So... Watch Dogs Fandom, you guys remember this post, right?
Well... I did a thing. Introducing to you all:
Madonudenu Connor Pearce & Eileen Zuhrah Pearce
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The children of Aiden Pearce and Morowa Bancroft 🏃🏽‍♀️🤸🏽‍♀️✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The twins were born around the year 2015, after their parents teamed up together in New York City to hunt down the Crime Families and exposed the corruption that ruled the city. After the discovery of the partnership of Blume and Abstergo, Morowa and Aiden part ways to continue their goals: Aiden hunting down criminal organizations and Morowa to discover more of her worth to Abstergo and what her bloodline has that interest them.
However, after a certain "accident" (coughcoughrippedcondomcoughcough), is later discovered that Morowa is pregnant, carrying Aiden's children. The Hitwoman chooses to hid away this from him, choosing to raise their children while starting a new life... Aiden would discover about their children two years later, after Blume attempted to use the kids as baits for him.
Madonudenu is the oldest twin by two minutes, both were born in one of her mother's travels with the Brotherhood of Assassins. They knew who their father was, but they did not known the status of their parents relationship, believing Aiden was simply "travelling while working". Connor was raised in the ways of the Brotherhood, a Bancroft through and through, he resembles more his maternal family, in contrast of his sister, that took a lot from their father and the Pearce family.
Eileen is technologically gifted, much like her dad, is a computer and robotic genius. Not formally an Assassin, but is an ally to their cause. In her teens, she becamed a Grey-Hat Hacker, much like her dad, and her fierce sense of justice inspires her to follow on her father footsteps as a Vigilante (what makes Aiden and Morowa worried af for her safety 😭).
Generally, this is all I have for the kiddos! Like I said, this is a pure crack idea I somehow decided it would work bc I wanted Morowa to be a mom but I gave Aiden dad character arc too lol.
I'm still developing the twins as I develop "Underworld", so I may give more update on those two patooties! 🫶🏽🥹
For now, that's all I have of them... So yeah, thank you guys for reading! :'3🩵
Watch Dogs Fandom Council... Send help.
I was on my way to write a mf fanfic, and I ended up giving Aiden kids... BIOLOGICAL KIDS.
I MADE OUR FOX DILF A LITERAL DAD, WHAT HAVE I DONE?! 😭
I'LL HAVE TO DEVELOP HIM AS A DAD??? AT THEM SAME TIME I LOVE THIS IDEA I FEAR I'LL RUIN HIS CHARACTER-

The Bancroft Bloodline
Hello, everyone!
As some of you may know, I’ve previously written two one-shots exploring the relationship between my MC, Nellie Bancroft, and Barnaby Lee. I’ve decided to expand those one-shots into a collection of stories where I develop Nellie’s character by exploring her relationships with other characters. So far, I’ve got ideas for stories centering on her relationships with Rowan Khanna, Skye Parkin, Erika Rath, and Talbott Winger.
The most recent addition is a vignette revolving around her relationship with Jacob, which is arguably one of the most important relationships in her life. Below the cut, you’ll find the link to the collection on AO3. The collection is titled Breaker of Curses, Dueler of Knights, and includes both Names Scrawled in the Margins of Spellbooks, the Barnaby-centric stories, and The Bancroft Bloodline, which focuses on Jacob. You’ll also find the entire first chapter of The Bancroft Bloodline, shared here on Tumblr for those who don’t want to go offsite.
I’d absolutely love if you’d give it a read, and I’m always looking for feedback. Thank you so much for your time!

The Bancroft Bloodline
Jacob Bancroft considered himself quite good at making snap judgments.
He had to be, in his line of work. In the world of curse-breaking, there was seldom time to carefully analyze every small aspect of a scene or situation. If action had to be taken, it had to be taken quickly. So, he learned to make his assessments in mere seconds, and deal with whatever the consequences may be later. As long as he got out of the main problem in one piece, he could worry about solving the others that may sprout up further down the line. It had become a bit of a habit.
So when he saw his little sister in that Vault, laying eyes on her for the first time in seven long years, he gave her the same perfunctory scan he gave everything else. She had grown taller, though not by much, and her face had yet to lose that youthful roundness. She was still growing her hair out; the flaxen locks were tied in a thick braid long enough for her to sit on. She was dressed in clothes unlike any he'd ever seen her wear—garments made of thick leather, with a chest plate and a shoulder pad—but then, she was venturing into a Cursed Vault. Perhaps it was smart to dress for the occasion. Certainly better than tromping around in her Hogwarts robes. She was still wearing the locket he'd given her, all those years ago, the silver seashell resting against her sternum.
She hadn't changed a bit.
It had been a matter of instinct, giving her that once over, and even as he did it, he hadn't truly registered what he was seeing. It seemed impossible, to think that after all these years of regretting and missing and loving, Nellie was standing right there, only feet away.
"Pip," he breathed, hardly daring to believe it, and she whipped around to face him. The wave of emotion that seemed to hit her at the sight of him was enough to make her stumble back, hands flying to cover her mouth.
"Jacob!" she whimpered, and, recovering, ran over to the portrait. She pressed her palms against the canvas, and Jacob dropped down to his knees, lining his hands up with hers, wishing more than anything that he could grab them and soothe her. Goodness, her hands were still so small. Nellie looked up, and seeing him so close made her face crumple, tears pouring openly down her cheeks. She sobbed, and just like that, Jacob was thrown back to being seventeen, newly expelled and purposeless.
He'd hardly left his room since he'd been sent home. His mothers didn't seem to know how to talk to him, and he was sure they had been urging Nellie away from him as well. He could hear them at night, arguing downstairs when they thought he was asleep. They didn't know what to do with him. It was fair, he supposed. He didn't know quite what to do with himself either.
Then he'd gotten Rakepick's letter.
He had spent a long time grappling with the contents of that letter. Deep down, he'd known he shouldn't accept her offer. Working for her and her allies, it had brought only bloodshed. First poor, sweet Olivia. Then Duncan. Getting sent home could've been a chance to try and sever those ties, get his life back on a track that was normal and safe. But of course, Jacob couldn't accept a comfortable life. He wanted a life of glory. He wanted to be powerful. He'd been such a foolish boy.
