So I've been working on a "project" (aka: hyperfixation) for the past couple months, which is basically transforming my basic-ass balcony into a screened-in porch that you can't see into from the outside. It's still a work in progress, but now I've got some hanging plants (including one in a disco ball) and I love it so far
#the blue screen is just one of those tarps that are used to cover bushes to shade them from the sun#but it blocks 70% of sunlight without being really dark#i got the lattice boards at home depot for like 20 bucks#and i got a big fake grass rug#and the plant hangers and pots from amazon for $20#i think in total ive spent about $200 so far#plus its completely enclosed so the cat can hang out there all day if he wants
