An Introduction & Invitation

Hello everyone:D this blog is intended as a Papa Emeritus III (ghost bc) rp/ask/ general HC fun blog!

Minors please be aware that this place is intended to be 18+

NOTICE: the information ahead may not be cannon to ghost lore as this is purely interpretation done for fun.

Information compiled from excerpts of interviews Papa Emeritus III as well as the dutiful research of various clergy members.

Wouldn’t it be boring if I just told you?

The church has records of various names Papa Emeritus III has used over time, at this point pinning down specifics is incredibly difficult as he has grown fond of making some sort of game out of this uncertainty. As such it is your best bet to use his title unless given special rights to any names. That said, your excellency will also typically get a response from him, if you can stomach it. Feel free to call him whatever though, someone ought to piss him off every now and then.

Gender:

Life is long and filled with many trials, is this really an important thing for us to focus on?

Reports from a ghoul (who will remain unnamed) say that Papa Emeritus III could best be described as Agender, though he himself does not seem to fully care for a label. The current use of He/Him pronouns is apparently done purely out of ease. Any further exact details are hard to confirm or debunk.

Age:

Wouldn’t you like to know, weather ghoul.

We can assume Papa Emeritus III is approximately somewhere in his 60’s if not older. Tragically, due to a series of fires within church grounds in the mid 80’s many early records of his existence have been erased. Efforts to contact individuals who may have leads in filling out this missing chunk of important history have gone poorly.

Brief history:

To summarize, as Papa Emeritus III’s self published memoir is both extremely edited, filled with pages of rambling, and often apocryphal with many of the stories provided. [REDACTED], presumed bastard son of Papa Nihil and [REDACTED] was born during a period where it was typical for clergy children to be raised mostly communally. At this point in time his connection to the bloodline was not clear as certain traits indicative of it had not yet manifested. As such he was given typical treatment and education by church standards at the time. Though it is noted that he has consistently flourished in the studies of various magics. (It is theorized that at the peak of his reign as Papa he was able to melt into shadow, make stones bleed, and often had an aura that could cause individuals to weep at his sight alone. Confirmation about these claims are still pending and may be exaggerated.)

During his early adulthood Papa Emeritus III spent a good portion of time studying abroad. Much of this was with various unnamed covens, though we do have at least two known incidents in which he managed to falsify acceptance papers into different colleges, earning himself a degree in art history in at least one of those ventures.

Upon his return reports indicate the development of summoner’s eye (the discolouration of an eye, typically the left, seen in individuals who have summoned a demon; ghoul or other) we cannot source who or what specifically, why the summoning occurred, or if it was even successful. Papa did not speak of this event in his memoir. Shortly after this the powers that be showed increased interest in him, encouraging furthering his knowledge of church teaching and rites. (This may be because summoner’s eye is frequently occurring within members of The Bloodline as it is theorized that they have a tendency to produce more indedental summoning than the average individual. At the very least we know that where you find someone of The Bloodline, you will frequently find numerous ghouls, regardless of if they are within church reach.)

Papa Emeritus III was promoted in 2013 serving the church dutifully in his task of expanding the clergy and performing rituals across the globe up until his retirement in 2017.

Note: more information may be revealed through rp or questions sent. Additional lore updates will be catalogued.

After death..

While most interactions with Papa Would likely occur before his untimely demise, there are still opportunities to experience him!

It may be possible for Papa to potentially inhabit his old body.. or another suitable corpse, if given the right encouragement. Though these ventures are extremely energy extensive and must be done sparingly or else their durations would be extremely short.

Those who have a personal connection with Papa would be able to see and speak to his spirit, though this connection may be weaker the looser the connection was in life.

There may be other ways to contact the dead… if you don’t mind the risks.

The Author & The Rules

The guy running this is 24+ and would, for the most part, like to keep things relaxed and fun! It’s all hcs and rp of a silly band and would like to keep things fun. If you dislike any hcs present on this blog please at least be respectful. <:)

an animal carcass is dropped in the woods outside where a ghoulette stood covered in blood dragging the deer through the terrain feeling as though she was being watched, she was short but not shorter than 5’6. She was decently built well defined muscles in her arms and legs.

Lavis immediately smelt the blood as he was roaming around.

His tail dragged behind him as he crawled on all 6ths towards the smell of blood, wounded animal, and 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣. He was twitching and shaking a whole bunch as he did though.

Lavis spotted the ghoulette and glared at her, ready to pounce or turn into a 7'6 centipede if needed. His eyes were shining very bright in the darkness.

Despite not having any skin, he did have a very strong muscle anatomy that was very obvious.

~ So what I have gotten from the music video is, obviously, Perpy is a horny bastard.

But all jokes aside, I also get that he is of original faith, and deeply so. He was shameful of his temptations and his sins, he wanted God to save him at first.

But rather than being shown the path to forgiveness, he was outcasted, treated like a demon. Maybe because he is possessed? That's what Corinthians 6:19 seems to suggest as well as some of the lyrics.

In the end, he ultimately decides that if the church he loves so much will hurt him, then he can't be whole with God. So he embraces what he feels so shameful for. His sins. And he becomes whole.
