Kei! What is this?” His mom yelled from the living room. This was a familiar scene that played out often. Except instead of a lecture, his mother squealed with joy. “These are the best marks I’ve seen from you yet!” She said, tearing up.
Ironic, he thought again. He promised not to make his mom cry again, and now that he was actually doing well, here she goes crying again. Though, the teenager was proud of the achievement. Not only had he passed every subject, he actually reached 80 percent in Two subjects.
“I’m so proud of you Kei!” She laughed, grappling him into a bear hug. “Knock it off!” He complained. She grinned her canines and ruffled her son’s loose locks. “So when are you gonna let me meet that tutor they assigned you?”
The younger Baji grumbled. He tried really hard to keep your existence a secret from his mom, but it was hard when you sent him home with a bag of whatever fruit was in season since he started walking you home in a routine. That, and there was no way he could achieve this academic spike alone.
He continued to ignore and accept how his mom often let it slide. Apparently not today.
“Oh by the way Kei,” His mom grinned. “As congrats for your grades, I thought I’d make your favorite tonight!”
Food was definitely the way to whip him into a good mood, yet when he met his mom’s eyes, he sensed mischief. “Buuut, you have to invite that wonderful tutor over to join! I’ll even get a cake!”
...
So that's how he found himself hovering his thumb over the call button on the phone, his mother’s intense gaze and solid smile never breaking. With a defeated sign, Keisuke accepted to make the call.
“L/n F/n, how can I help you?” You speak into the phone, casually. “Uhh hey it’ss Baji.” He murmured, awkwardness setting in quickly. “Baji? Hey, crazy you called! I was wondering how your midterms went!” You asked enthusiastically, the pleasant chime reaching his mother’s ears.
Ryoko inhaled a sharp gasp, mouthing, “A girl?!”
Ah shit.
Before Baji even had the chance to react, the phone was snatched out of his loose grip. “Baji Ryoko speaking!~ Thank you so very much for your help! Kei scored higher than ever before! I can’t tell you just how grateful I am!”
‘You're being annoying,’ the youngest Baji growled lowly. “O-oh! Good evening Ms Baji! Please, it was a blast teaching Ke– I-I mean Baji!”
He heard the first syllable of his name, sending a jolt through his body. ‘Oh this was going to be fun,’ the devilish women smirked.
“Oh please! He’s a handful, but you really helped us so much! Please, join us for dinner tonight, if it’s not too late!”
Baji opted to plopping himself on the couch with a groan, losing control of the situation completely, not having the fight to oppose his hard headed mother.
“Dinner...?” You’d whispered, as though looking far away for a moment. “Um... Are you sure? I don’t have anything on hand, but I’m sure I can whip up–” Ryoko cut the humble talk, “No need, I have it all under control! I’ll send Kei to pick you up now!” She announced with a sharp smile. Never failed to scare the shit out of him.
Fine, what the hell, he sighed.
“What are you doing?” Ryoko questioned when Baji went to pull his hair back, though it was freshly washed and extra voluminous. “Huh? Putting my hair up?” He rolled his eyes, dredging to his room, only to exit with his school glasses and– was that deodorant, or.. Cologne? When the hell did he own that?
“Obviously, I mean what’s with the getup so late at night, you dork? You don’t hang out with Chifuyu in that costume.” She huffed, taking the glasses from him.
Kei wanted to jab how it wasn’t her business, but for some reason he didn’t feel like picking a fight. He shrugged, not sure why it was harder to meet his mom’s eyes.
“We don’t hang out, that's why. She’s a classmate. It’s less intimidating, I dunno. Guess I like not being treated like a delinquent all the time.”
He slurred his words near the end, answering more honestly than he’d have liked.
“W-whatever! I’m off!” He huffed, snatching the glasses back before pushing them to the bridge of his nose. “Wait, Kei!” His mom yelled after.
It was tempting to ignore her, but just in case, he listened. Wouldn’t look, but he was listening. Ryoko smiled that he’d allow her even that much. “You’re a good person Kei, I raised you after all, right? You're not hiding anything anyhow, if she’s stuck with you this long, I can’t imagine you can scare her off that easily.”
. . .
Keisuke considered his mom’s advice while walking down the road he’d usually journey with Chifuyu down to school. Lately he's feigned scene after scene to keep you and Chifuyu from interacting.
Why? Honestly, Kei was asking himself that now.
Why?
Why keep you from meeting his friends?
Why did he continue to walk you home, even when it earned him a damn earful from Draken almost nightly?
Why keep you from seeing his face? So what, if you too spat in his face and started putting distance between you two?
Why did he feel irritated whenever you looked him as close in the eye as you could, smiling or asking something of him?
…
Chifuyu was actually extremely observant. Baji may have thought he was slick, feigning excuses to not go in one specific direction, even if there was no need for them to turn that way. It was Chifuyu’s sharp curiosity that did him in.
One time when this had happened, he noticed you. You were wearing a somewhat sad look, as though you’d just been ignored. But Chifuyu definitely would have known if you had tried getting either of their attention.
Baji had changed their direction before you even had the chance to greet them. It didn't take much more digging and stalking to understand the situation.
Chifuyu and Baji both enjoyed manga, but their genre interests often differed. Yet, Chifuyu forced Baji into reading one full shojo series, a whopping three volume tale.
—-Sweet goody-two shoes love-interest, unknowingly but willingly getting involved with a wolf in a nerdy disguise protag.
The plot was perfect for the hard-headed Captain.
From the male’s point of view, of course. Chifuyu was confident it would help his dear senior come to his senses. So of course, that is why Chifuyu felt the sudden need to rush Baji into reading this one very specific manga genre.
…
If Baji were honest, the story was touching. He found himself cringing a lot at the beginning, but as the dialogue became heavier, he found himself relating to the protagonist, struggling to come to terms with his feelings for the leading love interest.
He couldn’t help thinking about how you would react so cute if he also—
Oh.
Oh.
Baji thought he’d faint right then and there. He did Not just come to this realization.
Especially not when he just made it to your house.
...
…
However....
The air was heavy. There were some quiet noises moving around, giving off a very unsettling feeling. Where were the sounds....
Baji froze.
Your front door was wide fucking open.
“I-I just told you, my dad’s not here right now, p-pleas—” You voiced out forcefully. “Don’t care, you’re the message anyway, princess.”
“What–” You had replied, quickly being cut off with a sharp shriek, reaction due to one of the three men shadowing your doorstep suddenly gripping his fist in your hair. You were being pulled into the house, your house, the other two hurry to follow the third offender in, carefully covering your screams somehow.
Baji Keisuke was indeed fast.
Fast enough to sprint a thirty foot distance in four seconds time.
Fast enough to dramatically pull the half shut door by its outside door handle.
Fast enough to catch the guy closest to the door by his disgusting oily neck.
Fast enough to use the sack of shit’s head like a fucking hammer against the man who had his hands on you.
Full Face.
Full Throttle.
The three adult men had absolutely no chance against Baji Keisuke, not when he was this far gone to rage. It was clear how the scene would have played out, had he not crossed by this night.
The thought of it alone was fucking nauseating.
…
Dropped to the hard surface of your own home, you felt yourself backing away from the collision of men. Heart racing, you couldn’t hide the shake of your nerves getting the best of you. The stinging in your scalp was still sore, and already felt as though your wrist may have sprained by the force of the push and fall.
You were scared.
But not downright terrified.
Shameful to say, you knew the disgusting men who forced their way into your home. Associates of your father.
He wasn’t exactly an honest working man.
But everybody needs a little help, especially when you have a drinking problem and a public reputation of a happy family to maintain.
. . . Luckily he had a child who he could let his stress out on by berating the stress of maintaining both the facade and habit on...
...You.
You were only thankful whatever he kept himself busy with left you home alone majority of the time. Usually.
It was only a matter of time before loan sharks would finally come to collect...
All of this was unbeknownst to Baji, of course. How could he know? You always avoided the subject of your family and parents, and since he wasn’t really interested in the details anyway, the secret was secure.
Until now, maybe.
All the while, Baji’s mind went wild, thoughts of guilt plaguing his rage further and further until he was sure these guys deserved to die for what the hell they had in mind.
You’d never done anything wrong. The only reason someone would target you, is to get back at someone else.
And being a widely disliked figure, Baji could only assume he was to blame.
—---
Baji Keisuke had finally shown what he really was. A stone cold delinquent, who failed a grade because of being an accomplice of attempted theft, and first degree murder. He knew what he was when he kept inching closer to you.
But goddamnit. He really thought he could hide it, longer than four months, at least. His glasses lay smashed against the front porch, hair tie getting ripped out by one of the scum, who all lay appropriately below his shoes.
It was silent. Baji couldn’t find the confidence to turn your direction. You’d seen him at his most terrifying. There wasn’t a soul alive who didn’t fear his blood hunts.
Yet, he took how you didn’t immediately run away in fear as a good sign, right?
“Baji?” Your voice called out softly.
“…Yeah,” He replied just as softly, still unable to turn your direction.
Slowly, he noticed your figure close in on him. Is this what a scared animal feels like when they feel cornered? The intense instinctual urge to run from what looms over it? Ironic, being that he was half a foot taller than you.
But he didn’t run. His feet glued to the pavement, he needed to accept what happened next. Even if that meant he’d have to go back to self study.
Taken out of his negative thoughts, your hands caged his bloody right hand tightly. Baji felt his breath catch in his throat, jerking instinctually. He glanced your way.
You didn’t seem interested in his feral locks, or searching his face.
Instead, you held his hand tenderly, an unreadable look looming over your features.
He really didn’t want to be the one to speak up first, but it really would be a good idea to get rid of these low life’s still darkening your doorstep.
Noticing his unease, you pull him gently. He followed, but only because the alternative would be his own way of rejecting you.
And he just... Couldn’t.
How could he push you away, when even now, presented in blood and fang, you still touched him as gently as you would when pointing out an academic hiccup.
Damn shojo manga, he’d have been better off oblivious.
Yet even when you washed, disinfected, and wrapped his knuckles, you didn’t look up at him.
Were you scared of looking at him? He couldn’t blame you, but he had to admit it did hurt a little bit.
What would have happened to you, had he not come around that corner? Had he not invited you over for dinner in the first place? Fuck, he was probably the reason why you were targeted. Baji Keisuke was a delinquent with a big reputation and rivals who sought to destroy it.
He’s the one who’d put you in danger, he had convinced himself of that as fact.
You fluttered your gaze back to Baji, a little laugh leaving your throat. “I was right, you do look more mature without glasses.”
Were you Seriousy teasing him now, while in the middle of this Serious Crisis. Honestly, Baji had no idea how to properly respond. His normal ‘what would mom do’ trick couldn’t work this time. The silence was eating at both of you, but he just couldn’t muster a response.
... ~~~~~~~!!
Finally deciding you’d had enough, you finally willed your head up, eyes slowly trailing up before landing on his face for the second time.
When Baji came running in your defense, the fire behind his eyes gave you a warmth you’d never felt before. To be protected?
The first time you looked upon his face, framed by his thick locks, the only way you could describe how you felt when met with his feral expression...
Only after you two locked eyes had either of you notice the sneaking glance of the other.
Your reaction was to take in his mildly nervous form, and how he feigned a look of indifference.
Baji’s reaction was to hold his breath and listen as his heart pulses in his ears. Did you make him nervous?
“Baji.. Back there...” You spoke first, earning another sharp intake breath in reply.
His nerves couldn’t deal with this.
“Y-you.... You looked...” You mumbled, turning to avoid his hopeful eyes. “R-really cool.... You looked really cool, back there...”
Baji Keisuke had to be going deaf. Hard of hearing, Auditorically Dyslexic? There was no other way to explain what he just heard come from you.
From you.
Cool?
You? Thought he looked cool? When beating up random strangers?
Most would describe his behavior as brash, monstrous, merciless, unapproachable.
Yet here you sat, face red and looking identical to a shoujo protagonist red in the face after a confessio—
Oh god, he was short circuiting.

"Hi, guys!" Echo called, waving as she practically skipped into the hanger. It was her first day back on Coruscant since joining the Wraiths and the Exo was thrilled to see Tycho and Hobbie! Wedge and Wes had had their time with her as one of their Wraiths, and now she was eager to see the rest of her unofficially adopted brothers!
Her ghost, a small, palm-sized drone with a toothed, rhombus-shaped shell zipped along with her. Despite her prickly personality, Whisper was also pleased to see the other two Rogues in good health. "Tycho, Hobbie!" Whisper chimed, zipping over to them. "Good to see you! Let me get a good look at ya!"
As was customary after every mission she was around, Whisper gave Tycho a full body scan, bathing him in cerulean light as she orbited around him. "Huh! Y'know, I think you're doing better than the last time I saw you, Tych," the ghost said approvingly. "Rogue Lead is looking good on you!"
Giving him a brisk, approving nod, Whisper swiveled in the air and looked over at Hobbie. "You're turn Hobbs. Let's make sure those prosthetics are fitting as well as they should!" With that, the ghost began orbiting the second pilot, bathing him with the light of her scanner as well. -- Echo-17 & Whisper -- @mantleoflight
As usual, Coruscant swarmed with so many beings that moving along any of the pedestrian platforms was a feat all its own. The two pilots had made their escape as quickly as they could after having ventured away from the Palace district. Wes had returned to the planet with some of his 'baby pilots' in tow and had quickly drug Hobbie off to help with an "errand" for Wedge.
Tycho hadn't asked when Hobbie eventually reappeared some hours later, no Wes to be seen. Both looked up when their names were called, smiles quickly in place for both Echo and Whisper. The Alderannian shook his head indulgently for the ghost, "Whisper, you know that most beings consider it quite rude to greet them with invasive scans."
Next to him, Hobbie was already bristling as Whisper turned her eye his way. At least, the parasite controlling the pilot was - and it was only partially an act. It knew that Hobbie was known for desiring his personal space, disliking anything that seemed to intrude on his autonomy, anything that might make him seem like an object. That dislike was only half an act as for the parasite, a sudden real concern about detection reared its head.
Internally, the pilot himself was suddenly making quite a racket. Itself a rarity these days. As the parasite deftly moved away from the scanner with a deep scowl in place and chastising, "Take that somewhere else, Whisper! My prosthetics are fine", Hobbie himself was trying desperately to keep them in place long enough for the scans to penetrate.
[Whisper!] The pilot kept repeating the names of all three of the beings, [Echo! Tycho!] Like screeching them in the confines of his mind would make the words actually be heard, [Whisper its here, right here!] Such an outpouring of emotion, the parasite laughed - outloud even. The sound was meant for his host, enjoying as it tortured itself and the parasite didn't have to do anything to help the torment along.
"Oh sure." It complained back in Hobbie's deadpan voice, "Tycho goes and takes my job and somehow he gets better health scores for it. It don't think those grey hairs of his agree with your assessment, Whisper."

this is it. this is my call. all fiction pickford x maguire under the cut.
"you did well. unfortunate that was is all." jordan says as he's packing his bag, or throwing everything in, whether dirty or clean really. harry stands in the door frame, arms crossed. he cried just minutes before, coming to jordan's room for some comforting words from his longtime friend. but jordan's been having it - told him that before. "this will keep happen when you let ten hag treat you like dogshit. don't fuck it up with southgate, too." harry's owngoal tonight was the only time scotland could score, but since it was "only" a friendly many fans of both countries took it rather lightly. some, of course, didn't, seeing it as yet another opportunity to drag his name through the dirt once more.
"unfortunate? well easy for you to say. you didn't even play tonight!" harry exclaimed, not receiving the comfort he'd originally come here for. "no need to, rambo had nothing to do anyway. the gaffer only plays him when it doesn't matter." jordan said zipping his bag and clearing some empty cans off the bedside table. it's around 5am, they should be asleep but jordan likes to be ready on time. plus the missus had him clean after himself these past few years, he used to not care much about leaving his hotel rooms looking absolutely disastrous.
"bloody hated that one. can't do nothing right can i." harry tried everything to get jordan's attention at this point, even going as far as pitying himself in front of england's number one. jordan sighted, taking off his shirt to get changed. "will you stop with the fucking self pity already? you're not the only one having a shit season mate. seen where everton are right now. that's right. pull yourself together man." jordan unzipped his bag once more, looking for a new shirt to change into as he noticed the one he just wore had a yogurt stain on it. "yes but when your club is in shambles they don't only blame you, they blame me when i don't even play!" jordan rolled his eyes. "unfortunate, isn't it? you haven't read the comments about me then, have ya." harry became more and more frustrated, angry almost, he had no idea what's gotten into jordan today, usually he'd be more comforting and understanding, but today he's cold and seems to be lost in his own thoughts.
"you're so full of shit, jordan. that's not what i came here for, you know. more criticism. you could be a little more ... i don't know." jordan had now finally found a shirt and pulled it over his head. "don't-" he looked over to harry "don't what?" harry let his eyes wander over jordan's naked torso "leave it off. let me that at least." jordan laughed, a little sarcastically. "when you can't have comforting words from me, this is what you go for, huh?" harry nodded "kind of. can't get anything else out of you today, can i." jordan pulled his shirt back over his head and threw it onto his still messy and unmade bed. "i miss you sometimes, ya know. been a while." harry said as jordan sat down onto the bed, his hands falling into his lap. "alright. get it off then." jordan said "then come here." harry wasn't sure if jordan was being serious now - he'd teased him about their past more often then he'd like. how he used to not get enough of jordan, always all over him he was.
"you taking the piss? really?" jordan nodded. "like you said, it's been a while, hasn't it." jordan motioned him to come over. "you got tanned over the summer i see." and indeed harry had gotten a little tan, his arms more than the rest of his body though. "so did you, always burn first before you tan" harry said now standing above jordan, hands in his soft hair. jordan shook his head "don't take the piss now" harry's hand cupped his face gently "i like it when it's not gelled down, like you wore it during the euros. liked that." jordan pushed harry's hand out of his face "getting in me face, bothers me ... alright. get on your knees then." harry immediately did as he was told, obedient as ever. he was now sat between jordan's legs, awaiting commands like a dog. "can't even be a leader here, can ya. need me to tell you what to do, eh?" harry nodded, his hands on either side of jordan's thighs, small blonde hairs erecting under harry's careful touch. "pull them off then" harry slipped his fingers into the waistband of jordan's trousers and pulled them down to his knees, his cock already half hard. "make me hard. use your hand. the right one." harry wanted nothing more than to get his mouth on jordan - his lips or his cock, he didn't care. he missed his taste. the taste of the lip balm he used a couple years back, wondered if he still used the same. harry lifted his hand and reached for jordan's cock, when he was suddenly stopped meeting with jordan's hand on his wrist. "you're all shaky ... need assistance?" harry nodded, feeling his own cock get hard by his words only. jordan smiled, directing his hand towards his cock. he spit into harry's hand and made him form a fist "that's right." jordan now jerked himself off using harry's hand, holding onto his wrist tightly. "missed your big hands ... so big." jordan wanted to close his eyes and enjoy harry's soft hands around his cock, but the sight of harry, a little nervous, but so eager, just added to his arousal. one hand holding harry's wrist in place, the other gently ruffling his hair, he felt in full control of the man in front of him, so vulnerable.
not much longer until jordan came, a loud, relieving groan escaping his lips. he finally let go of harry's wrist, him just carelessly wiping off jordan's cum on his shirt. "thanks for that mate." harry smiled "do you think kieran heard you? you were pretty noisy." jordan chuckled "probably thought i had wank, he doesn't really care. always in my room he is anyway. prick." the two shared a few awkward glances and a full minute of silence before harry got back up. "so. international break's over then. guess i won't be seeing yous in a while." he sounded upset almost, but he's doing that almost every time after they spent a little while together. pathetic he is.