He could still remember the way his bedroom door creaked as it opened, and the sound of Nellie's little voice calling his name from the doorway. She'd been only eight, then, so small and vulnerable. Too young to understand why his homecoming had brought frustration and anguish, rather than joy. She didn't understand the weight of his expulsion, or the conversations her mothers had that always seemed to die out when she walked in the room, or the reason her big brother had barely said a single word to her since he came home. All she understood was that she'd missed him while he was gone, and she wanted to spend time with him now that he was here.
All she had done was ask if she could show him her new doll, the one mama had stitched up just for her.
And he'd exploded. He'd screamed at her for everything that had gone wrong, and for nothing at all. He screamed at her for things that were not her doing. He screamed at her for not understanding, for daring to come into his room while he was thinking, for wasting his time. He'd screamed at her until his voice gave out, and only then did he turn to look at her, chest heaving and face red with exertion.
More than anything, he remembered the way she'd looked at him in that moment. Her face drained of color, and her shaking hands hugged to her chest. Her eyes wide and damp with tears, looking at him not only with fear, but with a complete lack of recognition. In that moment, gazing up at him, she didn't recognize her beloved brother at all, and Jacob knew it. His heart had immediately sunk into the pit of his stomach, but when he reached to try and comfort her, she'd burst into tears and ran away. She'd been afraid of him. No matter how hard he tried, Jacob couldn't seem to forget how terrible that felt. In that moment, he'd failed every responsibility afforded to him as an older brother. His quest for power had turned him into someone his baby sister couldn't trust.
Starting his search for the Vaults was the biggest mistake of his life, but the second biggest mistake was undoubtedly the one he made that night: deciding that he wouldn't be able to put aside his quest—and become the sort of brother he wanted to be—until he'd succeeded. Once he found the Vaults, sating his curiosity and ridding him of his awful jealousy, he would finally be able to move on.
He'd left the very same night.
And look where that had gotten him. Trapped for years, without ever being able to amend the countless mistakes he had made. Look where it had gotten Nellie, seemingly led down the same crooked path that he had walked, filled with the same anguish he'd forced upon her seven years ago.
That was his little sister, sobbing on the other side of the portrait, bruised and shaking and so very vulnerable, and it was all his fault. Tears pricked at the back of Jacob's eyes, and he clenched his jaw, refusing to let himself break down. He was going to fix this. He was going to do right by her now, to make up for every time he had ever done her wrong. He tilted his head, trying to meet her eyes, and gave her the gentlest smile he could manage.
"It's alright, Pip. It's alright," he soothed, struggling to keep his voice steady. He glanced past her, to the column, and then met her gaze once more. "I need you to touch the column, okay? Then I'll be right there." Nellie looked over her shoulder at the column, like she'd forgotten it was there, then pulled away, wiping her nose with a small sniffle.
"O-Okay. I-I got it." Nellie pushed back her shoulders, forcing herself to stand tall, and crossed over to the column, her every step weighted with purpose. She looked over her shoulder, back up at him—and pressed her hand against the column.
It felt as though air filled Jacob's lungs for the very first time, like he hadn't drawn a breath in years. He took a big gulp of it, of that brand new air, and fell through the the canvas like it was water. He landed on his feet, wobbling, and he barely had time to steady himself before Nellie launched herself into his arms. He almost dissolved, then, holding her so close and feeling her weight in his arms, but he pulled himself back. She needed him. He couldn't break apart now.
"Let me look at you," Jacob whispered, planting his hands on Nellie's shoulders and pulling her back just enough to scan her over, one more time. He huffed a breathless laugh, shaking his head, then pressed a fervent kiss to her forehead. "God, Pip—you haven't changed a bit!" There was so much he wanted to say. He'd had seven years to plan everything he wanted to tell her, but in this critical moment, every carefully constructed sentence had fled his mind.
"You either," Nellie choked out, gazing up at him, before breaking down into another sob, "Oh, Jacob, I've—I've missed you. I've missed you so much." She shook her head, clinging desperately to his arms. "Everything's so twisted and wrong, it's all such a mess—" The relief that overwhelmed Jacob began to give away to unease, his brow furrowing. He was happier than anything that they were finally reunited, happier than anything that he was free...but what was she doing here?
"Hey, hey, shh," Jacob murmured, reaching with a shaking hand to smooth Nellie's hair back from her face, "Whatever's wrong, we can figure it out—"
"I'm sorry I didn't open the door!" Jacob paused, blinking at her a few times in confusion. Nellie wept, not even able to look him in the eye. "Th-The night you left. I didn't open the d-door. I'm so—I'm so sorry, Jacob!" Oh. Oh. That dreadful night, after he'd exploded and destroyed his family with the shrapnel of his rage, he'd tried to go and talk to her, to tell her he was sorry and reassure her that he was someone she could trust. But no matter how much he'd knocked, or how gently he spoke, Nellie hadn't responded, and she certainly hadn't opened the door. Had she been holding onto that, all these years?
"Nellie—" Before he could finish his sentence, however, the sound of oncoming feet made him spin towards the entryway, instinctively throwing out an arm to shield her. Two redheaded boys, one tall and lanky and the other short and stocky, raced in, both of them seeming to relax at the sight of Nellie. Still, Jacob didn't drop his arm. "Who're these two chaps, Pip?" Nellie sniffled, clumsily wiping at her face with the palms of her hands. The sight of them seemed to have jarred her back to the present, reminding her of the circumstances that had gotten her here. There was no time for tears.
"These are my friends, Bill and Charlie Weasley," she introduced, keeping her voice as steady as she could and stepping out around Jacob, branching the gap between them, "They helped me get here."
"Well, then they have my gratitude, that's for sure," Jacob responded in a frail attempt at levity, giving both boys a tight smile. They both stared, as though they couldn't quite believe what they were seeing.
