Fortunately for Hinoka, the gunshot wound suffered by Jaxon appears to actually be less serious than many arrow wounds she has seen in her life. Possibly as a result of lacking an arrowhead that would have to be pulled out of it, risking more injury in the process.

“Alright, and... like that.” She makes one last adjustment to the sling she had made for the man’s hurting arm, ensuring it is resting at a comfortable angle. “Just don’t move it much, and it should hopef—”

Ahem, as she was saying,

“... be able. to. rest — hold on,” she interrupts herself, raising her hand with a finger pointing out, as if already prepared to interrupt any shouting or signs of panic from the patients. “Everyone stay calm. I’ve got this,” she assures, weapon already reattached to her belt. “Remain here and don’t panic. I will check what’s going on.”

Or at least that’s what she said, but even everything she’s seen in this strange world up until now could not truly prepare her for the sight that meets her once she steps outside. The results of the earth-shaking explosion they had heard hang in the sky in the form of black smoke that prompts her to cover her face at first; and from said black smoke suddenly emerges whatever the fuck that is, a giant... mechanical... something that lands in front of the ambulance. Though not particularly religious, Hinoka in her mind utters a quick prayer to the Dawn Dragon just in case, but perhaps that was not necessary; through some kind of speaker, seemingly, the thing speaks of a need for medical assistance...

“Y—You’ve got someone injured?! Hang on—” but before she can gather her thoughts properly to assess the everything going on, movement in the corner of her eye catches her attention next, and she turns her head to see Sasha and the others running towards her.