"just another month, harry. just another month. if you behave until then you'll be rewarded, i'll be watching you closely." harry's eyes lit up. "i will." jordan laughs "that means no owngoals, though. we clear?" harry nodded. "don't mention that again." when harry had already lost hope that he'd get to feel jordan under his lips today, he finally pulled him in for a quick kiss, but what was meant to be a quick peck on the lips, turned out to be a long, quite sensual event. hands on each others waists, necks, asses. one that was hard to pull away from, but both knew that they'd eventually have to quit. awkwardness stuck in the air again as soon as their lips parted. "still using that same lip balm..." harry said looking into jordan's eyes, his pupils dilated in pleasure "shut up prick."

okay love maybe isn't stored in pricey, exponsive things, and she and adrien have gotten into arguments about it, but she can't deny the... allure. the salivation. the absolute zing that goes through her head after taking such a lovely tour of the louvre (special access because her boyfriend is special is so great!) and they're just meandering around, passing the gardens, going around again, and they end up in front of a louboutin store when the three of them are trying to decide what else to do on their lazy sunday.
just a gentle look over has her eyes dilating like an animal when she spots this on the dazzling, beautiful gold-and-acryllic stand.
scalloped, gradient, tall? she likes all of these things. it matches her horns. and it's tall, too. god, she likes it tall.
her face is almost blank as she admires it for a split second, willing to every ounce and mL of magic in her body to stop herself from pinging that she wants it.
god, she wants it.
there's no price tag anywhere on the acryllic stand— why would there be? that would be ridiculous— but she can't imagine it's anywhere near a sane number. luka asks if she's hungry and marinette smiles and nods and does her very very very very best to snap her eyes away and pay attention.
does she want italian? he asks. french, even?
there's a place, a hole in the wall a few blocks away that adrien heard some amazing things from, somewhere rich but casual, because marinette always feels a little silly whenever she walks into these rich people places wearing sandals and maxi skirts and old band teeshirts instead of actually wearing socially acceptable clothes to these things. she has pearls, god knows she does, but they always walk in to pearl-allowed places like they just got out of a roadtrip. no one dares refuse the prince of hell, but she does not like the attention that comes with wearing wrong clothes.
"whatever you both want," she tells them with a smile. looks like her magic somehow managed to hide it, after all. score! and yet... she's almost a little disappointed. "maybe let luka pick, though. he's been craving sushi for a while."
"you okay?" luka asks.
"i'm fine, why?"
"you're looking a little..." adrien searches for a word. "off."
she raises a brow. "'off'?"
"a little off."
"what's off?"
"you don't look sad, but you look a little sad."
"nothing's wrong," she laughs. "maybe i'm just hungry and tired."
luka looks concerned. "hungry? or hungry?"
"hungry. come on, angel, pick a place for us to go! don't stall!"
luka's busy typing in the address for the place they want to go, mumbling to himself how his thumbs are too big and he keeps hitting the wrong keys. she almost thinks she's gotten away with it— even if she wanted it, just how much is it? it's not like she'd have a place to wear something like this, anyway. a club probably isn't the place for such an expensive heel. and it's not like she works a desk job... and this definitely wouldn't be useful at the nursery. but adrien is perceptive. adrien is perceptive in the way she stares through the window out of the corner of her eyes, even though there's nothing on her face.
"huh," adrien simply says, as marinette fiddles with this little keychain tassle she made to put on her totebag. "that shoe looks pretty, huh?"
"y-yeah."
"the color reminds me of your horns," adrien continues. "it's a good height, too. anything taller and you'd be teetering forward."
"mmmhmm."
his gaze slides over to hers. green eyes blazing in the afternoon light. "how come you're hiding that you want this shoe, princess?"
"wh—"
"your wishes sound very clinical, which means you're doing your succubus magic to mask. what's going on, beautiful?"
great...
"have you bothered to look at the store brand?" with a point and a tap of her heel, she crosses her arms. "breathing in there costs two hundred euros. this shoe doesn't even have that little tag telling you how much it is! it's probably in the thousands—"
"it's a good thing we can afford it."
she squeaks. "adrien, no, we can't just—"
"—you're an empress," he tells her, pulling open the door. a giant hand finds a home on her lower back, just like usual, guiding her inside.
"not anymore!" she whispers.
"yes, you are. i'm getting you everything you should've had back then. come on, angel, put your phone down; i need to buy something real quick."

Attention
Since requests are open again, can i request a yan!bokuto developing a crush with one of the other teams' managers during their training camp? 👀
for: @lady-tokugawa-of-mikawa. hi bestie 😔 this is late (again), but i hope u like it 😍
Content warnings: rape/noncon; nsfw; underage drinking; (slight) sub!Bokuto👀; mild footplay
Three minutes.
Three minutes and forty-five seconds, to be exact, before the truth came for you like a ball careening towards your blindside:
You’re not supposed to be here .
Granted, the thought had already slinked its way into your brain ever since you’d overheard the coach crying on his phone, his wife on the other side of the line, that if he hadn't groveled and appealed to his college friend’s sense of honor, as he’d sniffled, they wouldn’t have even considered the team ( your team) to be worthy of receiving an invitation to this training camp.
Ignoring the worries that came after that was supposed to be easy. It shouldn’t have come at all . It’s irrational and it doesn’t help anyone. What was the point in fretting? Your boys are more than deserving— more than capable in fact —of going toe to toe with some of Tokyo’s best.
It’s also a given that those people don’t know anything about your team. You do live in a town half a day’s ride away from the capital. And how could you expect city folk to recognize a team that hails from a place where the cows outnumber the people three to one?
They’re bound to not know.
But the needless unease stayed and soon took a life of its own, the weight of it becoming heavier and heavier over the course of the weeks that you waited for that dreaded day, like a hungry beast that you diligently fed with your little what-if’s.
What if that place eats us alive?
What if they make fun of us?
What if, despite trying our hardest, all we do is lose?
What if these people take a single look at us and think that we’re not good enough?
What if they’re right?
The deep chasm on the scoreboard tells you exactly that, plain and without a hint of artifice.
Shinzen High has already scored five points.
Your team is still stuck at zero.
And the clock continues to tick.
“Chance ball!”
Your captain's voice was feeble against the noise of the ball being passed from one hand to another.
Odd, that.
Itsuki's not the type to pull his punches. Especially in the middle of a game; always one to use his entire chest when launching back at his enemies with a guttural roar.
You looked at the players standing on your side of the court— really looked at them, in a way that you should have instead of wasting your time entertaining those doubts— and found nary a trace of your teammates among those too-stiff, too-quiet boys that bore an uncanny resemblance to a bunch of rabbits caught in the headlights.
A chuckle erupted from your chest, surprising even you.
"Something funny?" the coach asked, his glance turning wary when you convulsed in a fit of shrill giggles.
"Yeah," you told him, shaking your head. “There is, Coach.”
From the bored expressions on your opponents’ faces to Shigeru’s (failed) attempt to set for Koyama, all the way to an audience that wasn’t even looking, who were, frankly, much more interested in what's on their phones than what’s in front of them.
How can you not find this funny?
You were worried about... this ?
You sighed, your head the clearest that it’s ever been in a long while, and stood from your seat on the bench.
The coach called out your name in a harsh whisper. You ignored him, not even bothering to explain yourself. After all, you’ve already spent too much of your energy on the wrong things.
And so, in the most polite way that you could, you shouted:
“Hey! What the fuck is this!”
Everyone might've gawked; the coach may have pulled you back to the bench with a strength that you didn’t know he possessed. There’s something much more important than being respectable, though.
“None of us ever cared about what these assholes think!” you pressed on, staring down at Takami, whose dad never fails to remind him that he’ll waste away his life fooling around with that useless club . “So, why,” you ask with a clear voice, “Why are we starting now?!”
Of course, just like any of your spur of the moment ideas, that hadn’t ended the way you hoped it would.
They still lost (they also did in the following game). All of the coaches (including yours and excluding the one from Nekoma High; that one just patted your back) had expressed their disapproval over what you did. You couldn’t regret it, however, no matter how humiliating their rebukes made you feel.
Because you don’t think you’ve seen any of your teammates look the least bit happy since you set foot into this place. But, now— even with the fact that all they've achieved so far is keep the floors clean with their diving laps— now, they do.
With that, it seems to you then that this place isn’t so bad, after all.
A day.
A day and ten hours, approximately, had already passed when Bokuto felt your presence acutely like the stinging red imprint a hurtled ball leaves on his skin. And just like the circumstances that lead to that bloodied, angry marking, you made your existence known with just as much force as a player spiking for the kill.
Some of them guffawed, out of disbelief and sheer delight both, because in all the years that they’ve trained together in preparation for the interhigh, they don’t think anyone has ever called them a bunch of “assholes” before.
They didn’t think much about that new team that arrived too late. So, yeah, Bokuto wanted to laugh, too, just like others. ‘ What a way to make an impression, huh?’ he wanted to say.
That wasn’t what he said, though.
Bokuto wasn’t even able to say anything.
He was too busy staring at your mouth, the resoluteness in your lips as if you knew exactly what to say; the way you looked at your teammates, like there was nobody else more astounding, more unbeatable at this game than the boys before you (though, surely, even you can see that they’re far from being any of those things).
And yet, there you were, your eyes incandescent; they might as well have been on fire, blazing with so much awe and unshakable faith and it was so clear for everyone to witness and— and Bokuto did not know what to do with it.
It was so embarrassing, truth be told. Bokuto may not be the most secretive guy around, but when the others eventually pointed out that he looked scared at the thought of facing them ( you ), he just couldn’t help but sulk.
“We’re not half the cheerleader she is, Bokuto-san,” Yukie teased him, patting his shoulder as she did, “but rest easy, we’ll try our best to boost morale.”
He just groaned, immediately locking his legs at a stand still when the others hooted, ‘Look at him! He looks like he’s about to piss himself bouncing his legs like that . ’ Really, what was he supposed to say?
Because, when he finally faced your team with that net in between and as he felt the ball against his palms when he aimed for a clean hit towards the floor, it’s not even fear that rushes through him.
Not even close.
Beyond the defeated faces, of the exhaustion slathered all over your team’s barks after each point he snatched under their noses, Bokuto saw you looking at him.
Just a flicker; a passing peek before that determined gaze settled back on the others. But it was there all the same: the pause in your breath as the ball detonated against your teammate’s frail arms, clutching the edge of the bench with your fingers as if it took everything in you to keep yourself from running towards the court.
To rush towards him.
To— to what ? Exactly? To scream at his face the same way you did earlier? That he's going too rough and hurting your precious friends?
There’s a part of him that wishes to stop. A strange, alien feeling that he supposes comes from the discomfort at the sight of you so troubled and wound up.
Oh, but you're just starting to understand!
That if there's someone who's truly astounding, unbeatable, and staggeringly brilliant at this game, it's him . And Bokuto wanted to drive that point home like he's never wanted anything else in his entire life.
His body stopped feeling like his own by the second set.
His legs were too light to be his, like there were coil springs underneath his feet that carried him higher and higher he swore he could brush the roof with his fingertips.
There’s a thrumming in his flesh that propelled Bokuto to move faster, to push that ache over the edge until there’s nothing left but the breathless exhilaration of seeing his opponents kiss the ground.
The air is getting thinner, like he’s scaling towards a mountain top as he sprints towards the other side of the court, long strides eating up the floor, uncaring for the sweat pouring down his cheeks.
Bokuto was willing to let this thing go on forever and ever and ever , for as long as he feels the searing heat of your eyes on him.
Until he turned his head in your direction.
You were smiling at something a spectator said.
He couldn’t hear it, but whatever it was it had pushed you to make a teasing remark to your team.
A banter ensued.
The referee blew his whistle as a warning.
You giggled.
Why?
“The ball, Bokuto!”
Why aren’t you looking?
His hands were two weights keeping him down, made heavier by that sinking sensation in his chest.
When did you stop looking?
It was too much, too unbearable that he could cry. The indifferent way you'd removed him from your line of sight was a sucker punch that's not as painful as the shame it leaves him with.
Were you even looking at all?
And he wonders with a shuddering exhale as he finally gathered the strength to raise an arm, Bokuto wonders what would happen if, just this once, he shot the ball towards y—
“Bokuto-san.”
Akaashi was calling out to him.
“Bokuto-san, we already won."
The ball within his grasp dropped.
Bokuto watched it bounce on the floor until it rolled over to somebody else's waiting palm.
He took a deep breath— in and then out, repeated it until everything came into sharp focus —and raised his head to squint at the scoreboard.
22-3
So they did.
The other side of the court was already empty, your team assembled to one corner; you were out of sight.
Everyone started to gather around him.
They took Bokuto along with their cheers and reprimands and accusations, like a strong current that carried him from the bench to the shower room, laughing as they handed him a towel, having noticed that he’d been too out of it to do anything else but stay half-naked in front of the sink.
“Are you alright, Bokuto-san?” he heard Akaashi ask over the teeming excitement surrounding them.
Blinking, Bokuto paused from wiping his bare torso as he replied, “Me?”
Their setter only nodded.
“Yeah!” Bokuto exclaimed, a tad louder than he ought to. “Yeah, dude! Of course! Never been better!”
“You were a man possessed," Masaki, still fresh from the shower, suddenly drawled from behind him.
“You were... quiet,” Ubugawa’s captain continued, reaching for the toothpaste laid next to Akaashi. “It was unlike you.”
Bokuto was about to say something, somewhere along the lines of “Really? I didn’t notice” when Daiki made his decision to wring the wet shirt in his hand, brandish it like a belt, and strike Bokuto’s back with it, the impact cutting across the room.
“You little..!” Bokuto turned with a snarl, poised and ready to throw the boy over his shoulder.
“Let it go, let it go,” Daiki chortled, grabbing Bokuto by his damp hair. “That’s for not giving us a warning, alright? Crazy bastard.”
Daiki shook his head as he walked away. “Never seen the idiot go hard like that,” he mumbled.
“That’s our ace for ‘ya!” Haruki echoed from his cubicle, to which the others responded with wolfish howls and sharp whistles, completely transforming the shower room into a tiled rainforest.
And Bokuto wanted to join along, because although the game still felt like an abrupt, fever dream, he’s well aware that he did something that he’s going to be proud of in the days to come. But somehow— for some unknown, beguiling reason, all he could do was stand there and make himself vulnerable to Kuroo’s antics.
The Nekoma captain looked at Bokuto through the mirror, clicking his tongue before lamenting about “ those poor country boys ” and their “ ill luck ”.
“Go easy on us small fries sometimes,” he added. “You were pretty scary back there.”
Kuroo gave his nape a quick pat before he went for the lockers, leaving Bokuto to stare at his reflection, features obscured by the fog.
Scary , he said.
Scary, huh.
A man possessed.
Bokuto wonders about its meaning, what coach had meant earlier when he’d jokingly called him a beast. He contemplated what about him had led them to think that way, tried his best to be perceptible of any changes.
His eyes were the same, although the pupils in the middle were large pools of tar, widened and leaving only the slightest space for the honeyed rim.
His hair was the same platinum color and still streaked with the same black lines, although untamed and in a disarray this time, with the strands sticking to his forehead.
Although flushed, his face was the same, over all.
Everything seems to be right where they’re supposed to be.
Although he’s huffing and puffing, creating more mist to cloud the mirror with. And when he tried to reach for the glass, he realized that his fingers were still trembling. His blood still surging as if his body had never left the court.
Then, it struck him.
Bokuto holds his breath in anticipation, the truth of it right in front of him.
There’s no monster here.
No man possessed either.
Only a guy who’s helplessly, foolishly in love.
Announcing to an entire room of strangers that one is of the opinion that they're assholes, as it happened, was an effective way of making new friends.
Of course, there was that awkward day-long explanation that you had to do for Yuki and Kaori and the others. An affair that wasn’t too different from a one-woman press conference that involved you expressing your regrets, revealing that, sometimes, when backed against a wall, you can be an impulsive clown with a glaring lack of filter (like: "No, no..! I didn't think you guys were actually- you know- ass- it just spilled-" and "Ah, geez, this is embarrassing. The heat was getting to me. I didn't mean it, really!" )
But the girls had been kind enough to let bygones be bygones, assuring you that all they ever felt was a joyous combination of relief and wonder. Ubugawa's manager, Eri, (who'd shook your hand while holding back tears) even told you that seeing another girl in a veritable sausage fest that is the training camp was a miracle in itself.
"It was fun, actually," Mako once said when the two of you were assigned to carrot chopping duty. "You gave us something to talk about for a while."
And even when the novelty of being a bumpkin with the mouth of a sailor soon faded, the bond that quickly bloomed between you and the other managers hadn't.
It was unexpected, although not unwelcome.
You couldn't help but laugh at yourself. How silly you'd been: coming into the city expecting a den of wolves and hunters armed to the teeth.
In the span of two days thoughts of survival were replaced by the confidence that your boys would pull through; by a sense of ease that you didn't need to win all the time and that this place is not a battlefield, but a fertile ground for growth and learning. You didn't need to constantly be on your guard— knuckles up and gearing for a fight, you realized.
Well —
For the most part, at least.
Serving spoon in one hand and potholder in another, you reluctantly paused from preparing your team’s meal to whisper under your breath. "He's doing it again," you hissed.
Kaori only gave you a preoccupied “hm?” as she plucked the ladle to fill the plain white ceramic bowls before her. “Who is?” she continued.
“Your captain,” you replied, taking care not to let him know that you're on the verge of melting under his not so subtle scrutiny.
The lovely Fukurodani manager didn’t even miss a beat; without lifting her eyes away from the food, she raised her voice, just loud enough, to address the creature (spying) standing idly by the door.
“Say, Bo-kun,” Kaori called out and you watched, amazed, as he coughed out the water that he’s been making a great show of drinking. “Your mama must not have taught you that it's bad to ogle.”
Bokuto Kotaro, Fukurodani’s ace and captain— a volleyball player that sits atop everybody else in this training camp, whose name is almost always followed by “one of the very best in the country”— quailed as his manager, the Great Kaori Suzumeda, blessed him with a smile veering on beatific.
“Oh-who-me?” he prattled, hands pointing at everything and nothing as he choked on his own words. “Didn’t see you there! What’s up! I was just passing by!”
“In the middle of practice?” Kaori snickered. “ You ?”
The boy released a laughter that resonated in the empty cafeteria.
