sometimes you look at your self-indulgent projects and know, that if it had notoriety there is a non-zero chance this would spawn THE worst fandom
#but like in a really stupid way. cause it wouldn't be anything serious I bet it'd be “this child was too mean they're toxic”#“this trans narrative wasn't clearly established in a perfect little box enough”#I haven't got much fleshed out to expand any upon “what if four swords links had feelings” but basically they're 4 kids#spawned from an elemental object that split into sapient anthropomorphic forms. they're essentially blank slate clone siblings#colour coded by hair and outfit (four swords insp haha): red green dark blue black#and you know they're kids with almost no guidance so like in any story their conflict is messy & not always the nicest#the basic framing is a standard coming-of-age narrative focusing mostly on their developing identities (including gender)#I think of this and go haha I should write and draw the kind of story 15-20 me would have greatly enjoyed#but if I can't just see the drama that'd happen over this in a produced work LMAO