"So, that's him?" the taller one asked, voice uncertain, "That's Jacob Bancroft?" Nellie turned towards him once more, her smile radiant in spite of the dampness of her eyes.
"That's Jacob Bancroft," she confirmed, voice soft with wonder, before the arrival of two more strangers, a boy and a girl, caught her attention. "Merula!" she gasped, darting over to the girl, who was leaning heavily on the boy, her face twisted in pain, "You should be resting!" On instinct, Jacob reached for his wand, a dozen healing spells on his tongue.
"What happened to her?"
"It was Rakepick," Nellie answered, voice growing tight as she wrapped one of the girl's arms around her shoulder, helping to prop her up, "She used the Cruciatus curse on her, we have to—"
"Rakepick?" Jacob interjected, eyes darkening, "She's here?" That vile banshee. It was all falling into place now. Jacob had failed her, so she'd turned to the second best option. She'd preyed on his little sister, used her the same way she'd used him, brought her here, into this place of unbelievable danger, to serve her own needs.
"Well, no, not—not anymore," Nellie fumbled, caught off guard by the intensity of his voice, "She Disapparated—"
"Just now?" She wouldn't get away with this. He wouldn't let her. She'd taken his ambition and corrupted it. She had twisted him until he was unrecognizable, and disposed of his two only friends as soon as they were of no use to her. She had torn his family apart, ripped him away from them, and now she had turned her wicked gaze onto the one person Jacob had wanted to protect above all. Jacob was going to take her down. He was going to turn her into ash, and ensure that she never sunk her claws into anyone else.
"Just a minute ago," the shorter redhead confirmed, glancing at Nellie, and Jacob gave a low growl.
"I have to go after her," he muttered, almost more to himself than to them, stalking past the group and pulling his wand from its sheath at his hip, "I might still be able to catch up with her, if I'm fast enough."
"Wait!" Nellie gasped, and in spite of himself, Jacob felt his expression soften as he turned to face her. "Take me with you," she pleaded, voice just about breaking, "I can help!" Jacob's chest tightened. She was such a noble girl. She had been since she was just a small child, always taking the blame for his missteps and shielding him from the worst of their mum's disappointment.
"This is my fight," Jacob said gently, walking over and taking her round, young face in his hands, "It's too dangerous for you to get involved.
"You can't leave again! You can't!" Nellie protested frantically, panic settling in her chest like a bird in a cage that was far too small, beating its wings against the bars, "I only just got you back! There's so much I need to ask you—"
"And there will be time later," Jacob stated firmly, leaning in to press one last kiss to Nellie's forehead, "I'll find you, Pip. I promise. And then we'll have all the time in the world." He pulled back, out of reach of Nellie's hands, reaching desperately for him. "Keep your head down, and stay safe," he commanded, looking steadily into her eyes, "I'll find you when this is all over." And with a loud pop, he was gone.
Fortunately, Jacob left just a minute too early to see Nellie break down entirely. He missed, by only a moment, Bill Weasley pulling her into his arms in a way not unlike Jacob had. Into an embrace not unlike that of an older brother.

Morbius: Bond of Blood
Tumblr media
Just a fan logo I did for a Morbius sequel with Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Tyrese Gibson, and (maybe) Michael Keaton in the near future.
For the record, I actually liked the movie, flaws and all, and I think with its recent success on Netflix, this could actually happen soon. I got the name for it from the 2021 storyline where he deals with the consequences of his first kill as a vampire. Would work pretty well as inspiration to pull from for the possible sequel.
And yes, since I do like the film, do me a favor and don’t come at me with any memes, all right?
Anyway, hope you like it!

Since I am currently very deeply invested in Hogwarts Mystery, I’ve been spending an inordinate amount of time developing my version of Jacob’s Sibling in my mind. I’m kind of proud of the character I created, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to put her out there in the character universe of Hogwarts Mystery OCs.
Now, full disclosure, I’m not an artist. I don’t have any beautiful drawings attached to give you an idea of what I’m visualizing (at least, not any I drew). More or less, this is just going to be a bunch of word vomit about the character I’m crafted, and I’ll probably go back and edit it a bunch of times as I think of more details. If it isn’t too much trouble, I’d love to hear people’s opinions of her! Thank you to anyone who reads, and I hope you like her as much as I do!
BE WARNED THAT THIS CHARACTER SHEET CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR HOGWARTS MYSTERY.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
FULL NAME: Helena Winifred Bancroft.
NICKNAME: Most people call her Nellie; only her mum calls her Helena. She also occasionally gets Nel, and Jacob used to call her Pip, short for Pipsqueak. Her and Rowan also had unique nicknames for each other, with Nellie calling Rowan “smart girl” and Rowan calling Nellie “sweet girl.”
DATE OF BIRTH: March 11th. She’s a Pisces.
BLOOD STATUS: Half-blood.
FAMILY: Nellie’s family consists of her mothers, a pureblooded Auror named Juliette and a muggle school teacher named Carolyn, and her half-brother Jacob. (Juliette is mum, Carolyn is mama.) Both her and Jacob’s respective fathers were muggle men that Juliette was involved with in the past, and neither are involved in their lives. The Bancroft bloodline is matrilineal, and while not necessarily famous, prides itself on producing particularly powerful witches.
BACKGROUND: She grew up in a small coastal community, where she was an avid swimmer, frequent visitor of the beach, and overall just a total water baby. Her family was comfortable financially, but chose to live fairly humbly, and Nellie was content with that. While she occasionally played with the local muggle children, most of Nellie’s time was spent either following Jacob around like a little shadow or playing with the fairies that lived in her mama’s garden. (She spent all her time telling them how pretty they were, so they tolerated her.) Unsurprisingly, she was a bit of a loner.
HOUSE: A proud Hufflepuff, just like Jacob.
DREAM: First and foremost, to find Jacob. However, in the long term, she’d really like to own a Hippogriff sanctuary and work as a breeder (with entirely moral methods, don’t worry). They’re by far her favorite creature, and she wants to spend the rest of her life working with them.