She sighed, dropping the ladle, and told him to “Just go, Bokuto.” He obediently complied, thank the gods, but not without an overzealous goodbye to Kaori, as if he’d never see her again when lunch was just half an hour away.
He didn’t say anything to you. He didn’t need to, anyway. The lingering gaze that he directed towards you was enough.
“Thank you,” you exhaled once you made sure you’re no longer within his earshot, plopping your head against Kaori’s soft arm.
Her chuckle fluttered towards you, causing you to smile as she asked, “Is it that bad?”
You could only nod, both as an affirmation and an effort to shake those golden, hawk-eyes out of your system.
“I’ll talk to him,” she said after a few seconds of comfortable silence, the firmness in her voice making you stand upright and level with her.
Common decency tells you that you should say no, to stop her and tell her that she didn’t really have to; that you shouldn’t make a big deal out of this. But, you’d never really been one to listen to what that part of your brain dictates.
Taking her hand in yours, you gave it a light squeeze, incapable of doing anything else to convey your gratitude with a sob lodged in your throat.
“He’s not a bad guy, our Bokuto,” Kaori soothed. “And for what it’s worth, he’s never been like this with someone he likes.”
A grin lit up her face as you snorted, remembering the time someone had finally caught on to Bokuto’s newfound fixation. The uproar that it’d cause in the field when everyone was out enjoying slices of ripe watermelon. The unnecessary and, frankly, embarrassing anger that it’d pulled out of your boys after it's been revealed to the whole world. The infamous blush on Bokuto Kotaro’s face as he desperately tried to deny the accusation.
And the cold, spent feeling it left you.
“Normally, he’d be all over them,” she continued, mimicking his owl-like way of moving, bobbing her head to and fro as she circled around you.
“Kaori!” you squealed, pushing her playfully by the shoulder.
“Bokuto would be like—” Kaori pumped her fists in the air, “ Hey, hey, hey! Talk to me! Talk to me! Compliment me! Love me! ”
You simply hummed, folding your arms against your chest as you commended her spot-on performance.
She didn’t need to tell you all that, though. The guy had a personality so big it’s a miracle how this city contains him. And you’d known from the very beginning that Bokuto Kotaro doesn’t seem like the type to do the whole “pining from a distance” thing.
But, they even said that he’s half in love with you already, with the way he follows you with his eyes and flails and stutters and acts like he’s never had a mouth and a pair of hands before whenever he’s around you. And that, somehow, he plays even better than he already does when you’re in the audience ( especially when it’s against your team).
You don’t bother to correct them and say that no, this might not be a silly little crush.
Because you don’t think that anyone but you would understand that there can never be any love nor infatuation in a stare that traps you with its expectations. Even if you did tell them that, you’re the only one who knows what Bokuto’s gaze really makes you feel like: A plaything that he’s been gifted to and was told would sing and dance for him just so he’d stop crying.
And you know what temperamental children do with toys that don’t work the way they want it to, don’t you?
“Trust me.”
Kaori’s gentle voice pulled you out of your thoughts.
“He’s just an idiot,” she told you. “You’ve seen him— especially last week!” Kaori’s eyes bulged out, leaning closer to you, both of you gasping at the memory.
Tears sprung out of your eyes as you laughed harder, your stomach aching when Kaori began to recount the events that had turned the entire training camp on its head, forever planting itself in its history as the worst ordeal it’s ever faced:
A piece of the wall in the girls’ sleeping room broke off, revealing a large, Lovecraftian nest of cockroaches.
“If you’d only seen his face!” Kaori cackled, struggling to finish as she clutched onto you for support. “He burs- bursted into the room only for him to- to-”
“Pass out when a roach flew to his nose! I know !” you screeched and slapped the table with her, ignoring that you’re almost knocking over the food and chortling until you were close to having a heart attack.
“Oh- oh , I can’t breathe,” she groaned. Your laughter tapered off into heaving as you fixed her mussed bangs.
You smiled.
“See,” Kaori finally said, pinching your chin a little. “Bokuto’s a meathead. Just a meathead. Guy can’t get a clue. But he’ll come around once he realizes that he’s being weird.”
“Yeah,” you murmured, giving her a weak nod. "I'm sure he will."
You didn't know if you meant to say that with a hint of irony; if that scared farm girl is rearing her ugly head again and pointing a pitchfork at a monster of her own making.
A monster that, you're convinced, would do something more than just look once you're within its reach.
It wasn't supposed to be this way.
Bokuto even had it all figured out in his head. C’mon, he's got the looks, doesn't he? And he's not lacking in charm. In fact, he's oozing with it! That's why Bokuto had expected that he had this one in the bag. His game plan was foolproof:
Talk to the girl. Get the girl.
After that, you’d be together for the rest of your lives and your fiery, unrelenting support for that lousy team of yours would never go in vain ever again. Because it’d all be directed to him. All that “ Good job! ” and “ You were amazing back there! ” and “ Don’t be scared! I’ll be right here rooting for you! ” would finally be given to someone who actually deserves it.
All you had to do was see what he had to offer and baby— oh baby , how you'd love him. No force on Earth could have prevented Bokuto from making you his.
So it's all the more sobering now that Bokuto’s witnessed that the said force turned out to be him of all people. And what he could actually give you was a few stumbling lines and compliments that didn't even make any sense (“ Y-your face smells nice ” for example)— all (preferably) uttered a few feet away from you.
The others teased him for looking like a jilted witch casting a spell on an indifferent lover. “What are you? Speaking in tongues or something? Is the Great Horned Owl that desperate?” they poked at him. He didn’t mind them before, but now he’s not so sure.
" Tone it down, okay? " Kaori had reminded him again earlier this afternoon. That stern talking-to from their manager was an ice-cold bucket of water that doused what’s left of his optimism.
But, tone what down? What , exactly, is left to tone down?
He couldn’t even talk to you without losing his ability to string coherent words together, let alone get close to you. Eye contact, too, he’d deliberately restrained himself from doing (if only you knew how much this is hurting him!) and not just because he’d been deemed a complete and utter creep.
Bokuto couldn’t look you in the eye ever since that incident.
“ She’s helping the other girls carry their stuff to the other room, I saw them just now ,” Yamamoto had discreetly passed on as soon as he woke up from a terrible concussion. “And if you want to redeem yourself, my friend, after that humiliating performance, you’d better go out there and lend a hand. ”
Because Yamamoto, being the love expert that he proclaimed he was, told him, “ Look, I feel for you. But it’s simple. You just gotta show her what you’re made of. That you’re a man she can depend upon, ” Bokuto then persevered to follow through.
Only for him to be met by an empty room with bits of crumbled plaster scattered across the floor. And your bag in the furthest corner just...lying there.
Maybe you’d forgotten about it. Maybe you were too busy catering to your friends' needs that you'd forgotten about yourself.
Either way, Bokuto promises that it wasn’t on purpose.
Bokuto had good intentions, really! He just wanted to take the bag with him so he could give it to you, is all! It wasn’t his fault that some of your stuff was peeking through the half-opened zipper. It’d already been in that state when he saw it.
And- and it’s not his fault that he adores you too much.
Bokuto reminds himself as much as he propped his forehead against the bathroom wall, water from the shower pouring against the taut muscles on his back as he wrapped your underwear around his cock.
The baby pink fabric, every inch of it soiled now over the days that he's used it, rubbed against his balls when he began fondling them, his other hand caressing his nipples, rubbing and pinching at the peaks until they stiffened between his calloused fingers.
His cock grew hard and heavy in his hand as he started pumping into his fist, fucking your soaked panties until precum dripped from slit.
And with nobody else in the shower room, Bokuto allowed himself to grunt and curse and call out your name, digging his nails into his skin until it stung and made him want to cry.
"Make me cum, princess," he whined, shutting his eyes to watch you on your knees, fingers between your legs as you looked up at him, never taking your eyes off of him even as you took his cock down your throat.
"Please, please ," Bokuto groaned,"Please let me cum."
Here, you don't turn away nor brush him off without even saying anything. Here, you call him your baby and you chuckle as you ask him, " Good boys deserve to cum, don't they? "
He bit his lip, pressing his cheek against the freezing tile. "Mmhmm, I-I've been-" Bokuto moaned, feeling himself creep closer and closer, the pleasure at the pit of his stomach building, "I've been so fucking good for you."
The contrast of your pretty little underwear around the thick veins of his cock made his head spin. And as he squeezed his shaft tighter, Bokuto knew that he did, in fact, deserve so much more.
Because he's endured so much just for you. Now, it's time to get what he's due.
Scouring high and low for a pair of cotton panties that have seen better days wasn’t how you wished you’d celebrate the last night with your newfound friends.
Yuki had advised that you abandon the ratty, old thing (though you did say it wasn't; ratty, that is) and leave it here as a parting gift— a mark of your impact on their lives, if you will— but you’d quickly laughed her off and set out to find it. She was drunk, anyway.
Although, so were you. If not, then just a tiny, itsy, bitsy, bit tipsy.
You hiccuped, giggling as the sound echoed through the poorly-lit hallway. The world was spinning beneath you and you prayed that it wasn’t worse for poor Yuki, having chugged half of that horrid concoction.
Kaori almost threw her out of the window after that stunt. Mako scoffed at her for being an arrogant ass. The girls who weren’t drinking sat back and chose to enjoy the unfolding chaos (while also being kind enough to be on the lookout).
And you...well...right now you’re on the verge of breaking down as you make your way to the shower room.
Mostly because you’re just realizing that you might never see them again if your team doesn’t survive the Inter High. Partly because you’ve been dumb enough to not notice that you’ve been missing an underwear for a couple of days now.
God, it's so ridiculous. You're ridiculous. You're glad that you went on your own and rejected their offer to accompany you. Imagine if they saw you like this:
Oscillating between sobs and strained laughter while swaying on your feeble legs; the very picture of a lunatic out in the streets in the middle of the night.
You only hoped that you're not scaring the living daylights out of that guy who probably just went out of the boys' room to pee. Maybe you have already spooked him, with how still he's gotten.
Cupping your palms around your mouth, you saw fit to save his sanity and cried, "Heyyyy! I'm not- hic - a ghost!"
"Oh!" you gasped, raising a pointing finger to shush yourself, "Oh, yeah, sorry, shhh-"
He didn't run the other way screaming and crying, which was good, instead he approached you hurriedly, making you squint to get a better look at him.
"Koyama?" you whispered, struggling to recognize the tall boy with a sturdy build, his navy blue hoodie casting a shadow on his face. It didn't help that your eyes were doing something funny, as if they were busted camera lenses that went uncontrollably in and out of focus.
"Good evening, my dear! I daresay you're looking quite bur- burl- blurry tonight."
You cackled, immediately following your greeting with a slurred apology.
"Why- Why are you still- um- up?" he asked. And before you could volley him with a question pointing to his weirdly different voice, he brought his head down to sniff at you. "Wait- have you b- are you drunk ?"
"What! No! Of course not!" You pouted and airily slapped his cheek, drawing a lopsided grin out of you when his skin glowed pink, bright enough to light up the entire place. It was so remarkably adorable that it made you squeal and pinch both cheeks, rocking his face as you did.
"Look at our big boy!" A sheepish, almost disbelieving chuckle shook his large chest as you resumed your baby talk, your grabby hands bringing his face towards you. "Who would've thought that our stwong, wowdy ace could bwush wike so? And what's with this siwwy hoodie, huh? Where did you get this, bunnycakes? I've never seen you wear this before!"
You wondered, also, why and how his jet black hair turned pallidly gray over the few hours you hadn't seen him. You even brushed the mildly damp locks out of his forehead, unsure if they're even real as you tried to right your smudged vision.
And you wanted to blame it all on the alcohol.
It's the reason for that dramatic change in his tone and manner of speaking and hair color and...those eyes .
The very same pair that followed you everywhere, sometimes even in your sleep.
"You love me, after all," he breathed, the statement a thin sheet of glass that could blow into smithereens at just the wrong response.
That had been enough to drain the inebriation out of your body. Like being branded, you pulled away from Bokuto with a harsh curse.
"I- I have to go," you said. "Sorry, I thought you were Ko- my teammate."
But Bokuto had already laid hold of your arm with no intent of letting go.
"Stay!" Bokuto called out, repeating it with please and listen despite your outcries, shouting for Kaori and Yuki and Mako and Shigeru and Takami and Coach and Koyoma and anyone, help me, anyone.
Until he tugged you to his chest, wrapping himself around you and turning his entire body into a concrete prison as he fervently told you, "I love you. I love you so much ever since the first time I saw you and I know, I know you feel the same so if it's the distance that's keeping you from me I can come to you I'll follo-"
"Nothing's keeping me from jackshit!" you gritted out. "I don't love you! I don't even care about you!"
He didn't say anything to that.
Bokuto had gone quiet. It wasn't only until he nuzzled your neck, pressing his face snugly down the crook, that you decided to kick him with all your strength, breaking yourself free as your heart thundered out of your chest.
You didn't look back.
You dashed through the long, endless hallway with the air in your lungs dangerously running low and keeping you from screaming.
But the remnants of the alcohol were lead that weighed your feet to the ground, betraying you further by morphing your surroundings into a hazy, dizzying scape. You teetered and wobbled, desperate to reach that staircase that will lead you out of this floor, but each step that you took was not fast enough, not nimble enough, as if you’re wading through knee-deep water.
And before you know it the monster has caught up and is ready to pounce from right behind you.
“Get your hands off me!” you wailed as Bokuto heaved you by the waist and carried you over his shoulder.
The sudden upending of your world was so nauseating, you didn’t even notice that he’d already taken you to an almost pitch black classroom, its heavy curtains drawn together and the empty chairs and tables pushed to the side.
His large, sprawling hand was gripping your ass, your stomach lurching when you felt him caress it. Yet that didn’t deter you from hitting whichever part of him that your knuckles and feet could touch, ignoring the trail of your own spit that dripped on your face as you howled and thrashed and fought to keep yourself together because no one was hearing you.
What’s left for you, now? Your captor was so strong, much stronger than you, that even when he tripped on his toes, Bokuto was able to catch himself and drop you on the nearest table in just a single breath.
“Stop fighting me..!” he panted, holding you down as he knelt before you. “I’m not gonna hurt you! I- ow! Don’t-”
Bokuto’s grip on your wrists was unbudgeable. So, you didn’t miss the chance to bite him when he covered your mouth with his palm. Teeth chattering, you broke the tough flesh, sunk them sharply until the taste of salt and iron flooded your tongue.
You expected that it would push him away. Give you the leverage to escape.
That turned out to be a mistake.
His honey-gold eyes glinted as he stared deep into yours. Every hair on your body stood on end when the corners of his lips slowly lifted, eyes still fixed on you as he released a bubbly, childlike laughter.
“I've always wanted to do this to you," he sighed giddily.
The helplessness chipped at your insides bit by torturous bit when all you could do was rock the table with your flailing, while Bokuto had already crouched lower— low enough to pull the hem of your thin shorts with his teeth.
He watched you weep with a sickening display of dejection, like he's some dog that's been shoved around by his master.
"Please don't cry," Bokuto whined, peppering soft kisses all over the insides of your thighs then licking off the beads of sweat that covered the goosebumps.
You’re not giving up.
You couldn’t give up.
You pushed and gnawed and tore skin that you’re sure every inch of his palm is littered with fresh bruises, but this only seemed to encourage Bokuto, drawing out his drugged out moans as he spat on your clothed cunt, drool leaking down to your folds before he lapped at the wet spot. The moistened fabric scratched and rubbed against your clit to the point of quivering and writhing in his clutch.
“Oh, I know , baby,” Bokuto murmured, using the tip of his tongue to flick at the swollen nub. “I’ll make you feel real good soon.”
Shaking your head, the unwiped tears gathering around your eyelids dropped to his long, calloused fingers. And you wanted to screech, to tell him to go to hell as he swirled his tongue all over your embarrassingly slick hole.
No, you wanted more than that.
You wanted to drive your bare hands into his chest.
But that’s not what you did, is it?
When Bokuto finally removed his hand from your mouth, what slipped past your lips wasn’t the sound of a woman ready to kill. Instead, you sounded like a little girl begging to be carried home. And that hadn’t been the part that scared you, really.
It was the fact that no matter how much you tried to scream, nothing was coming out.
“L-let me go,” you wheezed, your voice cracking. “Or- or else.”
“Or else?” Bokuto replied, eliciting a gasp from you as he sniffed your throbbing, wet cunt. “Look at me, princess.”
“ Look at me ,” he repeated pleadingly, frustration giving his tone a rough edge, as he brought the hand that once suppressed your attempts to call for help to skim past your thigh and stroke the sole of your feet. “Just this once. See me.”
You kept your eyes closed, even as he kissed your toes and brought it down to his crotch, forcing you to dig your heel into the bulge jutting out. He rocked his hips, gyrating slowly, his cock hardening under your feet, as he whimpered into your leg.
“Please, please fuck me, please ,” Bokuto mewled. “I’ll do any- anything for you.”
Profanities rushed out of you, but no one could hear them. Not even you. Perhaps that's why he didn’t flinch when he lugged you down to straddle on his lap.
“Use me, baby,” he whispered, grinning wide as he snaked his other hand to your back and dug his nails around your nape, laying on his back and taking you with him as he did, your tits crushed to his chest.
With your arms dying in his grip, Bokuto easily stripped his pants along with his boxers. Violent trembles wracked your body as he dragged your pussy along his thick shaft, back and forth, your damp panties riding up every time he thrusted upwards.
His hot breath against your ear sent shivers down your spine as he giggled lowly, “Wanna cum inside you so fucking bad . Will you let me, hm? Please let me.”
Of course you didn’t want to. It’s not like you’d stop struggling, either. It’s just that Bokuto would never listen to you. Even when he whimpered and babbled, “You don’t want to- fuck, your pussy’s all nice and wet - oh, you don’t want to? That's okay, that’s okay, baby,” Bokuto still slipped his cock inside your underwear.
It slid past your lips up to your clit. And you’d never hated yourself more in your entire life when all you could do was stay limp and cry as the fat tip finally nudged your twitching hole.
“No, no, don’t worry, sweetheart,” he whispered, scattering kisses on your neck, “It’s just the head- just the head.”
As Bokuto groaned and rutted against you, all you wished for, in that moment, was for dawn to peek through the curtains and signal the end of this torment. But, still it went on with Bokuto stretching you open.
And as he split you in half, you detachedly realized that you were right.
This place did eat you alive.

Forever ago request that I started long ago and finally finished. Hope you'll see this, anon.
Title: Saved by the Bell | Words: 2,611 | Rating: Explicit (18+)
Pairing: Arthur x female reader
You can't exactly tell when it started; you just know it's getting worse. For a few weeks now, you and Arthur have been dancing around each other, making jokes and comments that aren't solely friendly. You also don't remember who started it, but now that you're both in it, neither of you wants to give in and stop.
Somehow, Arthur always manages to do his work right in front of you, often needlessly shirtless, giving you a good look at his muscular body. In turn, you bend over way more than necessary, not caring if your clothes stay in place, exposing your cleavage or legs up to your thighs.
