Your tags on that Jezri post got me wondering - how much do you think Kira suffered during the inevitable messy Jezri breakup? Because they'd both be going to her, right, to lay out their sorrows/get advice/sob miserably into an overly large glass of springwine? But I can't imagine her patience holding out for the length of time it could take Julian and Ezri to get their act together 😅

If Ezri's primary coping mechanism is fucking people Jadzia was attracted to, I can't not see Ezri coming onto her while drunk. Kira is also drunk in this situation so is into it until she sobers up enough for her Catholic Bajoran guilt to kick in and she has a full breakdown as well. Primarily because she feels bad for Julian.

Then Julian does something to piss her off enough that she does it again. This establishes an even messier pattern of behaviour in which jezri has sad sex, Kira gets mad and Ezri feels bad so they fuck and then they both feel bad for Julian until Jezri fuck again. This occurs enough times that Garak is considering coming to the station just to talk some sense into the three of them. I imagine this occurs sometime after Julian and Kira have a really weird drunk kiss that sends them both into an even worse spiral so Kira writes to garak and explain the situation.