DEEPEST SECRET: That she wonders all the time if Jacob is worth saving. Growing up, he was her best friend and her hero, and there was no one she loved more. But watching how he changed in the last year or two prior to his disappearance, and hearing some of the stories at school, she honestly wonders if the loving brother she remembers exists anymore. And if he doesn’t, is the boy he left behind someone she wants to bring back?
She’s also been hiding a growing resentment toward her mum. While Jacob’s disappearance took a toll on them all, she sometimes feels like her mum’s put so much of her emotional energy into missing Jacob that she doesn’t have enough left to love her anymore, and she secretly hates her mum nudging her to find Jacob, even if it’s at the cost of her own happiness and safety.
...sometimes she wishes it had been Ben.
MOST TREASURED OBJECT: For years, it was her seashell locket, a gift she’d gotten from Jacob for her sixth birthday, with the little sculpture Barnaby made her for their Valentines Day date coming in at a close second. Now, it’s a spare pair of Rowan’s glasses, which Nellie had kept on hand since their first year, given how often Rowan misplaced hers.
WAND: Nellie’s first wand is ten and a half inches long, made of pear wood with a unicorn hair core. Her second, which she purchases in her fifth year, is eleven and a quarter inches, with an alder wood base and a phoenix feather core. Lastly, her third, which she gets after she graduates and keeps for the rest of her life, is ten and two thirds inches long, built from beech wood, and possesses a unicorn hair core.
PATRONUS: An African Bush Elephant.
ANIMAGUS: A Kooikerhondje dog.
BOGGART: Jacob’s corpse, shambling towards her like a zombie, sobbing about how she failed to save him.
BEST MEMORY: Jacob trying to teach her spells when he came home for his first break in his first year of Hogwarts. She would’ve only been five—they’re six years apart—so it’s a faint memory and she couldn’t do any of them anyway, but it was still happy enough to stick with her.
WORST MEMORY: The year Jacob disappeared, their mum mandated that he come home for breaks. (He’d been staying at school the past few years, but with everything that was happening, their mothers wanted to keep an eye on him.) He was on edge the entire time, bitter and aloof, and when Nellie tentatively tried to get him to play, he exploded at her about wasting his time. In that moment, his face twisted and red with rage, his tall, lanky body looming over her, Nellie didn’t recognize her brother at all, and that scared her more than anything. For the longest time, that was her worst memory.
Now, her worst memory is being in that forest grove, staring down at Rowan’s unmoving body, her gaping mouth and empty eyes. Even decades later, Nellie has dreams about it. Certainly, no memory will ever be worse than that one.
QUIDDITCH: After being trained by Skye, Nellie played as a Chaser for two seasons and a Beater for one, before retiring to a reserve chaser. There just wasn’t enough time, and she didn’t really have the competitive spirit for it. However, she remained friends with Skye, Orion, McNully, and Erika, and still enjoyed training with them to keep her skills sharp.
GREATEST STRENGTHS: Nellie is an overwhelmingly compassionate person. Her mama likes to joke that Nellie could spend all day waiting for a scoop of her favorite ice cream, and she’d still offer it to the first gloomy person she saw on the street. (Basically, if there’s a little pink heart next to a choice, that’s the one she’s making. Empathy is definitely her highest stat.) She never fails to go out of her way to help people, even if it’s to her own detriment. She just has a very warm energy, which makes it easy for people to feel safe confiding in and depending on her.
GREATEST WEAKNESS: Unfortunately, Nellie’s compassion is a bit of a double edged sword, and she can be guilty of stretching herself too far trying to please everyone and, subsequently, letting herself fall to the wayside. She’s also embarrassingly naive (a negative consequence to her desperate belief in the inherent goodness of people), and has a tendency to get a little too emotionally invested in things. She also stakes a lot of her personal value in her ability to keep others happy—if she isn’t capable of keeping those she loves safe and content, she feels she has no value at all.
APPEARANCE: In short, Nellie is about as far from intimidating as any one person can get. She never surpasses five feet tall, nor does she develop past her scrawny adolescent physique. Her face is round, with a little button nose and big ocean blue eyes. She’s covered from head to toe in freckles, and has a slight case of buck teeth with a tiny tooth gap, though nothing she considered worth getting braces over. She also has a scar on her thumb from the time her mum tried to teach her how to whittle. It didn’t go well.
However, her most defining physical characteristic is her hair. Curly and sandy blonde, she grew it long for the first fifteen years of her life, only cutting off the occasional inch to keep it healthy. It was very carefully maintained, because although Nellie doesn’t consider herself a vain girl, she loved her hair, which grew to reach her thighs at its longest. It was the only feature of hers she considered genuinely and objectively beautiful, and she prided herself on it. In the summer after her fifth year of Hogwarts, she chopped all that treasured hair off into a bob, her only reasoning being that it was more practical. It certainly had nothing to do with the fact that Rakepick had grabbed her by her exceptionally long braid when she’d tried to run to Merula’s aid in the Buried Vault.
STYLE: Nellie dresses exactly how you’d expect a stereotypical Hufflepuff to dress. She favors bright, pleasant colors, likes embroidery and floral print, and values comfort over anything. Her current favorite outfits both involve overalls, with one consisting of denim overalls with embroidered butterflies on the chest pocket and a white t-shirt, and the other being a pair of faded overalls that she personally painted with flowers, despite being an absolutely terrible artist, and a yellow turtleneck. She pretty much always wears a pair of light weight, embroidered boots, and is never seen without her seashell locket.
VOICE: I picture her sounding similar to AnnaPantsu. There’s a reason she was able to make the choir, after all! (Even if she ultimately surrendered her spot to Merula.)
BEST SUBJECT: Unsurprisingly, Care for Magical Creatures. Her kind nature and respect for all magical beings makes her a bit of a natural. She’s also proven herself to have a knack for Divination. She’s no Seer, but she’s pretty good at deciphering omens and swears that she does sometimes see visions in crystal balls. She’s also decent at Transfiguration.