Today, it's one of those days again. Arthur is chopping wood, always in your frame of vision, once again refusing to wear a shirt. He only stops when you use helping Pearson as an excuse to lick your fingers clean at every chance you get.
Arthur disappears after that. You see him again when you're down by the river to clean some clothes. He washes barely a few steps away from you. Unlucky for him, you're not the most squeamish when it comes to cold water. Only dressed in your chemise, you don't care how the stream soaks the fabric, making it cling to your thighs.
By the time Arthur walks over to you, you managed to get a few splashes of water on your chest as well, letting your breasts shine through like a beacon in the night. Arthur's eyes clearly rest there for a moment before he looks at your face.
"Charles said you wanted to come on our next hunting trip. That true?" he asks.
"Sure, why wouldn't I?"
"Lots of wild animals out there. It's pretty dangerous."
You know he doesn't mean that. After all, you've been out with them before. The whole conversation is just another way of teasing you. Arthur is standing way closer than he has to or does with the other girls. Droplets of water are still searching their way through the hair on his chest to run down over his stomach before they find their end at the hem of his jeans, not allowed to venture any deeper. Just like your gaze.
After weeks and weeks of this, it begins to annoy you. "You know, the chance of being ravished by some wild beast out there doesn't scare me at all. In fact, it would be a nice change of pace."
Arthur needs a moment to process your answer, and something in his face and posture shifts. "Are you sure? You could get hurt."
He sounds way too serious, and maybe you should get to the bottom of it, but you're out of patience. You get up and pick up the basket with the clothes before leaning over to Arthur. "I'm tired of the chase, Arthur. If you want your prey, you shoot it, or you don't. You don't make it run until it wants to throw itself off a cliff just to put an end to it."
Arthur opens his mouth but doesn't say anything. At that moment, you decide that you don't want a man who can't be honest about what he wants. You gave Arthur enough hints, making clear that you wouldn't be opposed to taking it a step further with him. If he can't act on that, then you'll call it quits.
"Maybe I'll find someone else to hunt with," you say, walking away. For a brief moment, you have a flicker of hope that Arthur might hold you back, but the silence behind you is absolut. It's over.
[Line Break]
A week later, Arthur and Micah bring in a big score. They're the most unlikely pair out there, but Arthur is also the only one who can keep Micah in check aside from Dutch. Arthur chooses to work with him, so nobody else has to.
It's barely past noon, but a little celebration is born. People are singing and drinking, and while you're usually not much into booze, you make an exception this time. Micah, on the other hand, gets drunk faster than anybody else. That's probably why he tries to talk to you at all. You could never stand him and made that so clear that even a thickhead like Micah accepted that he should avoid you. Today, he seems to have forgotten all about that.
"Come on, doll. We've just gotten off to a bad start. I'm sure we can become friends."
The way he lets his eyes roam over your body makes it pretty clear that being friends is the last thing on his mind. Usually, you would have told him to get lost, but Arthur is walking over to get another beer, and an evil voice inside you tells you to get even.
"Friends, huh?" you say, reaching for the collar of Micah's shirt. You straighten it before running your fingers over his skin, playing with the little hairs on Micah's chest. "That all?"
Micah grins, trying to puff himself up. Instead, he sways dangerously, barely able to stand upright. "Oh, I can be more than that. Say the word, and I'll show you a good time."
It's not lost on you that Arthur hasn't moved from his spot. He's just standing there, listening in on your conversation. "Tell you what," you say, leaning over to Micah and dropping your voice, "I'll think about it, but you have to do a lot better than this."
Arthur drops the bottle he's holding, but Micah pays him no mind, too occupied with you. "Let's go right now."
"Get sober first," you say and push Micah, making him fall flat on his ass. You walk away, hearing Micah laugh behind you.
You hope that he's forgotten all about this when he wakes up. You don't have the nerve to keep him off your back again, but Arthur's reaction was worth it.
Not in the mood to participate in the festivities, you grab a basket from Pearson's wagon before venturing into the woods to find berries or mushrooms. The sun drops down through the trees, basking even the darkest places in a warm light. The bushes hang ripe with berries and picking a few, you wish everything was that easy.
You're about to move on when you hear something behind you. Pulling your knife out, you whisk around, the basket dropping to the floor. Arthur is coming out from behind a few trees, lifting up his hands as he sees you. "Just me."
"Why are you following me?"
"I was just heading into the woods," Arthur grunts. "Is that a crime now?"
You put away your knife and drop to your knees to collect the scattered berries. Arthur moves over to help you, annoying you even more. You can't be angry at him for being nice.
"Cowardice should be a crime," you murmur under your breath.
Out of the corner of your eye, you see how Arthur clenches his jaw, fighting not to give you an answer. Two berries later, he loses the battle. "I'm not a coward."
"If you say so."
"I'm not afraid," Arthur huffs, "just because I'm not an asshole like Micah."
You grab one of the berries so hard that it crushes in your hand. "At least he wants me and acted on it."
"Who says I don't want you?" Arthur hisses.
Your faces are only inches apart now, and you stay there to hold your ground. "If you want me, Arthur, you have to take me. You can't-"
You don't get a chance to finish the sentence. Arthur closes the gap between you and presses a hard kiss on your lips. At first, you're too stunned to react, but then you throw your arms around Arthur's neck, eager for more.
Spurred on by your reaction, Arthur moves closer, and you topple over into the grass, Arthur on top of you. He kisses you open-mouthed and sloppy, his hands digging into your sides. It's almost painful, but you can't hold back either, running your hands over his chest.
While opening his shirt, you rip off a button, and it flies away into the bushes, never to be seen again. Arthur kisses along your neck while his hands roam over your body, cupping your breasts. You arch your back, pressing up against him, and Arthur opens your dress. With quick fingers, he manages to work it down enough to expose you and leans in to kiss every inch he can reach. You thread your fingers into Arthur's hair and can't help that you pull on it when he sucks one of your nipples into his mouth.
"Finally," you gasp, and Arthur reaches down to pull up your dress.
His hand immediately goes to your center, his hand sneaking into your underwear to tease your pussy. With how long you've been waiting for this and the rough treatment of Arthur now, it's no surprise that you're soaking wet for him, and Arthur moans against your skin at the touch.
"You really want to get ravished, huh?" he murmurs, and this time you pull his hair on purpose.
"You really should listen better."
"Fine," Arthur grunts, something in his voice that makes your skin tingle in anticipation. "Turn around."
He gives you free and helps you along, rolling you onto your stomach. "Arthur, what-?"
You can't finish the question and let out a surprised squeal when Arthur grabs you by the waist and lifts you up, forcing you to go on all fours. He pushes your skirt up with the same enthusiasm as before and pulls down your underwear, just enough to have access.
For a moment, you can't feel Arthur but hear him rummaging around with his own clothes. Then, a warm hand finds your thigh, the touch setting butterflies free in your stomach. Arthur might talk about ravishing you, but doesn't have it in him to hurt you, still way more careful than you're used to.
He moves closer, making you feel his heat as he brushes his cock along your wet folds before pushing in. You claw your fingers into the ground under you as Arthur stretches you open, pushing in deep until he draws a soft cry from your lips. He stills then, hesitating once more.
"Arthur, please," you say, pushing back against him, "more."
Finally, Arthur moves with more confidence. He thrusts into you while his fingers dig into your hips, holding on to you for leverage. Knowing that you're not that far from camp, you try your best to stay quiet, but with the way Arthur treats you now, you can't suppress eager moans.
When you add the occasional "God, yes" and call out Arthur's name, he groans and goes even harder. You dig your hands into the ground and push back against Arthur, your insides on fire. It borders on being painful, but you still can't help begging for more.
Arthur runs his hand over your back and up your neck before he fists his fingers into your hair. The touch alone sends heat waves through your body, and then Arthur pulls. You're forced to lift your head to avoid the pain and hollow your back, lifting your ass even higher in the process.
Using the new angle, Arthur takes you without mercy, holding on to your hair. You're completely under his control, unable to move unless you want it to hurt. Cries of pleasure escape you, and without warning, Arthur pushes you down on the ground.
He only glides out of you to get into a new position, then he forces your legs apart with his own, pushing back into you. You groan when you feel Arthur's weight on you, and he grabs your hair again, making you lift your head.
"Is that what you wanted, sweetheart?" Arthur asks, something dark in his voice.
Before you can answer, he already thrusts into you, and you remember how you talked about being ravished by a wild beast. It seems Arthur finally takes your words to heart. He barely gives you a second to breathe, holding you in that limbo between pain and pleasure, and your only choice is to take what he gives you.
When Arthur finally lets go of your hair, he puts his hand around your throat, and although there's no pressure on it, the gesture alone has you whimpering.
"You're mine now," Arthur says, his breath hot against your ear. "No more joking around with Micah, you understand?"
"I was just-"
Arthur only moves his fingers, and you become quiet, barely able to breathe.
"Try that again," Arthur says, and you swallow hard, sure that Arthur can feel it.
"No Micah," you say, and Arthur hums, satisfied.
He picks up the pace, only interrupting the way he ruts into you to pull back and push in deep, making you cry out each time. By now, you're sure that at least one person in camp must have heard you, but Arthur gives you no chance to think about it.
He's everywhere, his voice, his touch, and his cock, filling you up so good that you're trembling with lust. You feel like you can barely take it anymore when Arthur reaches under you, his fingers pressing against your clit. Trapped between his hand and the constant thrusts, you can't hold on any longer.
"Arthur, I-" you manage to say but break off when your orgasm hits your core and rushes in waves through the rest of your body.
Arthur holds still as your muscles tighten around him, letting you set the pace for now. You push back against him, riding the last waves before your body relaxes and Arthur glides out of you.
He carefully turns you around, cupping your face with his hand. "You're alright?"
You lift your head to kiss him, a big smile hopping onto your face. "More than alright."
"Good," Arthur says, kissing you back, and you reach down between the two of you.
"Come here, big boy."
Arthur moans when you grab his cock, and when he tries to protest, you kiss him and hold on to his neck. This time, it's you who doesn't give him a chance to move, your hand sneaking into his hair.
Arthur curses against your lips as you tuck at a few strands and his cock pulses in your hand. He buries his face against your neck, his hips bucking, and finally, everything goes quiet.
You both take slow breaths before Arthur lies down next to you, staring up into the trees.
"You know, we could have done that months ago," you say, unable to keep the snide out of your voice.
Arthur huffs. It's a single, somewhat defeated sound coming from deep within. "I admit it, I'm an idiot."
You turn to him, running your hand over his chest. "It's my fault, too. I could have been more forward instead of waiting until even Micah made a move."
"I said no Micah," Arthur groans.
"What? If it wasn't for him, you never would have made a move," you tease. "You should thank-"
Arthur moves over so fast that you barely see it before his lips seal yours.
"I thank Micah in hell," he growls, fury in his eyes. "And I think I said no more Micah talk."
"Fine," you say, rolling your eyes, but you can't help the tingling feeling that his voice sends all over your body. "I'll shut up if you make me."
Arthur laughs and leans over you, his lips almost touching yours. He grabs a strand of your hair, letting it run through his fingers. "I think I know just the way to do that."

tidal waves
pairing: atsumu miya x reader
genre: angst, suggestive
tags: high school sweethearts(?), breakup, strangers to lovers, mentions of cheating
a/n: i was about to put in some warnings for toxic relationship, but i couldn't do that to tsumu i don't hc him as someone who would do such a thing to his lover. also this is not proofread!!
atsumu is like a wild current, when you get taken by his strong waves, there is nothing else to do than just go with his flow.
this is osamu’s life ever since they were kids. it was nothing forced, he loved hanging out with his twin. although sometimes, atsumu could be a handful.
even while playing, atsumu is like a roaring tide – ready to take on whatever stands in his way and granted, he always gets what he wants.
his overzealous life is what keeps him going every day, playing with his 100%, not half-assing anything, and living life to its fullest.
atsumu realized he was in love when he had heard your laughter in the hallways.
everything stops then. he could've sworn none of the people that littered the hallways moved, and he felt his heart stop.
there you were – laughing with your friends, a bright beautiful smile on your face and letting out melodious sounds without seeming to notice the effect it had on him.
he could only stare at you for how long before he felt osamu whack him upside the head.
“hey, idiot. you havin’ a stroke or somethin’?” osamu narrowed his eyes on his brother, looking for anything off but he guessed atsumu has always been weird.
“let's go inside, class is about to start–”
“samu, who’s that angel?” atsumu cut him off, gaze still on your retreating figure. his voice sounded distant as him you're taking him with you as you walked away with your friends.
“huh? who? that girl? dunno her,” osamu shrugged before dragging his twin inside the classroom.
all day, you’ve been stuck in atsumu’s mind, not caring at all about the lectures. he had a goofy smile on his face as he stared out the window.
who are you? what is your name? do you know him? what class are you in? are you older than him? what are you doing now? why are you so beautiful?
there are so many questions that atsumu miya would like to know. and the first thing in his list is to ask you on a date.
he sure hopes you’re not dating anybody.
the second time atsumu saw you was when you were sitting inside the gymnasium with a friend, holding what looks to be a bento box. were you giving it to someone? his heart fluttered inside his chest, imagining the receiver to be him.
god, he wished it was him.
his gaze tore off you when a ball hit his head. his glare was immediately wiped off his face when he saw who threw the ball at him.
“atsumu, pay attention.” kita scolded, the cold expression on his face causing a shiver to run up and down his spine. he could really be scary without even trying.
“sorry, captain!” he saluted before jogging off to his position.
osamu had noticed that atsumu felt a little off that day. not in a sense that his performance was bad, per se. more so, he was pushing himself to his limits. other than that, he kept glancing to the stands and doing spontaneous moves with his irritating smirk on his face.
he has always been observant, and he had seen this expression on his twin’s face before.
atsumu likes someone. but he doesn’t know who.
osamu kept a close eye on his twin as they continued practicing. the team they are up against are coming in a moment now and they don’t need to waste any time.
when break came, atsumu kept whining about how his body hurt as he downed his bottle of water. osamu can only roll his eyes as his twin obviously was showing off when he lifted up his shirt and wiped it on his sweating face. a few fangirls of theirs squealed from the stands, and although atsumu would sometimes bask in their praise and screams, this time, he had a pout on his lips as he stared at that same spot once again.
“who the hell are you lookin’ at?” he can't help but interrogate his twin, he's highly suspicious and he wanted atsumu to just spit it out instead of acting this way. or else, his performance will surely affect the game.
“hm? oh, them.” atsumu pointed at you, who’s on the edge of your seat as you looked at their opponent who is now entering the gym.
oh. that girl he heard laughing in the hallway.
his gaze then shifted to what you’re looking at and realized it was the captain of their opposing team you were ogling.
oh.
osamu shook his head, “leave it, ‘samu. yer hopeless.” patting his twin on the back, they jogged back over to greet the other team before the game started.
atsumu played normally throughout the game, albeit a little harshly against your boyfriend. he gave them little to no opening, and they even scored a point lower than theirs. nevertheless, he gripped the captains hand after the game a little too tight with a fake smile on his face.
he followed you as you pranced towards your boyfriend and gave him the bento box. he felt his stomach turn when he leaned down to kiss you. finally, he decided he can no longer watch and turned his back to you.
what a lucky bastard.
atsumu didn’t sleep a wink that night. his thoughts kept drifting back to you, thinking about how he has no hope like what his twin said. he thought about what could’ve been if he was in that guy’s place. he’ll always flaunt the bento you bring him in front of the team, he’ll even take you to their practices and walk you home afterwards. maybe have a date, or just hangout in yours or his house.
he’ll treat you better than that guy.
the next day, atsumu decided he can’t have you and what he feels is only a crush. a crush so intense, he had his heart broken by someone who he doesn’t even know.
the third time he saw you was when you were crying alone in one of the stairs. he was supposed to go back to the classroom that time but he stopped in his tracks when he saw you, head dropped down as your sobs and sniffles echoed. he gulped, feet frozen from where he stood, not knowing whether to reach out for you or if you will even like to be approached right now.
clearing his throat, he took a few steps towards you as he sat a few inches away from you. you gasped when you lifted your head up as you saw him, quickly wiping away your tears as you looked away from atsumu.
“hey, so, uh...you okay?” he was hesitant. he felt like he was approaching a wild animal instead of offering comfort for someone who was crying their eyes out.
“no...” your small voice answered, sniffles followed after that and before he knew it, you were crying again.
his eyes widened in panic as he wracks his mind on what to do.
“hey, shh! uh, calm down. um – shit –i'm sorry, i didn’t mean to make you cry harder, oh fuck–” he decided to put his arms around you and bring your head to his chest. he rocked the two of you from side to side as he shushes you, his hand coming up to stroke your hair.
“there, there.” he patted your head when he felt you calm down. he winced at the wet patch on his uniform but he didn’t comment about it. “a beautiful person like you shouldn’t be crying, anyway.”
he heard you let out a breathy chuckle as you pull yourself away from him. a tinge in his heart made him wish that you hadn’t pulled away from him too soon. all his feelings from long ago suddenly rushed back, looking at your tear streaked face and reddened nose. even after crying you looked radiant.
“sorry about that, i don’t usually go around crying on strangers.” you forced a smile, hiccuping slightly as you forced yourself to calm down some.
“but thank you. i, uh, i needed that.” this time, it was a genuine smile.
“no worries! i just happen to pass by and you know, yer lucky it was me, because if it was somebody else they might take advantage of you or somethin’,” he rubbed the back of his nape, a blushing blooming across his face as he averted his gaze from you.
it was totally not because he realized it was his crush from before and he wanted to comfort you. nope!
“sorry about your uniform, um...” your eyes switched to his face then to his tear stained uniform.
“atsumu. atsumu miya. but you can call me ‘tsumu,” he offered his hand, blush still on his face. you told him your name as you shook his hand.
“i can wash it for you if you want?” even if your offer might sound like he might have a chance to see you again, he decided he doesn’t want to burden you with it and shook his head no.
“nah, i’ll be fine. don’tcha worry yer pretty little head over it.” he went and ruffled your hair, making you smile as you rolled your eyes and swatted his hand away.
“you know, there’s something that can help you feel better.” he added, a thoughtful look on his face. for a moment, you admired how expressive he is with his emotions. you can’t deny that he looks cute.
atsumu dragged you away from the stairs and out of the campus. your eyes widened in shock upon realization that you two are going outside despite the class not being over yet. what is with this guy? what if he’s a delinquent all along!
“um, atsumu, we shouldn’t be leaving the school right now...” your worried tone made him turn his head to you and flashed you a grin. you swore your heart skipped a beat when he smiled at you like that.
“don’t worry, i’m sure you can ace yer classes, anyway. and yer goin’ to like this, i promise!” you can’t help his energetic self rubbing off on you and let him lead the way to wherever it is he’s going to take you.
he might look all suave and composed, but inside he’s panicking just by the feel of your soft palm against his.
you’re holding hands, for heaven’s sake! he just comforted you because you were crying and now he’s holding your hands! he might pass out at this point, but he’s not done with his mission just yet. he wouldn’t let this day end without you being at least a little bit happy.
you both stopped in front an ice cream stand that many students also frequented. atsumu dug in his pockets for money, his tongue poking out. he paid the vendor and soon, he’s holding two ice cream cones with his favorite flavor.
