Hi. Possibly insane question. In your hobonichi journal do you use fountain pens or dip pens with inks. If so: what inks/pens. I'm a pen freak and I love the way your doodles look

not insane at all! i use mostly fountain pens (fellow pen freak). if you're referring to those on cinema drawings or anything else drawn with thick lines in blue ink that's most likely a lamy safari with a broad nib and proprietary lamy cartridges. i really like them, they're affordable durable pens and the ink colors for their carts are gorgeous

a lot of my recent journal is with a hand ground stub nib an artist i know made as a test out of a five below pen body. its my absolute favorite pen ever tho sadly i cant really direct you anywhere to get one. i use very cheap pelikan carts for it which are fine. im lazy so i like carts