WORST SUBJECT: Anyone would suck at Potions if Snape spent the entire class glowering at them the way he does at Nellie! It’s awfully hard to focus when your professor is breathing down your neck, staring dismissively into your cauldron like you’ve already made a mistake. She also just has a really poor memory, so any class that requires her to follow a sequence of meticulous steps is going to be one she struggles with. She also has difficulty in History of Magic for a similar reason—all of those dates and names just go in one ear and out the other.
BEST FRIEND(s): Rowan. Nellie loves every member of her eclectic group of friends dearly, but Rowan was her first friend, and will always, always be her dearest. For whatever reason, they just clicked perfectly, and completely got each other. Her death changed Nellie irreversibly. For at least a year after Rowan’s death, Nellie wore the spare pair of glasses she’d kept for her everywhere. Even once she stopped, they were almost always in her bag. Nellie was eventually able to manage again, but she never really moved on.
The runner up was undoubtedly Bill. He completely adopted her as (yet another) younger sibling, and they never quite lose that closeness, even when Jacob comes back into the picture. After all, Jacob can’t replicate the experiences Nellie had with Bill. While he was doing his part to protect Nellie as best he could, and that’s admirable, it wasn’t him that was by Nellie’s side throughout every trial she faced at Hogwarts. It was Bill, and Jacob would never be able to imitate the connection that gave Bill and Nellie.
In the wake of Rowan’s death, Nellie also develops a surprisingly close friendship with Erika Rath. They’d already been developing a friendship, but Rowan’s passing was the catalyst for them growing closer. During one of her training sessions with Erika (which Erika had told her she could sit out of, given the circumstances, but Nellie insisted), Rowan’s glasses fell off, and cracked. The damage was minor and entirely fixable, but Nellie had a complete breakdown, allowing herself to cry for the first time since Rowan had died. And Erika sat there with her, holding her tight, the entire time. While the rest of her friends were tiptoeing around her, not sure what she needed and scared of saying the wrong thing, uncomfortable in the face of such overwhelming grief, Erika took everything Nellie threw at her in stride. The fits where all Nellie could do was scream and cry, the anger that had her beating her fists against the ground and snarling threats brutal enough to make her sick, the guilt that left a hollow pit in her stomach and made her wish it had been her instead. Every ugly thought, every wave of emotion, Erika stuck with Nellie through them all, keeping her grounded her during a time where she felt she could completely drift away. It’s impossible to describe the sort of bond that gives people.
WORST ENEMY: For a while, it was Emily Tyler. With Merula, at least she has qualities that Nellie can respect—her ambition, her bravery, her fierce determination—and they’ve had a few moments where it feels like some genuine bonding has occurred. She may not approve of a lot of Merula’s behavior, but at least she can sort of understand her. But Emily Tyler is just so superficial and mean spirited, and Nellie simply can’t stand her. Now, though, it’s easily Patricia Rakepick.
LOVE INTEREST: Barnaby Lee, though not at first. Nellie housed an absolutely fierce crush on Skye Parkin for a while, but it quickly became apparent that Skye didn’t return her feelings. To Skye, Nellie was like the sister she never had, and Nellie didn’t want to jeopardize that. There was also some sort of tension going on between her and Merula in their fifth year, but nothing ever came of it. After the events that transpired in the Vault, Merula decided Nellie wasn’t worth the trouble. It’s one of her biggest regrets.
Barnaby was actually crushing on Nellie long before she had any romantic feelings for him—ever since that first duel, actually, when she completely whooped his ass while apologizing after every blow. (A scene I actually explored here.) It took a little while, but Nellie eventually fell for Barnaby’s good heart and noble nature. He may not be the brightest bulb in the box, but he never fails to make her feel cared for. He can make her laugh when nobody else can, and although she’d loathe herself if he got hurt for her sake, it honestly feels a little nice to have someone trying to protect and take care of her for once, instead of the other way around. They also both love magical creatures, so a lot of their “dates” just consist of them hanging around the Care for Magical Creatures paddock and feeding whatever they find. Random little fun fact, Nellie’s pet name for Barnaby is just to say “Barnaby dear” as though it’s one word, and it never fails to make Barnaby feel super giddy.
PETS: Whoo boy, Nellie’s pets. First and foremost, there’s Astrid, her Lesser Sooty Owl. A remarkably intelligent bird, Astrid is usually found occupying the rafters above Nellie’s head, watching over her like a worrisome mother. She usually sleeps in Nellie’s dorm, rather than the owlery, and has a habit of picking at knots in Nellie’s hair (and, surprisingly, Rowan’s as well) with her beak as though she’s trying to straighten them out.
While she adores Nellie, Astrid is notably less fond of Klepto, her mischievous Niffler. If Astrid is like Nellie’s mother, Klepto is like an obnoxious toddler, always causing trouble and fussing for her attention. He’s remarkably clingy, enough so that Nellie’s taken to hiding him in the dorm rather than keeping him in the grasslands. (She can’t help it! He throws a fit if he can’t sleep pressed against the soles of her feet!)
Then there’s Flora, a particularly slothful fairy who has taken to riding in the pockets of Nellie’s robes, content to spend the rest of her life being carried around and lavished with compliments and sweets. Her and Astrid have a sort of tenuous truce, since they both have a bit of a fierce streak when it comes to defending Nellie.
There’s also a Hippogriff and a Common Welsh Green on the grounds, both of which Nellie is determined to befriend, but that’s still a bit of a work in progress at the moment.
FUN FACTS:
• Nellie ends up going grey—or white, rather—fairly early. Her hair’s almost entirely white by the time she turns thirty. She’s insecure about it for a while, then decides to just embrace it. It looks elegant, and Merlin help the person who tries to tell her otherwise.
• Given how incredibly physically affectionate Nellie is and how much she adored Rowan, it’s no surprise that she almost always kissed Rowan on the top of the head when saying goodbye. Just like she did in the forest grove, chest tight with anguish but eyes painfully dry.
• Barnaby and Nellie are married by the time they’re twenty. Maybe it’s a result of almost dying young on multiple occasions, but Nellie wasn’t keen on waiting. She didn’t want to take the risk of never getting the opportunity.