“try this! it’s the best!” he handed you the other ice cream cone, immediately scarfing his own as he watched your face expectantly.
you took a small lick on the cold dessert and you were suddenly taken to heaven. whatever this is he gave you, it was good.
you moaned when the flavors bursted in your tongue, “you’re right! this is the best!”
atsumu laughed at your face, ice cream making a mess on your lips, near your cheek and even your nose! it was cute for him, and he felt himself fall in love all over again.
when you noticed him staring at you with an amused smile on his face, you tilted your head in confusion, hand going up to swipe at your cheek. but it only made the mess even worse by the action.
“what’s wrong, ‘tsumu? is there something on my face?”
atsumu shook his head as he bit his lip, holding back his laughter.
“nope, yer all good! nothing wrong with yer face at all!” turns out you didn’t trust him so you went to the car parked on one of the stores nearby. you gasped upon looking at your reflection. you were a mess!
nothing wrong with my face, my ass.
“tsumu! you’re so mean!” you whined, immediately wiping your face with a tissue that came with the ice cream.
the man in question only laughed at your reaction. you can only glare at him playfully as he seemed to almost run out of breath from laughing at you.
meanwhile, atsumu can’t help but think that this is probably one of the first time in a while where he laughs happily. and it’s over something stupid as seeing your face with ice cream.
“s-sorry! can’t help it, you looked ridiculous!” he managed out in between laughs.
once he calmed down, he apologized sincerely to you dragged you once again to who knows where.
the two of you skipped class that day.
since then, you and atsumu kept hanging out. usually with his twin, osamu, and sometimes tagging you along to their volleyball practices and even introducing you to the whole team. everybody seems to know you already from how much atsumu has told them about you. he can’t help it, you’re just so amazing that you take his breath away.
it didn’t take them too long to notice how much you two grew closer and closer.
atsumu has never been the one to be nervous before, during, and after their games. he likes to call himself level-headed when it comes to tense situations, not immediately letting his nerves take control of his body and consume him.
he lived for the thrills of life.
so, why, when he looks at you as you smile at him while pointing to a cotton candy stand did he feel his heart race a mile a minute? he was just going to ask you out.
and if you said no, then he’ll understand. it wouldn’t be the first time he’ll experience heartbreak.
“look, ‘tsumu! they have a lot of cotton candy there! let’s go, maybe we can buy some before they ran out.” you tugged at his hand and pulled him towards the stand. he lets himself get dragged by you. he paid the vendor absentmindedly.
throughout the day, atsumu keep glancing at anything except for you. he even forgot to eat his own cotton candy and instead let you eat it.
when you asked him to go to the rides in the fair, he agreed, which is why you both find yourself in the front seats of the roller coaster.
okay, since when the hell did the two of you get there?
he looked over at you who’s smiling from ear to ear, screaming in excitement as you put your arms in the air. you looked so beautiful, still so amazing in his eyes. he doesn’t deserve you but he doesn’t want to let you go ever again.
the ride is pulling back, back, back until it snapped. there was a deafening silence before the ride fell slowly then faster and faster until it threw you into a high spiral.
you were screaming, the people behind you were screaming, but atsumu can only shut his eyes because he was feeling dizzy.
“y/n! will you go out with me?!” he shouted into the air. there was absolutely no way that you can hear him over the screams and the air attacking your ears.
“what?!” you screamed back.
“will you go ou–”
“no, i heard you! i was just asking if you were serious!”
“yes i am! i'm in love with you!”
your heart flew along with the rollercoaster and you think it was the most memorable moment than all the rides in the amusement park.
“yes!” you laughed, feeling giddy all over. it might be because of atsumu or it could be because of the rollercoaster.
“what?!”
“i’m in love with you too!”
you both went home hand in hand, smiling at each other like two lovestruck idiots.
dating miya atsumu was like being caught in a wild current. and just like everything else when they're taken by his strong waves, you went along and swam perfectly with his flow.
you were there for him when he has a match. wearing his jacket as you cheered for him louder than the school’s band. he appreciates it, really. he finds it endearing how you showed all of your support for him and in turn, he scored every point for you and only you.
he’s the sweetest boyfriend. promising you’ll never regret a moment if you agreed to go out with him. a date turned into two, and before you knew it, you’re both falling deeper and deeper in love with each other.
he has your restaurant orders memorized, almost like muscle memory at this point from how often you two always spent time with the other. you even know where he last put something of his when you both decided to move in together.
college came and the two of you can’t help the stresses it came with it. yet, the flame of your love couldn’t burn any brighter. despite the hectic schedules, you both find a way to spend even at least a day with the other. squeezing in dates in the weekends, study dates on wednesdays, even hanging out sometimes in the cafeteria.
then there was that party after they won against another univerity’s team. it was loud, the place packed with people, swimming with drinks and drunk in the thrill of the party.
he has an arm wrapped on your waist protectively as you both wafted through the house. he had a few drinks in him, and when you told him to calm down a bit he only dismissed you saying he can handle himself.
“i’m gonna go and get us drinks, babe. wait here.” he slurred, kissing your temple as he got up from his spot next to you on the couch, waddling through the people to get to where the drinks are.
you stayed put on the couch, eyes straying to the couple making out on the couch across from yours. almost all the people around you are either touching each other or having a lip locking session by themselves.
it made you squirm in your seat as you thought about atsumu’s lips on yours, hands wandering all over your body like what these people are doing right now.
it must be the atmosphere or the alcohol you had downed a while ago, but it suddenly felt too hot. you took off your top layer of your clothes and fanned yourself with your hands.
atsumu still wasn’t back so you decided to get up and check on him, avoiding the grinding bodies of people.
your heart sank, a boiling rage bubbling inside you as you saw him in a corner with a girl who was also very much drunk and all over your boyfriend. she was getting handsy with him and you hated it. you should be the one touching him like that, not some girl in this party that he wouldn’t even remember the day after.
huffing, you walked towards him and grabbed his hand.
“baby, there you are! what took you so long?” your hands flipped his body towards yours so the girl would be stuck with the sight of atsumu’s back.
your boyfriend’s eyes are a little unfocused as he glanced down at you. it widened when he saw who it was, a smile stretching his face upon seeing who it is.
“hey there, yourself.” his eyes drank you in, taking every bit of skin exposed, until they landed on your lips. “god, yer smokin’ hot.”
he captured your lips with his, you let yourself appreciate the moment, hands playing with his hair as you purposely make loud moans while opening your eyes slightly to see the girl he was with a while ago with an enraged look.
i win.
you would've scoffed at her when atsumu’s hands drifted down to your hips, grinding his own to yours as he started nipping your jaw and neck.
“let’s go somewhere private, baby, please.” he suckled on the spot near your collarbone before travelling back up to your neck, lips nibbling on your earlobe, “wanna touch you, wanna feel you, please, baby, please.”
the neediness laced in his tone almost made your knees give out underneath you. a hot liquid feeling inside of you swirling in your stomach as you felt arousal cloud your whole being.
biting your lip, you nodded at him, pecking his lips one last time before dragging him to a more private place.
you stopped in front of a room, knocking first to see if there’s anyone inside. when no one answered, you both proceeded to go in, locking the door behind you. atsumu was quick to pin you against the door, attacking your lips with rough kisses as he grinded his pelvis against yours.
“fuck, baby,” he moaned between kisses, “i want you, ‘m gonna make you feel so fucking good,” it wasn’t a promise, more so it was a statement. you know, he’s going to make you feel so good by the end of the night, and you don’t doubt that one bit.
“ah! i know, baby. nnngh– fuck,” you whimpered when his hand travelled down to touch you beneath your bottoms, “l-let’s move this to the bed,” you panted, out of breath just from him kissing you alone.
it took him a while to get his hands off you and process the words you said to him. he lifted you up with ease and threw you onto the bed, removing both of your clothes with lightning speed. he couldn’t wait anymore, he just wanted to be inside you, entangled with you.
before he can position himself inside you, however, you pushed him down with all your might and straddled his hips.
you showed him just who he belongs to that night.
you thought it was silly, the next day you asked him about the girl last night. it sparked something in him, causing him to snap at you.
“what do you want me to say, y/n? that i’m cheatin’ on you? for fuck’s sake, i don’t even know the girl! so will you stop bitchin’ about it?!” he was seething, not even sparing you a glance as he spat those words at you.
your chest felt tight as you stared at him with disbelief.
many fights followed after that.
atsumu realized he fell out of love for you when he doesn’t look forward to coming home. he looks like a robot, emotionless as he only grunted to acknowledge your presence, if he even acknowledged it at all.
you would eat together, but no word will be spoken unless it would start another fight.
it was getting tiring, to say the least. every other day, all the two of you have been doing was make up, fight again, then make up. you would storm off, he would follow after you, you will both apologize, you will fight again in the morning, the house will be filled with angered screams.
you both lied in bed, backs facing each other, feeling the cold wrapping the two of you like a blanket.
he never invites you to his games anymore. never puts any effort on dates, or even study dates the two of you were used to doing. you rarely even see his face unless it was to come home and get his stuff and then he was gone. sometimes days, weeks, it even came to a point where he disappeared for a month.
the both of you don’t even know, how or why you started fighting like this. how you both drifted apart when it’s been going great to the two of you.
as per usual, it was osamu who noticed the whole ordeal. he never saw you with his twin anymore, never brings you up to any conversation. the light in his eyes seemed to dull, and he looked like he wasn’t getting any sleep.
“how’s y/n, by the way? you seemed to stay here more than yer guys’ own place,” he wss just making small talk, moving around his own kitchen as he prepared dinner for himself and his twin who’s sitting on his couch in the livingroom, busy playing games.
“fine. just busy with her studies ‘s all,” atsumu nonchalantly replied, paying half a mind to what his brother was saying.
“you guys doing alright?” osamu almost broke the bowl he was holding when atsumu let out a curse.
“i just said we’re fine, samu! god, this is why i don’t want to stay here in the first place.” atsumu stormed off, throwing the controller on the couch before slamming the door shut.
osamu doesn’t understand why his brother got mad at that. but judging by his reaction, things with the two of you weren’t fine at all.
it was cold when atsumu went outside, his own breaths coming out in smoke as he leveled his breathing. if somebody mentioned you one more time, he’s sure he was going to lose his shit.
he brought out his phone, dialling a familiar number and bringing the device to his ear, waiting for it to ring.
“are you home right now?”
moans and sounds of slapping of skin reverberated in the room. both of their sweaty bodies moving against each other desperately. it felt good, too good. but it wasn’t you, atsumu know that. but for a while, it made him forget about you.
with her, he can control her however he wanted. pleased him however he wanted. without complaints, without second thoughts, she simply just allows him to use her body whichever way he wanted.
“a-ah! atsumu, i– fuck! i lo-love you–”
atsumu gripped the girl’s neck, cutting off her air slightly but not completely, enough to make her lightheaded.
“shut up, cumsluts don’t talk unless i order them to,” he punished them with bruising thursts of his hips, chasing after his own release.
the girl screamed louder and louder. it felt too good, he hits all the right spots leaving her to roll her eyes to the back of her head, seeing stars behind her eyelids.
atsumu stayed the night in the girl’s house, limbs entangled as they fucked again and again and again until all thoughts of you disappeared from his head.
two weeks later, he texted you saying he wants to break up. you felt suffocated. lungs fighting over the sobs wracking your body as you hugged yourself tight. after being disconnected with him for so long, worrying yourself over where he could’ve gone or how he was. he’s only going to give you a text saying he wanted to break up without even sparing you an explanation? it’s like you didn’t even spend years together.
your brain remembered his words from when you first started dating. he said you will never regret a moment when you agreed to go on a date with him.
yet as you found yourself lost in his wild tidal waves, the water choking you and not allowing you air to breathe, you were only left drowning in the sea.
turns out you couldn’t swim along with his flow anymore.

Fake dating, love at first sight, and all that. The basic fluff palate.
A/N: I had no idea what the lyrics to "Hello Stranger" by Stray Kids were until after I wrote the fic, but the title and vibe made me daydream this whole idea up in the car. You're welcome. (Totally would recommend the official MV too, it just doesn't have English subs)
Another day, another heckling. And this time it had to be on a public subway, apparently.
"All I'm saying is, if you're so rich, why do you have to conveniently forget your credit card every single time we all go out for lunch?" Edward narrowed his eyes at Ling.
"Why bring it when I don't expect to be going out to eat?" Ling said airily. "And you're always so generous when it happens unexpectedly."
Edward grunted. "That's an absolute load of bull and you know it. You can't say that you 'just forgot' to bring money because you 'didn't expect it' when I text the group chat 'Who wants to go out for lunch tomorrow?' and you say 'Ooh! Ooh! Me!'" he squealed in a poor imitation of his friend.
"Your girlfriend would love you for it, you know—paying for dates," Ling continued, ignoring Ed's accusations. He gasped. "Oh, that's right! You don't have a girlfriend! Perhaps if you weren't so quarrelsome, you could manage to win the heart of a lady."
"Who are you calling so puny that he's gonna die alone and have weeds all over his grave that no one will bother to pull?" Ed screeched.
Russell finally spoke up from his seat at the end of the row. "Ed, he didn't say anything about your height. He may be a cheapskate, but he didn't make a dig at your height. For once."
"Yeah, that's right! No fair changing the subject, Ling. This discussion was about how you're a little rich boy who always makes his friends pay for his own food," Ed huffed.
"Why quibble over such a minor expense? How expensive could a burger be? Twenty dollars?" The other two boys gaped at Ling, but he only kept going. "Besides, I'm far more interested in the current topic. Edward, you know I care for you deeply—"
"Fat chance."
"—but with your disposition, I doubt you could get a girlfriend if you tried!"
"Now, you wait just a second! You don't know squat about my love life! In fact, I could—"
Out of nowhere, a blonde girl knelt on the seat next to Ed's and slipped an arm around his shoulders.
"Hello, stranger." She winked. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming this way today? I know you're shy about our relationship, but you could have just told them, you know. You don't have to give into their teasing just for me, Eddie-boo."
All three boys gawked at her—Russell and Ling because of the fact that Ed actually had a girlfriend and Ed because of the fact that he didn't. Except now he had to pretend that this strange, hot blonde girl was his girlfriend.
So he choked. Then he recovered just enough to say, "Babe, no. I was just about to tell them. These pea-brains," he glared at them, "barely let me get a word in edgewise. Please believe me, babe."
"Of course I believe you, pretty boy." Her gaze made all coherent thoughts fly from his head. "But even if they are pea-brains, I should probably introduce myself." She tapped his nose. The buzzing feeling lingered long after the tip of her finger left it. "I'm Winry." She beamed at the other two boys. Ed's stomach twisted. He wasn't jealous, was he? He probably just ate something bad at lunch. Maybe Ling slipped something in his burger…
Ling grinned wickedly. "Lovely to meet you, Winry. How did you two meet? It must have been quite a job getting this one to agree to go out with you, what with his charming personality and all."
"Hm, how did we meet, babe? It all happened very gradually—knowing each other's faces, then knowing each other's names, then small talk here and there. Then before you know it, we were having deeper conversations as close friends, and then suddenly, we were dating! He's a real softie once you get him to open up," she said, ruffling his bangs.
"Winry!" He cleared his throat. "Babe, you don't have to tell them everything."
"Oh, man!" Russell guffawed, wiping away a tear. "This girl must have you whipped, Ed."
"Something like that," Ed muttered.
Suddenly, the train lurched and threw Winry forward, her arm around Ed's shoulders directing her course straight for his lap. They stared at each other in panic for a few moments. Then Winry laughed nervously. "Looks like I fell for you, huh, babe?"
Edward slapped his forehead. "Really? Fell for me? That's so terrible, I might break up with you just for that."
"Nah, you like me too much," Winry said, planting a kiss on his forehead.
Edward's face turned a violent shade of red. Pretty girl. Flirting. At him. Dream. It was a dream. Dreams don't have lips with that much detail. Can't look at friends. They'll laugh. Different topic. Periodic table. Periodic tables are simple. Hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium…
"Like I said," Russell smirked. "Whipped."
The subway car lurched again as the intercom announced their arrival at the stop, and Ed's arms flew to keep Winry from being thrown again. Just as quickly as he had held her close, he loosened his grip. For a moment, her eyes widened and a faint blush rose on her cheeks. She shifted on his lap.
"This is my stop. Nice meeting you guys!" Winry leaned in to whisper into Ed's ear. "I probably caused you more trouble than I solved. I'm so sorry." She offered him a half smile and slid off his lap.
His legs somehow felt bare without her weight, his arms cold without her warmth. How could he just let her walk away? But how could he just stalk a stranger? Fortunately, all intelligent thought had left him long ago.
"See you guys later! Better priorities have come up than messing around with you losers!"
Edward heard silence, then laughter behind him, but he kept his eyes forward as he followed Winry out into the station. Crap, what had he gotten himself into? He was such an idiot. His idiot mouth and his idiot legs had been faster than his idiot brain and he was about to be in big, big trouble with this really beautiful, really nice stranger. The doors closed behind them.
"Look, I'm really, really sorry. I don't know what got into me. I don't know why I went along with it. I don't just do this sort of thing, it just happened. If there's—" Winry cut Ed off.
"You went along with it because I started it. What were you supposed to do? If anything, it's my fault for putting you in an awkward position. It was gutsy and presumptuous and I should have just let your conversation happen. I don't exactly go around pretending to be random people's girlfriends either. Some weird gut reaction in me just...did it. I...I don't even know what to say for myself. I made you lie to your friends and now you're going to have to tell them that and...I'm. I'm so sorry." She raked her hand into her ponytail and avoided his gaze.
"Can we consider ourselves forgiven, then?"
She met his eyes with a slight laugh. "Yeah, I guess so."
"Good, so...um…are you actually single?" He sighed and mumbled, "man, I don't normally do this," and continued, "Because I'd love to take you out for real if you are." His pulse thundered through every blood vessel in his body while she opened and closed her mouth and blushed. It would be cute if his entire being wasn't vibrating waiting for her response.
"Y–yeah," she breathed.
"Gah," Ed rubbed the back of his neck. "Of course you're not single, why would you be? I mean, look at you—"
"No! No. I'm. I'm not single. I mean! I'm not in a—I don't have a boyfriend."
"Oh."
"I'd...I'd love to go out with you, Edward."
"Wow," he finally managed.
"What?" Winry smiled at him in confusion.
"I really scored big today and I don't even know how." He grinned crookedly. "Was something about my complete lack of competent speech attractive or something? Nobody just agrees to going on a date with a complete stranger. Your name is actually Winry, right?"
She laughed. "Yes, my name is actually Winry. I didn't really have a lot of time to come up with a fake name or anything. As for going out with a complete stranger… I don't know. I just know I can trust you. I figure, why not go for it? And, um. I wasn't entirely joking when I called you 'pretty boy.'" She bit her lip and smiled at her shoes.
