Wonderful wonderful wonderful, loved the plot, loved the art. Giselle is majestic and fierce and unapologetic and doesn't take shit from anyone and I love her for that. Isaac is also a very nice character, not as faceted as Giselle but equally sweet and lovable. I also loved the other secondary characters and how their stories unfolded along with the main plot.

All the women depicted here are strong in their own way and the men don't stand a chance against them, from the servants to the lover,, they're all unique and filled with determination to reache their goals.

BUT, MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD,

(my advice: stop reading at chapter 57)

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING!!! It looks like the author got bored with it and just threw it away! There was Kit, Blue and Anne love story to develop, the blonde guy (forgot his name) backstory and we were just getting started on the worldbuilding and how the vampirism works!! Why!!!

Also: Giselle now can stay out in the sun whiteout passing out or dying (did they find a cure?? Did she found the letter??? We don'T KNOW) and she shoot her lover?? She was going to give her life to him but because he's a serial killer (and she already knows he killed people before but she forgave him for them) she kills him?? Cold blooded??? Absurd. I don't get how the author just threw such a shit ending to such a good story! They could've just enjoyed the rainbow together, I would've been satisfied with a double suicide maybe??? Not. That.

And Roxy just took the money and run??? Where did she go?? Who is the guy she keeps around??? What?????

On another note, the smut was really good: I like vampires, blood and bites in hot scenes and the author did a great job depicting them. Also Giselle is a hottie, she's so beautiful and cute. So overall an 8/10, could've been even more bites.

Honorable mention: Kit is also hot, would've love to see more of him IF THE AUTHOR DIDN'T GIVE UP

hellebore babysits the century x fry x kami x roxanne kids. due to this her influence has been put on the kids (poppy is into theater, cedar is sometimes terrifying, and ivy is... ivy)

just like enya and aiden, sherbet (stella x sapphire) is an artificial kid mad by cyrus' cell experiments. as cyrus had managed to nearly perfect the experiement, sherbet was only born on the 3rd attempt rather than the countless ones for enya and aiden.

apollo and cyrus live w/ bow and yanny in a three person bedroom apartment. bow and yanny used to share a room but yanny proved to be too much for bow so they just moved to the basement. free room for enya though!