• Nellie has always wanted a big family. After how fractured hers became when Jacob disappeared, that desperate desire only increased. Fortunately, Barnaby, with his tiny, miserable family, wanted to create a large, happy one just as badly.
• On that note, they end up having five daughters: Ivy (Ravenclaw), Jade (Ravenclaw), Miri (Hufflepuff), Aurora (Slytherin), and Rowan (Hufflepuff). Many were surprised Nellie waited until her last child to name one after Rowan, but the truth was, she just wasn’t ready. She’d always known she wanted to, but it always felt too soon.
• As a frequent visitor to the Burrow, Nellie grew close with all the Weasleys. She actually babysat Ron and Ginny a far bit after she graduated Hogwarts.
• Bill and Jacob never get along. Though Bill can logically understand that Jacob was trying to protect Nellie, he can never really forgive Jacob for the distress he put Nellie through. And while Jacob understands that Nellie needed support and he wasn’t there to provide it, some part of him resents that Bill stepped into his role as Nellie’s brother.
• Although they were once close as sisters, Nellie and Skye’s friendship definitely changed for the worse in their sixth year. The drama surrounding Nellie getting trained and befriended by Erika all occurred in the month leading up to Rowan’s demise. Having Skye—someone Nellie considered a close friend—be so caught up in her own grudges and jealousy that she called off their friendship in a fit of anger not even a week after Rowan had died, while Erika—a friend she had only just started to make—acted as her rock throughout the whole grieving process, really changed Nellie’s perspective on Skye. To be fair, Skye did eventually apologize, and they picked up the pieces as best they could, but things were never the same.
• While Nellie focused more on the changes her friends went through after the events in the Buried Vault, there’s no denying that she changed as well. She hardly slept her entire sixth year. She cut off all her hair, and she jumped with every loud noise. Her naivety, one of her defining traits, withered, and left only wariness behind. She went from trusting everyone, to trusting no one. Then Rowan’s death came, and she crumbled completely. For a long time after it, she couldn’t function at all.

WHO SHE IS… Alice Bancroft Bishop
once upon a time, your name meant something. a bancroft woman was something to behold, but by the time you came to grace the land’s with your power, it was too late. the world had forgotten witches of your old, ancient heritage - and so you must hide, and wait. its an hourglass that never seems to find an end, an eternity of wishing. so you turn to other things, such as pleasures of the body and of drink, to numb the aching passing of time. perhaps you were doomed to be this - all powerful, but forever contained.
WHAT WE KNOW…
Past: Back in the days older than history books can record, Bancroft and magic went hand-in-hand. When Alice Bancroft was born in 1673, her family had already gone into hiding, though still a prominent pillar in Salem’s society. She was considered local nobility, courted by many of the men, and even women gave her demure smiles behind their lavish fans. But Alice had eyes for no one, it seemed, other than an appetite for more than she could ever be given. When she settled for Joseph Bishop and shed the Bancroft name (or curse?), almost all of Salem forgot about her. It wasn’t until later on when her dedication to a radical dark witch in the later 1690s tarnished her name, and ultimately led to her discovery, that most even bothered to remember the flame that could’ve been something great in a better world.
Present: Marrying Joseph Bishop in 1691 would turn out to be the beginning of the end. Only six years into their marriage and Alice was found dead by her husband’s hands. She left behind one child. Many whispered that her death was due to the rumored lack of fidelity she had for her husband; others said it was her choice in affairs, that of a much more feminine appeal. But only a select few in the Bancroft bloodline knew the truth - Alice was discovered for her magical abilities and paid for it dearly. In 1697, during the peak of Salem’s bloodlust, Alice Bancroft bid the world goodbye, having pledged her alliance to a rogue and dangerous witch with a penchant for the dark side. She took this loyalty with her to the grave, but ultimately died in vain, for the witch she followed died exactly 13 days later. It didn’t take long for her own husband and the rest of her beloved town to burn all traces of magic from the Earth.
Personality: History did not do Alice well. On her best days, she was bright and dynamic, clever and independent. Often scolded for her wild streak and what others deemed “impossible” ideas, Alice preferred to call herself a zealot, and carried on without caution. Her worst days were one of turmoil; deceit, desperation, and above all else, boredom. Even after choosing to become a Bishop, Alice craved for the promise of power, and often would find herself easily tempted if it whispered of something better. If she had been born during the time when the Bancroft name ruled, Alice would have made a remarkable leader.
Alice is a deceased NPC and will not be open for applications at any time.

JORGEN AND BINKY: IN SHORT
Brief bios about the Keeper of Da Rules and that other guy
JORGEN VON STRANGLE
Occupation: Keeper of Da Rules, common fairy ambassador, honorary Head Fairy
Birthday: Fourth Friday of April, Spring of the Blue Fields (Leaves)
Height: 6′9″
Age During Frozen Timestream: 528,752 (Mentally 47)
Age As of Devil’s Backbone: 694,012 (Mentally 61)
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
MBTI: ESFP
Love Language: Acts of service
Handedness: Left dominant
Hometown: Faeheim - Fairy World’s capital city, located near the Big Wand
Core: Measuring stick
Core Color: Yellow (Layer 1 Yellow; Layer 2 Purple)
Crown Lift: High
Wand Type: Zinflax
Fagiggly Color: Pewter
Preferred Shapeshifting Form: Gray wolf
Bio: Eldest child of Adelinda von Strangle and the politician Oswald Thane, Jorgen was always destined to become Keeper of Da Rules. Of all current fae heads of state (H.P., Anti-Cosmo, Anti-Wanda, Anti-Sanderson, and arguably Dame Artemis), Jorgen is the only one who was raised since birth to inherit his position, and is the only one who was directly trained by someone who held that position before him. He was well prepared to take over, but is full of more courage than wisdom, and a sense of duty over guilt.
He’s devoted to his work and rarely faces moral dilemmas that upset him, but when he does, he completely withdraws into himself, crushed beneath his regrets. His neuroticism is concerning, but he does try to be a good leader for the Fairies.