Ed's mind blanked for what seemed the billionth time that day. "You're the—you're the pretty one!" he squawked.
"Well, then...if I'm the pretty one, can I be the one to ask you for your number?"
"What?" He wasn't sure whether he'd been shaken out of his mental fog or pushed further into it. "I mean, yes! Um, here it is." He fumbled with his phone and showed her his contact information.
"Thanks." She smiled with all the light the universe could give her. "I'll...see you soon then?"
"Are you busy right now?" Ed blurted out. "Or is taking you out to dinner too soon?"
"Oh! No, not at all. I'm kind of craving Chinese takeout, actually, if that's okay."
"Yeah. Yeah, it's totally okay. Just. One thing." Winry raised her eyebrows in accession. "Never call me 'Eddie-boo' again."

Squeeze that bunny tail!
Part 5 (final part)
Description: The RAD student council as well as the exchange students help out at a bar where, oops, the staff´s dress codes are those sweet bunny outfits that we all know and thirst for. The MCs, Violet and Clover, play a game of who can touch the most bunny tails over the evening without getting caught. Prepare for fluff, funny innuendos as well as my thirst over hot boys in bunny outfits.
This is the finale of this way too long "one shot". Find the prior parts here!
Story continues under the cut. You´re almost finished!!
Continuing to work at the bar for a while, Violet found a surprising guest on the other side of the counter.
“Clover! What are you doing here?"
Clover sank down on one of the chairs.
"A double shot, please" Clover joked, but probably wouldn't say no to a little refresher either.
"Tired?" Violet laughed, handing her a glass of water instead.
"Mhm..." Clover rubbed her face. "I´m slowly running out of energy... Well, how are your squeeze-points doing?"
They exchanged their data. While Violet was doing pretty well with a total of 17 points, Clover had (still) only gathered five points so far.
"Meh... I knew I'd loose" Clover mumbled.
"It's still not too late" Violet tried cheering her up. There's still plenty of time to touch Solom-"
"DONT." Clover shot her giggling friend a glare. "Look, it's not even anything personal, I just... Feel very weird inside when I imagine me walking up to Solomon like this."
Violet's smirk widened.
"You mean like... The fluttery feeling of butterflies in your stomach? Clover, could it be...?! That you lov-"
"I will eliminate you if you end this sentence."
She couldn't hide a smile at the joke, but soon Clover had to realise that her persistence to not squeeze Solomon's tail would have drastic consequences.
"You know...” Violet thought out loud at some point. "We never thought of a price for the winner of our challenge, did we?"
"... Nope."
The ideas kept processing in Violet's head. Then it hit her.
"Or maybe... Rather than thinking of a price, let's do a penalty for the loser."
Clover's eyes wandered up to meet hers, her face curling into a "I don't like where this is going" expression.
"How abooouut... The loser..." Violet began.
"Don't."
"... Has toooo..."
"Please don't."
"...Touch..."
"Why do you hate me."
"... Solomon's tail?" Violet grinned proudly.
"... You really hate me, don't you?"
"Come on, Clover" Violet cheered. "There's still time for you to score some points~!"
Clover wanted to reply something when a weird round of girly giggles caught their attention.
Around the dining tables, a group of female succubi where currently being served by Beel.
But they didn't seem to be interested in the drinks in his hand, but much rather in the man holding them. Even from the bar, the human girls could hear their excited squeals as they kept batting their eyes at the demon.
Clover's head landed on the bar counter in a depressed sigh.
"Whatever... I don't really care about the game anyway..."
In an instant, Violet's whole tone had changed.
"Clover..." She mumbled, voice soft as the patted her friend's head.
"It's been like this the whole evening" Clover grumbled, eyes pointing to the group of succubi. "I can't blame them, but... When I hear them thirsting over Beel, I…"
"Just go up to him" Violet said. "You know Beel, it's not like he'd be interested in some random demons."
The frown on Clover's face deepened. "... And in no random human, either..."
"Stop saying that. You know he likes your company. Likes you."
Clover shook her head.
"Just... Leave me, okay. Thank you, but... I'm just a little angry at myself. I also had so many chances to squeeze his tail but... Yeah..."
Violet clearly remained bothered, but Clover was quick to change the topic.
"Did you get that Luci-butt already?"
"... No" Violet cried. "He dashed away to grab Mammon, and they vanished in the staff room."
"... That's why Mammon was tied to the ceiling fan!" Clover called out. "Explains a lot."
Violet gave a nod, however continuing with her trail of thought.
"It's been quite a while, though... He should have been around the casino area, but wasn't there... And now he's on break, but, again, I have no idea where he is."
"Go search for him" Clover said. "I'll back you up here. I need something to do anyway, so... Go get your man. There's still his tail in need to be squished, right?"
--------------------------
They argued a little, but in the end, Violet accepted Clover's offer and excused herself into an early break. Violet was searching through the whole club. Asking some of the brothers, too, but none could give her a clue. She wasn't able to find him anywhere, so in her desperation, she went up to Simeon.
"Hey, Simeon? Have you seen Lucifer anywhere?"
The angel turned to greet her as well.
"Hello", he smiled. "Does he have a shift right now? If not, maybe he is using the restroom."
"Hm... I've been looking for him for a while now, though..."
Simeon mustered her for a moment.
"He might also be outside to catch some fresh air" he continued his trail of thought. "But I fear he might get a cold if he stays out for too long. Would you mind taking care of him?"
"Huh?" Violet's eyes widened in surprise.
"Lucy always had a bad habit of taking too little care of himself. So, could you check on him? I am sure he would be delighted to see you."
----------------------------------
When Violet pulled open the heavy doors of the bar's back entrance, a head turned towards her immediately.
"Lucifer...!" she called out, looking down on the demon sitting on the stairs.
"Violet... Did something happen?"
He was already in the movement of standing up, worry spreading in his face.
"No no, everything's fine!" Violet quickly assured him. "I just came looking for you."
He stopped mid-motion, but in the end sat down again.
"Why?"
Violet bit her lip. She decided to plonk down beside him.
"I'm also on break now. I thought we could spend it together and relax a little."
She felt his gaze on her, but as soon as she turned to face him, he was looking off into the distance.
"I am pleased to hear you decided to grand me your free time" he smiled. Then, he gave a sigh.
"However... I should probably head back in soon. Someone might need my help-"
"S-stay!"
Violet impulsively grabbed Lucifer's arm before he could escape.
They stared at each other. Until Lucifer let out a breathy laugh.
"Well, if you demand my presence that much... I fear I cannot turn down a request from you."
A little silence came over them. From the side glances Violet threw him, the demon looked kind of... Odd.
"Ah... Is there something you need from me, perhaps?" Lucifer asked. "Or why is it that you want me to stay so badly?"
And from how he looked at her, his perfect attire not shattered, but shreds of exhaustion glistening in his eyes, Violet knew that he wasn't okay.
"I'm good", she replied. "I simply... Wanted to check if you're doing good, too."
Surprise crossed Lucifer's face.
"Of course" he replied. "I am used to working until late."
However, Violet kept inspecting him.
"... Are you worried about me?" he asked. She did not really answer with more than a guilty glance off to the side. "Your worry is misplaced. I am nothing out of the usual."
Violet almost gave a grumbly noise. So he wasn't going to break through his perfect face so easily, huh?
"Okay", she said, tone almost as if she didn't really care. "You know, because I feel kind of exhausted."
Lucifer was hesitating. "... Explain."
"We've been running around for hours" Violet began to list. "The music inside is rather loud, especially near the dance hall. Mammon keeps causing trouble... Well, not only him. It's always tricky dealing with an angry Satan, too, or Beel when he's hungry, or with Asmo when he's... horny..."
The demon interrupted her by giving a huff. He had seen through her plan.
"... So you've come to pity me? Do I seem that weak to you?"
"What? No!" she exclaimed. "I would never think of you as weak!"
She made a little pause. A little nervous, she stretched out her hand to link her pinky finger with his.
"But I... Also don't think it's a sign of weakness to share your exhaustion with others... Let alone to be exhausted in the first place."
His crimson eyes met hers.
"... Why would I be exhausted?" he mumbled. "Dealing with this scumbag of a brother, keeping Beel from illegally eating food supplies without paying for them... Asmo groping strangers, Satan mocking me on purpose... Levi clinging to my side, whining that he wants to go home like some toddler... Oh, did you know Belphie locked himself in one of the toilet stalls to sleep? For two whole hours?" he was waiting for her to laugh, but had to endure her worried expression. "And then there's Lord Diavolo... Mixing his own sparks of crazy into this chaos..."
Mumbling the last part, he looked down on his clothing... Or rather the places where he normally would wear some.
Then his head perked up again.
"Why should I be exhausted?" he asked again. "All that is... Nothing out of the usual..."
Violet's lips curled into a sad smile.
Now she placed his whole hand into her palms.
"You work really hard, Lucifer."
He tried a cheeky smirk. "Words of flattery won't be enough to convince..."
But Lucifer's voice trailed off.
One could even debate that his mouth fell open just a slight bit, seeing the look Violet gave him.
So warm that it truly caught him off guard...
As if admitting his defeat, Lucifer went silent.
He enjoyed how her thumb gently brushed over his hand for a while as he was taking breaths of the fresh midnight air.
Violet was patiently waiting for him until eventually, he would speak up again.
"Aren't you cold?" Lucifer asked. "Your human body surely isn't used to the temperatures of Devildom nights..."
"Huh? No, I'm fine, don't worry about me."
"Oh, surely you are..." The teasing tone in his voice was back. "And I'm sure your outfit is only helping, isn't it~?"
He shot Violet some obvious glances, leading her to instinctively cover her body in a blush.
"Like you're one to talk...!" she mumbled.
"You got me there..." he chuckled. "I would lend you a jacket if I had one, but..."
Lucifer silently gestured at the arm sleeves, shrugging in a manner of "nothin doin".
He got a laugh out of her, and his relief immediately showed on his face.
"Your smiling face will have to keep me warm, then" he said.
Violet's smile turned into a blush immediately.
"Oh~?", he smirked. "A blush is fine as well, thank you~"
Struggling, Violet turned away slightly, trying not to embarrass herself even more.
Then, she felt arms being wrapped around her.
"However, I fear I have to take responsibility for keeping you warm as well..." he murmured close to her ear. "After all, it is my fault you have to sit here..."
The girl turned, and wrapping her arms around him as well, nuzzled her face into his warm skin.
"It's not your fault", she replied softly. "I chose to come and find you."
"... I still don't understand why."
"I told you" Violet smiled. "There's nothing wrong with taking a break from time to time. And if I, in any way, can help you with that, I'd love to do so."
She heard him breathe softly as he was searching for a response.
"... Thank you", he decided to say.
She squeezed him tightly. "You're welcome."
"...Stay like this for a little longer" Lucifer asked of her when it felt as if Violet was trying to pull away.
Of course, she agreed, and so they relaxed into each other’s embrace for a little longer.
Without meaning to, over time Violet's arms were sliding down his body a little, just enough to accidentally brush over something fluffy with her fingertip.
But, oh well, who would even mind gathering points for some silly game when there was something -- or rather, someone else to focus on...
---------------------------
They only parted after Lucifer's phone pulled them back into reality.
Sighing, he announced the end of their break.
"I'm glad we are closing soon..." he mumbled and helped Violet stand up. "Although, cleaning the place will probably leave us with another hour of work until we finally get to head home..."
"It will be exhausting… But we'll power through it" Violet assured, squishing his hand in encouragement.
"Yes..." Lucifer nodded.
Then, he pulled her closer one last time, wrapping one arm around her waist while looking down into her eyes.
"However... I would much appreciate it if we could keep our break a secret."
"Uhm..." the girl blinked, confused. "Sure, but may I ask why?"
"No reason in particular... I would simply ask that as a personal favour."
Then, he leaned in closer. Resting his chin on her shoulder, his hand reached to her lower back.
And Violet gave a gasp as she felt how he provocatively played with her bunny tail.
"In return, I will keep your secrets safe, too."
He pulled back, responding to her dazzled expression with a sly smirk, before passing her to open the door.
-------------------------
Being the gentleman he was, Lucifer held the door open, smiling at the lady as he gestured her to step inside.
"Thank y..." Violet was about to say,
Then both of them looked inside the kitchen.
Beel stood there, together with Clover, both giggling as they snacked on some sweets.
Violet wanted to smile at the sight… But the "shit, we got caught" expression on both of their faces, paired with Lucifer's tangible anger, made her frown instead.
"... Oops" Clover and Beel pressed out, simultaneously letting go of the meringues they had in their hands.
-----------------------
To understand how that situation came to existence, we should go back in time to take a look at Clover's side of the story.
She was cleaning the tables when yet another giggle pulled her out of her thoughts.
The girl felt tired, and had started to count down the minutes left until she could finally go home.
She was really done with life. And those certain giggles made it only worse. She would admit that she wasn't good with things like jealousy.
She just couldn't deal with it.
Not in a way like Mammon, for example, was expressing his tsundere feelings.
No, her way of coping was more... Self hating (like Levi I guess),
And hearing for yet another time how some hot demon girls called a certain waiter over to them drove her insane.
"Do you want to try my cake, Beel~?"
Clover flinched.
She peeked up to see how a demon caressed Beel's arm as she waited for his answer to her question.
Clover couldn't see his face, but, judging from his tone, he was wearing his usual frown.
"... I'm not allowed to eat the food we serve..."
"Oh, don't be like that..." The demon responded, loading some cake onto her fork. "It's my cake now, so I decide who gets to eat it. And I really want yooouuuu..."
She stopped, then one of her friends giggled.
"Are you going to finish that sentence?"
"It's already finished", she purred, seductively winking at Beel before leading the fork up to his face.
Beel was hesitating, for two whole seconds, before chomping down on both, cake and fork.
"Oh... Not again..." He mumbled.
The girls gave a giggle.
"Beel, you're such a beast!" The main (bitch) demon hummed. "That's no good, though... I wanted to feed you another bite, but how, without fork...?"
"Guess you´ll have to do mouth to mouth feeding...", Another chick chuckled.
And as the demon girl stood up to do exactly that, Clover stomped away impulsively.
In her fury, she didn't notice how someone was calling for her. She targeted the table in the most opposite corner possible as someone pulled her arm.
Belphie was staring at her, holding her by her wrist.
"... You're pathetic" he said.
"Thank you, tell me something I don't know yet." Clover pulled her arm out of his grip. "And, what, you've got nothing better to do then watch me be pathetic?"
Belphie blinked in surprise. “I would usually agree that it´s pretty funny to watch you get angry, but I´ve seen you be like this all night. What´s getting you this agitated?”
A deep frown spread on her face, but Clover didn´t answer. So Belphie looked back to Beel.
“Is it because of the succubi? Because of Beel?”
“… Please, leave me alone…”
She didn’t see his worried expression as Belphie was trying to figure the answer to his question.
“… Are you really this insecure?” He finally decided to ask.
As her only response was a short side glare with wet eyes, Belphie understood she wouldn´t talk about it.
“Really… Both of you can be such a pain to deal with…” Belphie breathed before leaving Clover alone.
And Clover felt even worse now.
Not only being so horrible inside, but Belphie tried to help her and she rejected it.
She fought tears as she furiously wiped the already clean table.
Pathetic. Yes, she was so pathetic. Honestly, Beel was probably in better company with those succubi than with an idiotic, childish human like her-
Clover got lifted off of the ground.
Squealing, she noticed too late how arms had wrapped around her thighs, leading her to now flail in the air in panic.
"Wh-what?!" Clover panicked.
"It's time for a break" She felt the culprit cheering into her back.
"... Beel?"
Beelzebub began to head through the local, the girl still in his arms.
"Let's go to the kitchen" he said. "Belphie just told you need a break, and I need your help with something..."
Clover gave some more confused noises, but it was impossible to move in the demon's grip anyway.
"O-okay, but... You don't have to carry me, I'm probably heavy..."
She felt him chuckle. "Heavy? I can carry you with one arm. Look!"
He stretched out his right arm to demonstrate. Beel led them into the kitchen.
The local wasn't serving any food at this late hour, so they appeared to be alone here.
"U-uhm... Beel, are you going to put me down somewhen soon, or...?"
"Yeah, soon..." he mumbled, then walked up to one of the shelves hanging on the wall. "Do you perhaps see anything on top of the shelf?"
Clover tilted her head.
"Yeah, there's a box of... What's that...? Meringues?"
Absolutely delicious meringues!"
Clover gave a little chuckle at the excitement in his voice, but her expression did a full turn when she saw the note attached to the box:
'BEEL. DO NOT EAT.'
"Could you get them for me?" Beel smiled innocently.
The girl hesitated, so Beel asked again. "Please, I can't reach them alone. The shelf is up too high."
"Well... I'm guessing someone hid them there on purpose..."
"Please, Clover... I'm so hungry..."
But as he realised she wasn't going to hand him the box that easily, he let her down to rest on the counter they had been standing in front of.
"Beel, I know you're hungry, but..." she began, however halted as she noticed how terribly tired he looked.“... Are you okay?"
The demon gave a little sigh. "No... I'm exhausted... Not like after training, but just... drained." He leaned against the counter next to her. "What about you? Aren't you tired? Have the customers been nice to you?"
"Huh? Yeah, they have."
"Good" he nodded. "We were afraid that some of the guests might harass you or Violet, but I guess Lucifer's official warning was enough to scare them off..."
Clover fiddled with her fingers.
"There was no need to worry, though. I don't think anyone would have approached us… or me, at least" she said, laughing awkwardly. "I don't have a fair share of people crushing on me like you, hahaha..."
Beel looked at her. "Good. You don't need any demons trying to seduce you. I wouldn't want you to go through a hassle like this..."
"... You don't like the attention?"
He shrugged. "Not really... But I have to be nice to them, so I tend to just ignore what they say. I won't say no to free food or extra money, but... I don't really see why they behave like this."
Clover chuckled, feeling relief at his words.
"Diavolo already said it... Good-looking staff makes more profit."
Beel blinked at her, processing her words. "... Thank you."
"Nothing to thank me for" Clover smiled shyly.
He went silent.
"No... No, there is", Beel then suddenly said, pushing himself off the counter to stand in front of her again. "I've been hit on the whole evening, but... somehow, it feels nice if you're the one to compliment me... You always make me feel nice inside. And for that, I should thank you."
He blessed her with a smile that, obviously, was directly followed by the girls' heart exploding in the love she felt for this man.
However, he still gave off odd vibes.
"...Beel?" Clover called out, seeing how he was deeply contemplating something.
"I was thinking of thanking you with some... Meringues" his smile widened.
"... Beel."
"They're supposed to be delicious! I could feed them to you... If I manage to contain myself. But I'd try really hard, because it´s for you.”
"Beel..." Clover sighed, watching as his puppy grin spread on his face more and more.
"Wouldn't that be nice to feed each other a nice treat...?" he changed into begging puppy eyes.
They stared at each other.
