In a career full of incredible songs, “Into My Arms” may be one of Nick Cave’s best. Released in January 1997 as the first single for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ tenth studio album, The Boatman’s Call, the song was voted as Cave’s second best song by Mojo magazine in 2023. A plain-spoken and devastatingly emotional song, written while he was in rehab, it has been covered multiple times, and Cave performed the song at the funeral of his friend Michael Hutchence of INXS.