Jorgen spent much of his youth in stuffy clothes and fancy dinner parties, rubbing shoulders with businessmen and politicians alike. He didn’t spend much time with his extremely busy mother or quiet father in his youth (though he loved them dearly) and instead connected with his grandmother, Nana Boom-Boom, who both understood his personality and could be there for him regularly.
As a child, Jorgen was a massive rule-follower and worked religiously to exceed all his parents’ expectations. He couldn’t be satisfied with simply doing what he was asked, because only when he went above and beyond did they seem to notice him. To this day he pushes himself too hard and berates himself tremendously for even small mistakes.
Adelinda retired from being Keeper of Da Rules when Jorgen was about 300,000 (mentally 26) and passed her rank to him shortly before the War of the Angels broke out. Jorgen lost his father and several friends during that same war and still blames himself for leading an attack force instead of staying to defend the Pink Castle. He has a bitter grudge against Anti-Fairies for burning it down... and against H.P. for tipping the Anti-Fairies off about its lack of defenses.
Adelinda now spends her days as the Fairy Elder’s personal attendant (and was seen performing these duties in the 130 Prompt “Minion”). When Jorgen retires, he will follow in her footsteps by caring for his queen for the rest of his life. He is married to the Tooth Fairy and extremely devoted to her, though has some anxieties about the future of the von Strangle and Dentin bloodlines... especially since drones like him are infertile more often than they aren’t.

.
BANCROFT “BINKY” LUCAS ABDUL
Occupation: Stage actor, movie actor, assistant to the Keeper of Da Rules
Birthday: 3rd Thursday of August, Summer of the Low Doves (Love)
Height: 3′0″
Age During Frozen Timestream: 422,612 (Mentally 37)
Age As of Devil’s Backbone: 585,872 (Mentally 52)
Alignment: Lawful Good
MBTI: INFJ
Love Language: Quality time
Handedness: Right dominant
Hometown: Faeheim - Fairy World’s capital city, located near the Big Wand
Core: Hook
Core Color: Pink (Layer 1 Blue; Layer 2 Pink)
Crown Lift: Average
Wand Type: Chesberry
Fagiggly Color: Purple
Preferred Shapeshifting Form: Deer
Bio: Binky is a common fairy with an eastern elf father, and stems from a long line of clothing designers. He certainly doesn’t come from a high-class family, but he’s been well known in Fairy World for most of his life. A child actor, he participated in numerous theater performances throughout his youth and quickly became known for his good memory, expressive body language, and ability to project his voice. Also his abilities to fake cry and fake intense pain (He’s practiced those a lot).
Binky has been in and out of the media all his life and still acts in the occasional play or movie to this day (See also, “Timmy TV”). He has a few Zappy awards to his name, though prefers to live in a modest home in Faeheim instead of the drama-heavy Fairywood.
When he wasn’t acting, Binky grew up in Faeheim not far from Jorgen. Because they both came from families that spoke Mangermese at home, they ended up bonding even though Jorgen was much older (9 years mentally). Jorgen was a rowdy child who loved hiking and sparring with the other kids in the neighborhood, and before long Binky was the only one who dared to call him friend.
While unusual for two fairies of such different ages to hang out, Jorgen allowed his young fan to tag along with him everywhere (He’d often carry Binky on hikes and buy him treats at the store). This progressed to Binky supporting Jorgen during races and sparring matches and spotting him when he worked out. When Binky came into his full pheromones, their bond grew closer as the young gyne learned of his hero’s drone state for the first time.
Nowadays Jorgen spends a lot of time around the Fairy Council and the Fairy Elder, and their pheromones far overpower Binky’s. Nonetheless, he still considers Binky his oldest and dearest friend (See also, “Timmy the Barbarian”). Jorgen plays rough, but he’s more vulnerable around Binky than he is with anyone else. Binky recognizes this and understands that even though Jorgen has aggressive ways of showing affection, he does value their friendship immensely.
Binky once worked as a fairy godfather, but dropped out to take a work-from-home job while raising his and Jorgen’s ward, Westley Periwinkle. He’s happy to serve the Keeper of Da Rules (and by extension the entirety of Fairy World) however he can. If that’s by being Jorgen’s emotional support blanket / chew toy, then that’s his lot in life (and he accepts it).

RELATIONSHIPS
Parents:
Juliette Bancroft — biological mother | A pureblooded Auror and proud member of the Bancroft bloodline, known for producing powerful witches. She blames herself for Jacob’s disappearance, believing that she drove him away by focusing on Nellie, who she viewed as a proper heir to the Bancroft line. Unfortunately, her guilt over driving Jacob away is causing her to neglect Nellie, driving her away as well. She’s always been a little hard on her children. Nellie calls her “mum.”
Carolyn Bancroft — adopted mother | A muggle school teacher who might not understand her magical wife and children, but loves them all anyway. Nellie was always closer to her than to Juliette, and the difference only grew greater after Jacob’s disappearance. While Carolyn also grieved, she did her best to support Nellie through her anguish. She fears that her family’s going to fall apart entirely, because Juliette won’t listen to her and Nellie is growing more distant by the day. Nellie calls her “mama.”
Edwin Dermott — biological father | A muggle journalist who isn’t involved in Nellie’s life. He and Juliette dated, but it was never meant to last. It was the sort of relationship that was exciting, but not sustainable, especially considering Juliette was already a single mother to Jacob at the time. Nellie, much like Jacob, was a complete accident. Edwin at least had the decency to stick around until Nellie was born, but quickly decided fatherhood wasn’t his style and took off.
Siblings:
Jacob Bancroft — half brother | Once Nellie’s hero and very best friend, now a mystery she can’t seem to unravel. He was never a particularly powerful wizard—bright and hard working, yes, but lacking raw magical power—and considering he was the first son in generations of powerful witches, he was especially humiliated by this fact. Nellie’s bursts of accidental magic were more substantial than any spells he cast, and as much as he loved her, god, Jacob was jealous. Initially started hunting the Cursed Vaults for entirely selfish reasons, wanting to become more powerful. As is often the case, his search for power only amounted to getting him in far over his head. He spent his years in the portrait thinking of his family and the anguish he undoubtedly caused them. Upon being freed, he took it upon himself to protect them, no matter the cost, without realizing he may be making the damage worse.