"Beel."
"Clover?"
"We both know you have wings, or could have simply climbed onto the counter if you wanted to get those sweets."
"... But I wanted to share them with you...?"
"We also both know how Lucifer tends to cast spells on the things that you are absolutely not allowed to eat. But those tend to apply to demons only most of the time."
Beelzebub went silent.
"What was that earlier?” Clover continued. “About you not wanting me to be lured by demons? And now, I find myself sweet-talked like this?"
His face had ultimately changed into sulking puppy mode.
"... But I... I'm... I really mean what I said…"
Clover crossed her arms.
"You're a sly demon, mister" she scolded. "And to think you'd take advantage of me like this...!" She fake cried in disbelief.
"I'm sorry..." he pouted.
Silence came over them, in which Clover fully knew that he was thinking of both, how to make it up to her AND how to achieve his goal anyway.
His idea surprised her, though.
"... Want to touch my bunny tail?"
"... Huh?"
"I've seen you and Violet do this to the others" Beel said. "I don't why, but you seemed to have fun, so..." He turned around to expose his tail. "AND I'll treat you with some of the meringues, of course", he added as he noticed Clover was seriously considering his offer.
Clover was grunting something. "Lucifer will kill us", she said.
"He doesn't have to find out."
"... You're evil..."
"Well, I AM a demon, after all" Beel laughed.
And as he teasingly wiggled his tail at her, Clover gave in to the temptation...
------------------------
"Beel... Clover... Would you care to explain what I have to look at right now...?"
Lucifer crossed his arms as he spoke.
Yeah, they were SO screwed.
"... Uhm..." Beel started to mumble while Clover felt her stomach turn in guilt.
"Beel" Lucifer called out again. "Could those be the meringues that I have personally bought and reserved for me to enjoy after work?"
"... There was no name written on it" the avatar of Gluttony said.
Lucifer pierced him with an angry stare. Then he turned towards Clover.
"And you" his tone had the girl shiver visibly. "Demons were unable to touch that box. Hence, I assume it was you who got them? AND ate them, as well?"
"I forced her to do it" Beel immediately chimed in.
"Huh?” Clover blinked in surprise. "Beel, no... I got them! And asked Beel to try them with me. It's my f-fault" she lied.
Now Beel was the one to look confused, and the two kind of drowned in a spiral of trying to protect the other one. But the ruckus only fueled Lucifer's displease.
Already stressed out, he felt like he was about to explode.
If not for Violet who kept him steady.
"Lucifer" she mumbled in a mellow voice, stroking over his arm in a calming gesture. "Don't stress yourself. They will buy you a new package."
Lucifer shot her about the same angered glare as he had done with the others, but softened as he mustered her comforting smile.
With a sigh, Lucifer stepped closer to Beel and Clover.
"... You are lucky to have Violet standing up for you..." he mumbled. "As compensation, I order three boxes of those meringues. Oh, and when we close the bar, do not expect to leave until everything is as tidy as can be."
"Y-yes, sir...!"
------------------------------
Slowly (very slowly I know) but steadily, the evening came to an end...
A lot has happened, way too much to fit into this... One shot... Story... * glances at the total approximate reading time of one hour*
...Well. Let's not talk about that...
A little after 4 AM, every last customer had left the bar/ had been carried out of the dancing hall (like, a few of the most drunk ones literally had to be yeeted out of the local.)
Now everything that was left was cleaning up the local.
Lucifer took it upon himself to punish all of his brothers - and Clover - for annoying him at some point during this event. So those appeared to have an extra load of work, while he pulled Violet aside with him for some more leisure cleaning.
Around five in the morning, it seemed like the bunny crew was finally finished.
"Alright..." Barbatos mumbled, stepping out of the last hall he needed to check. "It seems we are done. All that is left is to take out the trash as we go."
"... How are we supposed to take out the trash? Mammon is still tied to the ceiling" Belphie mumbled casually.
"WHO DID YOU JUST CALL TRASH?!" Some Mammon screamed from the staff's room.
Clover mustered them in amusement, when Violet walked up to her.
"Ooooh, Clooveerrrr...." the girl hummed in a rather... Scary tone.
"... I don't like the look on your face" Clover stated in growing fear.
"You know... We still need to see who's won the challenge" Violet grinned.
Clover crossed her arms. "... Do we really need to compare?"
"Yes."
"Uggghhh..." Clover frowned. She pulled out her phone:
-------
Clover: Lord Diavolo? May we ask how many points you have?
Diavolo: I managed to gather 12 points, fair and square. How many do you two have?
Violet: I have 20 points in total... Although I'm not 100% sure if Lucifer noticed me earlier...
Clover: ...
* Clover has left the chatroom *
------
"Violet, I don't want to do this."
Clover's friend mustered her with a smirk.
"Well..." Violet hummed. "I'm not forcing you, but... You did loose, after all..."
"Violeeet..."
"And look" she pointed at the hall in front of the dressing rooms. "He's standing there, alone, for some reason... It's fate, Clover."
Clover gave the ugliest growl.
But in the end she walked up to Solomon.
She didn't even know how to approach this. Should she try to make it sneaky, or just awkwardly ask?
Legs wobbly, Clover came to a stop behind the sorcerer, reaching out her hand in the same moment that he turned around to face her.
"Oh, hello", Solomon cheered. "Can I help you?"
She flinched backwards.
"Uuhhhh..."
Solomon gave her a confused look, but didn't get to say anything.
Coincidentally, Levi happened to walk up to them as well, wanting something from Solomon.
The human turned around as the two talked.
And finally…
Solomon's bunny tail got touched.
...
Clover escaped immediately. Avoiding any kind of interaction, at all costs.
----------------------------------------------------
The last thing to do before everyone could return home was getting dressed normally again.
And everyone felt so tired that they really just wanted to hit the hay, when...
A panicked scream rang out of the stall Clover was changing in.
"... Clover?" Violet called out, already dressed normally again.
The girl gave continuous panicked noises, pressed out random “What is happening-?!”´s.
Then, all of a sudden, silence came over them.
“Cl… Clover…?” Visibly concerned, Violet was standing in front of the stall´s door, unsure what to do. As she didn´t get an answer, she was trying to open the door, but it was locked.
She had to hurry to get someone to help, and as her face screamed “we have trouble”, most of her friends came to look what was going on.
Barbatos had to help open the stalls door, and when Violet carefully pushed it open…
They saw a small, brown bunny sitting on the floor.
Its green eyes were staring up into the countless pairs of puzzled eyes as they tried to understand the situation.
Violet was the first one to move again. She slowly lowered herself, reaching out to the animal.
“Is that you… Clover?”
“HUH?!”
Half of the people there stared at the girl in disbelief.
“You´re telling me THIS is CLOVER??” Mammon asked with big eyes. Violet had picked the bunny up and stepped out of the stall to get a better look at Clover.
“What happened to her?” Beel asked, worry spread over his face.
Bunny Clover seemed to understand their words. Or at least, she suddenly turned her fluffy head, staring directly at Solomon.
And, well, the sorcerer stared back, an amused smile on his face.
"Ah... So Clover DID touch my tail, after all!"
"... What."
The whole group was now demanding answers.
Solomon chuckled, placing his gaze on Violet now. "I was waiting until one of you would finally approach me and touch my tail... But oddly, none of you seemed to have interest in touching it... I thought I had made myself an easy target, but I must have made it too obvious..."
Violet´s mouth fell open a tad bit.
"... So you really knew of our challenge?" She dared to ask.
But Solomon would only continue to laugh.
"I honestly thought my efforts would go to waste..." He mustered the bunny in her arms. "Don't worry though, the spell will wear off eventually."
"Eventually??" Levi repeated.
"Yes, in a few days or so."
"WHAT?!"
---------------------
The whole way back to the house of Lamentation, Violet had to deal with this grumpy, pissed, simply angwy bunny in her arms. Clover couldn´t speak, but the little facial expression she could give said it all.
“Hey, Cloverrr…” Violet attempted to cheer her up. “Don´t look at me like that… It was fun, wasn´t it?”
Bunny Clover snuffled grumpily.
Yeah, yeah, she thought. It´s all fun and games until it´s about Solomon.
Meanwhile, Bunny Clover had to endure how the brothers kept poking her fluffy fur or took pictures of her.
If she could, Clover would have given a big sigh.
THIS is exactly why I don't trust Solomon... Never did, never will...

damie vibecca exes au pt 9
post directory
obsetress: ready ok ot4 hc incoming
em: ot4! ot4! ot4
obsetress: after dani breaks up with her viola cuts all her hair off n it's the first impulsive thing she's ever allowed herself to do in her whole life (which should also tell you exactly how fucked up she was by it) n so then we have
obsetress: short curly hair viola
em: what is wrong with you
em: oh i love a dramatic haircut as a motif
obsetress: by the time she and rebecca start hooking up it's grown into a long bob and she keeps that for a while tbh because like
obsetress: viola has impulses all the time but she either: suppresses them, or thinks about them and then does them to the point where they can no longer be considered impulsive
obsetress: vs um
obsetress: dani has impulses all the time and used to suppress them but then fully leaned into
obsetress: charging headfirst into whatever the fuck (vp speech ref sheds a tear)
em: OTP: dont you wanna go apeshitt
obsetress: and thinking about how people change u and rub off on u for the better even after they leave
obsetress: viola: wants to go apeshitt
obsetress: viola: thinks about going apeshitt, thinks about all the ways it would benefit her, thinks about how she would enjoy it even if it did not in any way benefit her
obsetress: viola: yes ok don't you wanna go apeshitt
em: no but i am i am thinking abt like. dani and viola as both sort of? dragged into being housewives and homemakers because Women n viola didn’t really have the power to change her situation (even if she got isabel out of it!) and dani actually managed to call it off
obsetress: YEAH
obsetress: grits teeth
obsetress: once again crying over very intentional very deliberate danvi parallels that no one else wants to talk about and i think even in this au right
obsetress: viola is socialized in such a specific space that this can very much still be true
obsetress: and i think like part of what draws her to dani is exactly that––that dani had the freedom to do that much sooner––but also she resents dani for exactly that too
obsetress: even when they're together, and that's the possession piece too
obsetress: i think a part of her thinks if she can't do it for herself she can have it for herself and that's close enough
obsetress: like she v much covets dani
em: ah the unique way that lesbians fuck each other up bc of living in a homophobic and misogynistic society
em:i mean who doesn’t covet danis ass
obsetress: literally and metaphorically
obsetress: and part of dani definitely knows that but part of dani (at least until she doesn't) likes it
obsetress: (also this is kinda what i was getting at w my insane lil pwp alfjadslf but i think it tracks here too)
obsetress: because she's like "well this is what it's supposed to be but it didn't work with eddie because i don't like men but now i'm with a woman and this is how it's supposed to be"
obsetress: "and i like being wanted it's nice to be wanted by someone i want for once"
obsetress: but yeah thinking a lot about the danvi dynamic once again
obsetress: viola short curly hair to viola long bob
obsetress: YEAH I JSUT
obsetress: WENT TO HER INSTA TO FIND
obsetress: AND THEN GOT
obsetress: SO DISTRACTD
[em note: edited out a 30 minute tangent going through pictures from kates instagram]
obsetress: so anyway the whole point of this. long bob viola
obsetress: rebecca loves long bob viola she rly loves um. sitting on her lap and running her fingers back through her hair
obsetress: when she and dani see each other again for the first time dani's all "oh. you cut your... hair" and vi's like "i did" and dani's like "it, um. looks... it looks... good?"
em: i think it’s nice when viola does something for herself :)
obsetress: it's nice :)
obsetress: i'm happy for her :)
obsetress: wish she didn't have to look so much hotter though :)
obsetress: don't make that face, babe, it's fine :)
obsetress: you know i love you :)
em: WAIT
em: dani had a fucking moment. she’s like
obsetress: oh dani likes her girls w curly hair huh
em: counting on her fingers. how many ppl has she dated w
em: YEAH
obsetress: YEAHDLKFJSLDFDFJSLDFj
em: CURLY BROWN HAIR
obsetress: OH MGOD EDDIE TOO
obsetress: NOT JUST GIRLS
obsetress: aw baby has a type
em: so actually it is DANI who ends up w the strongest routine
em: just short bob hair viola sitting next to jamie and dani has a fuckjng. out of body experience. perceives herself a little too hard
obsetress: she's just. staring
obsetress: mouth def hanging open
obsetress: then someone's like "dani? dani?" and she's blinking like five times in a row and sitting up straight
obsetress: but she does def have that moment at brunch
em: jamie doesn’t twig it
em: violas like. violas got a keen eye for anyone ‘copying’ her style. raises one devastating eyebrow
obsetress: dani and vi devastating eyebrow partners n crime
obsetress: later that night, in bed: jamie?
jamie: wot?
dani: do i have a type?
obsetress: jamie immediately wants to jump to no because how could she have anything in common w––
obsetress: oh. oh
em: jamie’s lil wispy premature greys set her apart
em: ‘jamie HATES it when she has things in common w viola’ is my favourite bit sjddkhd
obsetress: jamie "not sure how viola has no greys n she's how much older than me again" taylor
em: dani realises she actually has. no idea how old viola is
em: barely even knows a birthday
em: maybe viola even has like. a decoy birthday
em: queen of being mysterious for the drama of it all
obsetress: "she's just too stubborn to grey is all" "i'm stubborn!" "mm" "wossat supposed to mean" "you're..." "i'm what" "you like to... pretend? you're stubborn" "pretend i'm–– i am!" "jamie, i asked you to repark the car because i didn't want to get out of bed and it's street cleaning day and you immediately jumped up to do it even though you can barely parallel park"
em: WHIPPED
obsetress: jamie's quiet for a long time then, softly: "can parallel park just fine"
obsetress: "mm"
obsetress: whipped as hell
obsetress: this led me to everyone making dani or viola parallel park all the time when they go anywhere
obsetress: hc dani is a Very Good driver. idk why but it tickles me
em: i think um. dani is v independent and wants to be able to do things herself
em: and i think she probably got her license before eddie, but as soon as eddie got his....
obsetress: and dani's better than him n got a better score than him, and yet
em: and yet!
em: they swap out being deso driver if they’re gonna be drinking. or jsut call a taxi lmao
em: i’m so endeared by Extremely Good Driver Dani
em: dani does a reverse park without thinking
obsetress: viola loves her martinis n dani is drunk off of half a glass of sangria
obsetress: same!!!!!!!
obsetress: also just like. imagining
obsetress: dani checking all her mirrors
em: no
em: HANNAH
obsetress: and adjusting everything so fastidious
obsetress: OH GOD
obsetress: i didn't––
em: i jumped
em: phew it’s actually cute
obsetress: yeah! dw i'm not sick
em: well
obsetress: she just goes through her whole lil checklist and is so meticulous and precise
em: jamies like ‘we’re the same height’ and danis like ‘well.’
obsetress: oh god the four of them driving to the seaside for a vacation together (lots of content to mine here, will have to put a pin in most of it because i am getting sleepy) but they end up taking the truck much to vi’s chagrin just because it can hold the most
obsetress: (like viola doesn’t have a range rover but listen it needs to be dani n jamie’s car for this to work)
obsetress: and vi and rebecca are sitting in the back and then rebecca’s frowning and blinking and digging a headband out of the seat between them and viola immediately just. knows
obsetress: she’s like “dani?” “mm?” “you and jamie... have cleaned your car recently, right?” (jamie’s chiming in: “i’m right here, vi, you can address me too,” viola pointedly ignores her) “um... maybe a couple months ago? why?” “well,” and vi pokes her disdainfully with the headband, “can you at least tell me you’ve had it cleaned between whenever this got stuck between the seats and rebecca and me sitting here now?”
obsetress: dani just GRINS sheepishly
obsetress: “i could tell you that, but...” “but?” dani mumbles “it would be a lie”
obsetress: anyway dunno why vi’s that upset about having to sit in the backseat where dani n jamie hooked up, like, last week when it’s not like she and rebecca haven’t been inside the two of them respectively but it’s absolutely the kind of contrarian shit she’d choose to be pressed about and it makes me laugh so

➽───────❥ INTUITION ; CHAPTER TWO
katsuki bakugo x reader
word count: 1399
taglist: @00ashpop00
it seemed like you were the last one to enter the classroom. everyone had already begin to mingle and you defaulted to sitting toward the back where you hopefully wouldn’t be met with your intuition nagging you again.
you chose the seat in the second to back row toward the window. as you made your way there, you look up and see half and half. the one guy that had blown the recommendations entrance exam out of the water.
you were about to sit down when you heard it.
“sitting here won’t make a difference, the red headed kid will still try to talk to you,” you look up to the guy you knew it was talking about.
his hair was spiked up, probably having to do with his quirk. his eyes were wide and his grin was annoyingly addictive with sharp teeth to match. he went off yapping to one of his classmates next to you when he met your gaze. you turned it away immediately as he noticed and took your seat.
in front of you, broccoli boy was getting bullied by the red eyed blonde. the blonde had some sort of object in his hand-
“it’s going to hit you.”
it’s gonna wha-
there you had it the first day of school and shit was already being thrown at you. you didn’t even have time to get out of the shitty cramped desk when it hit you square in the forehead.
broccoli boy looked back at you in horror. “i am so sorry! please, forgive kaachan for being so rude!”
you shot up, slamming your hands on the table. “hey!” you barked at the blonde, steering clear of the now gawking blonde. “you think you can throw shit and get away with it, huh?” you snarl getting in the blonde’s face.
there was not one person in the classroom that wasn’t looking your direction. “you talking to me short-stack?” he rumbles back, clicking his tongue. “hell yeah, i am!” you cock your head to the side.
some guy in glasses had started to go off on the two of you, waving his right hand up and down as if he was directing traffic. “you, braindead blonde, i swear you want to get it! all i wanted to do is mind my own business but you’ve got to act like your the kind of the castle, huh?”
“fuck you call me? i’ll blast you to hell!”
you were going to bite back but your intuition per usual kicked in.
“falling in love with bakugo katsuki, isnt worth it. one of you will die in the end.” a quiet "what the fuck..." left your lips as you backed away. bakugo looked back at you in sheer confusion as he saw your eyes shrink from fear.
"you're not scared of me, are you?" he scoffs.
"not a bit... just you wait." you grit your teeth, shaking your head. you felt panic rise through your body. this guy? fall in love with this guy? that intuition definitely didn't have the odds in its favor. it was pulled straight out of its ass. it had to be bullshit.
"alright, alright, settle down before i have to myself," a voice droned as he entered the classroom. the teacher had finally arrived.
you had never seen such an unprofessional appearance in your life. this mop was going to be your homeroom teacher?
“the names, aizawa. i’m not going to waste any time now. i was already late as it is.” he then rummages under his desk and pulls out a huge bin of clothing. “when i call your name, please come up here and take your gym uniforms, we’ll be taking a quirk apprehension test.”
this caused a murmur to stir around the class, groans and moans of protests but aizawa merely just waved them off.
you kept to yourself as everyone just continued to complain, putting in one of your earbuds in one of your ears. “hey!” someone pokes you from the side. at first you just ignored them, how could someone want to talk to you after the exchange you shared with the other boy.
it was merely just so you would push away others. you were an asshole. you didn’t need these people in your way.
“hey, i know you can hear me!” you groan and look up toward the spiky red headed boy. “what?” you roll your eyes at him. he outstretched his hand to you. “i’m kirishima, what’s your name?” his smile- why was he smiling so wildly?
you stretched your hand out hesitantly, it was a matter of time for your quirk to tell you how useless it was to make friends but nothing happened.
you held onto his hand for an awkwardly longer time, staring at it the connection between you two. “(l/n),” you finally said. “(l/n), huh? what’s your quirk, you seem like a power type, am i right?”
you shook your head, “i have a more mental quirk. i can predict the future 99% of time time through a voice in my head.” you scratched the back of your neck. you felt so cramped up and stuff talking to him. “wow, that’s so cool! i’ve never met someone with such a unique quirk!” he was practically beaming and you had to squint your eyes a bit from the amount of bright light coming of this guy.
“how about you?” your voice cracks slightly making you cringe.
“hardening-“ he then raises his hand and it turns into almost stone, “it’s not as cool as your’s-“
“eijirou kirishima,” aizawa curs him off, calling him to the front. “sorry, got to cut this short. i’ll talk to you later, (l/n).”
you say there with your mouth slightly agape.
what the fuck just happened???
you were called up soon enough and the quirk apprehension gets started. as you were pulling your gym shirt over your head, you heard it.
“you’re not going to do well in the test,”
a fucking gain.
maybe this prediction was wrong. it had pulled that other prediction before that sounded almost unreal. maybe you could even evade the future? you had never done it before but there’s always a way.
but if you said that you got a good score was a complete lie.
“i got eighteenth...,” you whisper to yourself. i didn’t even scathe the top 15. this test was oriented completely toward physical quirks. “don’t worry, (l/n), you’ll do better next time. i believe in you!” kirishima says to you patting you on the back. “easy for you to say, you got in eighth place,” you murmured.
“all bark, no bite,” he grumbles behind you. “oh, shut up. you’re so full of yourself. i didn’t even use my quirk.” you snarl, restraining yourself from absolutely folding his ass and getting expelled.
“i expected better from someone who made it here with recommendations, (l/n),” aizawa says while passing by you which made bakugo laugh even harder. “you got in with reccomendations? and did that? are you kidding!”
“so what i wasn’t gifted with a physical quirk like you! you have no idea what my potential is! you’ll see when the festival comes around, you’ll get your ass handed!” you blurt out which you almost wish you didn’t. his face shifted almost immediately which made you hold back a frightened reaction.
“i’ll hold you to that,”
...
“a support item?” you repeat what isayama says. she nods. “your teacher, mr. aizawa also uses a support item. you have the assets for good combat but you just need that extra push so the admin is trying to work with you.”
you had been separated from the class and were put in a private training with isayama. the principal had given it the okay and since she had a teaching license you would pass with valid credits.
“i don’t even know why i got here if i’ll keep failing! i’m at the low end of the class.” you slump against the wall and hold your head in your hands.
“you need to stop comparing yourself to others. you’ll catch up eventually and there’s not way you won’t.” she knelt by you, “you’re quirk isn’t at it’s full potential yet. you’re only half way there. just try to think of your quirk as a part of you not as a separate entity.”

Can you write modern au clexa at a Halloween party. So our costumes match and my friend keeps telling me to come take a photo but oh shit you're hot
To say Clarke was pissed would be an understatement. Fall was her favorite season for so many reasons—being able to layer with cute sweaters, pumpkin spiced lattes, apple picking, and Halloween. She was pissed because for the first time, Raven actually beat her at beer pong. It was a weekly ritual in their apartment—everyone came over on Saturday nights and they’d play, watch movies, and just hang out.
Knowing that they were scoring an invite to Octavia’s new boyfriend’s Halloween party, Raven decided to up the ante and forced Clarke into a bet: winner got to choose the loser’s costume. The blonde, however, felt confident. She already had her costume all planned out: Stevie Nicks; she had gone to every vintage store in the city to find every piece she needed to complete her look. Raven’s never beat her, not once in the five years they had known each other, so she had nothing to worry about.
Or so she thought.
---
“You know what,” Clarke groaned as she buttoned her top button, “I don’t think I’m going to come anymore.”
“A bet’s a bet, Griff,” Raven laughed, “And if memory serves me correct, your costume will be fully complete once you have the accent.”
“I’m not doing the accent, Rae,” the blonde whined, “I’m not coming.”
“You’re definitely coming, we told O we’d go for moral support. Plus, if Lincoln’s friends are as hot as he is, maybe we’ll both score tonight,” Raven shrugged, finishing the final touches for her own costume.
Clarke rolled her eyes, “Well of course you’re going to meet someone, you’re dressed like a slutty Lara Croft.”
“It’s not slutty, Griff,” the brunette began to defend herself, “This is literally what she wore.”
“I look like I’m about to wrestle an alligator,” Clarke huffed, “no one’s even going to know who I am.”
Raven turned to smirk at her friend, “That’s what the accent’s for, babe. And the name tag.”
“Name tag?” Clarke turned around to face Raven but was met with the girl slapping a sticker across the front of her khaki jumpsuit: Bindi Irwin.
---
“I didn’t realize Clarke could do an Australian accent,” Octavia observed, as the blonde went over to get herself another drink.
“Me neither,” Raven laughed, “Honestly, I thought it would be embarrassing for her, but homegirl’s making it work in her favor.”
“Honestly,” Lincoln chimed into the conversation, “if I hadn’t met her before this, I would have thought she was actually from there.”
“I wonder if Griff would take me up on another game of beer pong, I have another bet in mind,” Raven said, eyes on the game set up across the room.
Octavia smacked her on the back of her head, “She’s already pissed about this bet, you idiot. Don’t make her more mad than she already is, I don’t want her leaving here.”
Lincoln laughed at his girlfriend, “Yeah, and the party’s just getting started. Don’t want her storming out just yet.”
---
“I can’t believe I’m wearing this,” Lexa murmured as they approached Lincoln’s front door.
Her older sister rolled her eyes, “It’s a Halloween party, Lex. You needed a costume. You’re welcome, by the way.”
“You want me to thank you for giving me your pajamas?” Lexa cocked a brow.
“Don’t be a little shit,” Anya nudged her, “You don’t have to stay long, Linc just wanted us to meet his girl, then you can take the damn thing off and go out to whatever thing it was you had tonight.”
“It wasn’t a thing,” Lexa rolled her eyes, “the bartender from the other week is working again and she was hot. You ruined it by getting too drunk because I had to take you home. I’m just working on my second shot.”
“Okay,” Anya said, finally opening the door, “so stay for an hour and then you can go and try to get laid.”
---
“Holy shit, who is that?” Raven asked, mouth agape as she stared at a female Indiana Jones talking to Lincoln and Octavia.
Clarke looked where Raven’s eyes were already drawn to, “I dunno, mate, but she looks like Indiana Jones.”
“Clarke,” Raven smiled, turning her attention to her friend and putting her hand on her shoulder, “I am so glad you’re finally embracing the awesomeness of your costume.”
The blonde took a sip of her drink, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
“Would it be rude if I interrupted their conversation right now?” Raven asked, looking back in the direction of the other group, “I feel like I can get a proper intro this way.”
“Shoot your shot, Lara,” Clarke laughed.
Raven grabbed her arm, “Okay, well you’re coming with me.”
They made their way to the trio and Lincoln introduced them all. As soon as Anya took notice of Clarke’s nametag, she couldn’t help but laugh, “This is amazing. This is fucking amazing.”
Clarke arched a brow, “Oh?”
“Have you seen my sister around here?” Anya asked, trying to calm herself down.
“Ahn,” Lincoln started, “they just met you. How would they know who Lexa is?”
“Figured they would have recognized her, considering she’s matching Bindi over here,” Anya gestured towards the blonde.
Raven directed her attention to Anya, “Please tell me she’s dressed as Steve Irwin.”
“Nope,” the girl shook her head, “but you’ll know her when you see her. I’m going to go get a drink, anyone need anything?”
Raven looked at Clarke and mouthed, “This is it,” before telling Anya she’d accompany her.
As the two made their way to the bar cart, Anya was the one that broke the silence, “Lara Croft, huh?”
Raven looked the girl up and down, “Indiana Jones, huh?”
“A very bad joke could be made about our costumes right now,” Anya smirked as she poured herself a drink.
“Or a very good pick up line,” Raven offered.
“Try me.”
Raven was never one to back down from a challenge, “I know you raided the lost ark, but I’d raid your tomb any day.”
Without saying a word, Anya stepped out of the way so the other girl could make her drink of choice.
“So?” Raven asked, mixing her cocktail.
Anya raised a brow, “So what?”
“Did it work?” Raven asked, sipping her whiskey and soda.
“Hmm,” Anya brought her finger to her chin, “Yeah, I think it did. Find me for a dance later,” she winked then walked away.
Raven rushed to find Clarke—in her haste, she ran into what seemed to be a big green blanket, “Shit, sorry.”
The figure turned to face Raven, but their face was hidden in the depths of the overly large onesie, “No worries, though it’s kind of hard to miss me.”
“You must be Anya’s sister,” Raven pointed out, “the crocodile.”
“That I am,” the voice said, “on both accounts, I guess.”
“You should meet my friend,” Raven laughed, “your costumes go together weirdly well.”
“I’m heading out soon, but maybe I’ll catch them around,” the voice offered before walking away.
---
“Clarke,” Raven grabbed the blonde who was in the middle of a conversation with what seemed to be someone dressed up as Han Solo, “come with me.”
Clarke excused herself before turning her attention to Raven, “What the fuck, Rae?”
“I ran into Anya’s sister—Anya totally wants me, by the way, but that’s besides the point,” she let out in one breath, “You need to see her costume, I need a picture of you guys together.”
“What’s she dressed as?” Clarke asked, still unamused by the interruption.
“You’ll know when you see her,” Raven laughed, “I have an idea for a bet.”
“No. No way, Rae,” Clarke stepped back, “I’m not doing that with you again, look at where it got me.”
Raven grabbed her by the arms, “If she’s as hot as Anya, you’d totally thank me for this little get up of yours.”
“If?” Clarke questioned, “I thought you said you met her?”
“Well,” Raven shrugged, “I did, but I couldn’t see her face because of her-”
“Oh my God,” Clarke interrupted her, “is that a crocodile? Is that Anya’s sister?”
“Griff,” Raven pulled her attention back, “I will give you $50 if you jump on top of her and pretend to wrangle her.”
Clarke’s felt like her eyes were about to launch out of their sockets, “That’s assault, you psycho. I don’t even know her, I’m not doing that.”
“I don’t mean to interrupt,” Anya’s voice entered, “but my sister basically made a comment about wanting to be under a hot girl tonight. You can make her dreams come true.”
“I’m not doing this,” Clarke shook her head.
Raven reached into her pocket and pulled out cash, “C’mon, Griff. Pretty please. It’ll be the best Halloween memory we’ll ever have.”
“Yeah, until she realizes a strange is jumping her and punches me in the face,” Clarke quipped back.
Anya laughed, “She wouldn’t. I know her better than anyone, she’ll get a good laugh out of it once she sees your costume.”
The blonde looked between the two, before gulping down her drink, followed by Raven’s. She grabbed the cash her friend was dangling, “I’m probably going to regret this.”
Before she knew it, she was right behind the crocodile. She quietly crept closer, to be at a more favorable distance to make her $50 entrance. From her vantage point, the girl wasn’t holding anything that she would spill, and there wasn’t anyone directly in front of her that would get trampled on in case they fell. Clarke took a deep breath—it was now or never.
---
Lexa stood there checking her phone, she had almost been there for forty-five minutes, and wondered if that was an acceptable amount of time before she dashed out. As she began to walk forward, she heard a rather loud Australian voice call out from behind her.
“G’day, little croc!”
Before she knew it, she was face down on the ground with the weight of a body sitting on top of her. “Oof,” and a loud groan was all she could muster out.
The voice spoke up again, “Didn’t know I’d get me a live one today, mate.”
The weight finally lifted off of her and a set of arms pulled her back to her feet. She took the hood of the onesie off her head to get a better look at the situation, but saw that it was her sister that pulled her up, “What the fuck was that, Ahn?”
Anya couldn’t control her laughter, as she pointed behind where Lexa was standing. She took the cue to turn around and was met with Clarke’s bashful grin.
“They made me do it,” was all the blonde could get out. Raven was right, and Clarke made a mental note to thank her friend for forcing her into the outfit because this girl was the most attractive crocodile she had ever seen, “I’m Clarke, but you can call me ‘Bindi.’”
“Ah,” Lexa said, examining the girl, “I see how this makes sense, now. I’m Lexa, by the way, but I guess you can call me ‘crocodile.’”
Raven looked between the two who seemed to be staring at each other, “Just to be clear, no one made her do anything. I bet her $50 and she took it fair and square.”
“$50, huh?” Lexa asked, eyes still locked on the blonde’s.
Clarke smirked, “Want to split the winnings for your troubles?”
“Or we can get out of here and you can buy me a drink?”
“Deal,” Clarke put out her hand.
Lexa took her hand to shake it, “One question, though. Is the accent real?”
Clarke shrugged, “It can be if you want it to be.”

The Scarlett Hero
Chapter 2: I think i'm going to kill People
Masterlist
Disclamer: This was originally written for an OC but for tumblr I made it x reader
Aizawa had us do some tests threatening that if one of yall got the lowest score that we would be expelled. You weren't scared, You took this time to observe how powerful these kids' quirks are maybe, you'll have competition.
Most of them need a lot of training. You'd be surprised if some of them are in the top 10 heroes after they graduate. Their quirks would be better off if they have partners. There were only 3 people's quirks that interested you that you think might observe more. The boy from earlier his name was Izuku. He looked quite weak. He was in the bottom of the class currently, his quirk released a lot of power but his bones kept breaking. If he got more training his problem would be fixed. Bakugou Katsuki the name caught your attention to begin with remembering earlier that girl who yelled at him but also the name Bakugou reminded you of the designers, his quirk in itself if top 10 hero material and he already had control of it, if only he would keep his mouth shut. He's so cocky, and you knew cocky. That's how people described you. Then that girl, her name was Yukimori Kiyoko, she's basically a dragon that would explain the scales on her face.
“Hey Sho.” You elbowed him while he was looking at the girl in the sky who grew dragon like feet jumping into the air.
“What.” His eyes pulled away looking down at you, you always hated being shorter than him. He used your head as an arm stan being Y/h had been your only downfall.
“I think you've met your match.” He looked at you confused. You looked over at the girl who had finally landed causing the ground to shake going over to Bakugou.
“I mean, look at her face Baka she has scales where your scar is. Awe yall were made for each other.” He used his left side to burn your arm slightly. You let out a laugh a little too loud pulling everyone's attention. The girl with the dragon quirk as she called it, made eye contact with you and walking over slowly, The blonde had tried holding her back she overpowered him
“Do you have a problem with me psychic witch?!” She began storming over so you decided to meet her half way. Her nickname oh so original you've heard worse from t.v shows.
“No I don’t think I do, do you have a problem lizard bitch?” You looked her up and down her stans showed that she was ready for a fight.
“What was so funny huh? Do you want a fight or something? Cause I will fight you.” She growled. Oh she probably saw me laugh when you were talking to Shoto.
“I was laughing with a friend? Is that a bad thing?” You knew you weren't coming off the best right now but you hated people assuming shit about you.
“Yoko-san stop!” He held her trying to get her not to lunge at you
“Awe Yoko is cute, can I call you Yoko-chan?” You laughed , it's a cute name. She bared her teeth ready to lunge at you. You wouldn't mind a fight, maybe test out how powerful this girl really is. You lunged at her but Shoto held you back. You looked back at him, smirking then walking out of his grip.
Her speed took you by surprise slamming you against the wall. It took you by surprise you got a couple hits before being hit (Enji aint raise no biss) but still overwhelmed. Her hand tuned into a claw shoving you to the ground, before even getting to use my quirk she lifted you off the ground.
“Wanna see a magic trick.” What the hell is this bitch going on about? Before you realized you were lifted off the ground looking up at her she sprouted wings. You couldn't get out of her grip it was tight enough but we were too far off the ground. She brought her face closer to yours.
“Oops.” Your body began falling and the anger you felt over took you sending red hue above the courtyard sending a strong gust of wind to those below. Your body began to hover above the ground meeting face to face with the lizard girl.
“Oh gosh there in for it.” You heard Shoto say below to someone.
“Yoko was it, that's what your little friend called you.” Your telekinesis dragged her closer to you. You didn't give her the time to try to get out of your grip, before sending her into the same wall she put you into. You were seething but happy at the same time. You liked that now you might have competition at this school but that won't stop you from using your power when warented.
“If you two don’t quit fighting I will put you both in detention.” You saw Aizawa had woken up from his nap.
You looked down at the crowd rolling your eyes letting her out of your grip. You couldn't risk being embarrassed for getting detention for going too far on your first day, you wouldn't hear the end of it from uncle and your parents.
You floated down, back facing the lizard freak, face facing Shoto, he had seemed to be talking to her friends and when the fight was over walked over to you.
“Maybe you're the one who’s met their match.” Shoto said laughing at you. You punched his arm in a sore spot where he accidentally burned himself when he was younger making him wense.
“Okay so there are two plans. Either we become friends and you’re on my side or we’re rivals and I watch my back and I don't like having to watch my back.” He nodded. Turning around making your way towards her.
“Not bad. You're really strong. You're the only other person other than Shoto that I have fought against that’s given me a run for my money.” You smirked but she didn't seem amused. Probably upset we didn't finish.
“Okay listen...Yoko was it?” You knew her name, just liked pushing buttons.
“It’s Kiyoko….” She's so cold it must be that blood of hers.
“Okay Kiyoko ,love the positive attitude” rolling your eyes you're actually trying here.
“Like I told my friend here, I have either two options here, either we become rivals and just have to watch our back for the other, or we become friends. What do you say?” extending your hand out, she looked down at it, not like she didn't know what to do. She turned around looking at the blonde who was behind her. Does she seriously not know what to do? Looking at the guy behind her he mouthed something to her. She turned back around sighing taking it
“Fine lets be friends. It might work out better this way”
When time came and scores were pinned you were placed second under Shoto. We just nodded expecting the results even under the circumstances of earlier.
When we started walking over to the classroom Blonde Bakugou walked over to you casually with Yoko waiting for him ahead.
“When we train you and me train together.” He more demanded than ask. He began walking away before you even spoke.
“Are you asking me or telling me.” He stopped mid step.
“I'm telling you dumbass!” You liked his attitude a little pushy though but from what you remember he was yelling something about how he was going to be number one. Even if he's powerful he could possibly surpass Shoto or me with more training, he's determined.
“We’ll see blonde.” You walked off with Shoto leaving him dumb founded. I suppose no one has ever told him that.