Lucille Whittaker — half sister | Nellie’s muggle father’s other daughter, who she’s never met. In fact, Nellie’s not even aware of her existence, nor is Lucille aware of hers, considering that Edwin isn’t a part of either of their lives. They do end up connecting later in life, and though they never quite feel like sisters, they do become decent friends.
Love Interest:
Skye Parkin — crush | Nellie housed an unrequited crush on her for part of her 5th year, but it quickly became apparent that Skye didn’t return her feelings. To Skye, Nellie was like the sister she never had, and Nellie didn’t want to jeopardize that. She moved on, and any lingering feelings completely withered the following year.
Merula Snyde — ??? | There was some sort of tension between them in 5th year, something that blossomed from their growing mutual respect and trust in each other, but nothing ever came of it. After the events that transpired in the Vault, Merula decided Nellie wasn’t worth the trouble. It’s one of her biggest regrets.
Barnaby Lee — soulmate | Barnaby crushed on Nellie long before she had any romantic feelings for him—ever since that first duel, in fact. It took a little while, but Nellie eventually fell for Barnaby’s good heart and noble nature. They’re married by the time they’re twenty.
Best Friend(s):
Rowan Khanna | Her first friend, and always her dearest.
Bill Weasley | He completely adopted her as (yet another) younger sibling, and they never quite lose that closeness, even when Jacob comes back into the picture.
Erika Rath | An unexpected friend, but a very strong one. During one of Nellie’s training sessions with Erika, Rowan’s glasses fell off, and cracked. The damage was entirely fixable, but Nellie had a breakdown, crying for the first time since Rowan had died. Even though Erika had only just started to become Nellie’s friend, she sat there with Nellie the entire time she sobbed. While the rest of her friends were tiptoeing around Nellie, uncomfortable in the face of such overwhelming grief and scared of saying the wrong thing, Erika took everything Nellie threw at her in stride. The fits where all Nellie could do was scream and cry, the anger that had her beating her fists against the ground, the guilt that made her wish it had been her instead. Every ugly thought, every wave of emotion, Erika stuck with Nellie through them all, keeping her grounded her during a time where she felt she could completely drift away. It’s impossible to describe the sort of bond that gives people.
Friend(s):
Penny Haywood | There’s not much to say about Penny and Nellie’s relationship. It’s simple, sweet, and supportive. They’re absolutely each other’s cheerleaders, and have an incredible amount of faith in each other.
Talbott Winger | Loathe as Talbott is to admit it, Nellie really is his friend. Nellie appreciates that Talbott can enjoy silence, and when she needs to just be around someone, without needing to explain herself, she goes to him. They spend a lot of nights in the Astronomy Tower in their animagus forms, just looking at the stars and being together.
Chiara Lobosco | Honestly, it’s surprising that it took these two as long as it did to become friends. Both of them are kind girls, who enjoy healing magic. They hit it off volunteering together in the Hospital Wing, but the real catalyst of their friendship was Nellie helping Chiara through the Woflsbane incident with Lupin.
Complicated:
Skye Parkin | They were once very good friends. Unfortunately, the drama surrounding Nellie getting trained and befriended by Erika all occurred in the month leading up to Rowan’s demise. Having Skye—someone Nellie considered a close friend—be so caught up in her own grudges and jealousy that she called off their friendship in a fit of anger not even a month after Rowan had died, while Erika—a friend she had only just started to make—acted as her rock throughout the whole grieving process, really changed Nellie’s perspective on Skye. To be fair, Skye did eventually apologize, and they picked up the pieces as best they could, but things were never the same.
Ben Copper | Truly, Nellie had always liked Ben. While his fear over just about everything could be grating, Nellie knew it was outside of his control, and to her, his kind and gentle nature far outweighed his cowardice. Unfortunately, the reveal that Ben was being used by R undoubtedly damaged their relationship, even though Nellie believed him when he claimed to be cursed. Their relationship only grows more strained as Ben’s personality shifts, with Nellie being concerned by his recklessness and frustrated by his overprotectiveness, and Ben annoyed by her refusal to accept how he’d changed.
Merula Snyde | Anyone would tell you that Nellie and Merula got off to a bad start. They were rivals from the start, and no matter how many times Nellie tried to extend an olive branch, sick and tired of fighting and wanting to move on, Merula seemed content to burn them. It wasn’t until they were pulled together as Rakepick’s assistants that their relationship started to change for the better. They respected and trusted each other out of necessity, at first, but slowly began to genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Their jabs softened, and maybe, just maybe, there started to be an inkling of some sort of attraction. But of course, any bond formed due to Rakepick’s interference was set up for failure, and any progress they’d made was completely abandoned in the wake of her betrayal. Now, neither is quite sure where they stand. They can’t just go back to hating each other, but whatever they’d started to develop isn’t going to work either.
Enemies:
Ismelda Murk | Nellie has sympathy for Ismelda, she really does. But sympathy doesn’t excuse how mean spirited Ismelda can be, with her violent threats and condescending sneer. The two have simply never liked each other, and that dislike only deepened when Barnaby’s interest in Nellie became near. As much as Ismelda claimed to be over him, she resented that he chose a perky, obnoxious Hufflepuff over her.
Patricia Rakepick | This should go without saying. Patricia Rakepick is a vile, hateful witch, who doesn’t care who she hurts in pursuit of her goals. Not only was she a direct contributor to Jake’s disappearance, but she murdered Rowan, an innocent, in cold blood. Nellie has never been the violent sort. She’s always been a pacifist, always trying to talk her way out of conflict and, if that doesn’t work, aiming to disarm instead of harm. But for Rakepick, she thinks she could make an exception. She wants to see Rakepick suffer. It scares her more than she wants to admit.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
Nellie’s favorite physical trait of hers was always her hair. She absolutely treasured it, growing it out long for 15 years and carefully tending to it to make sure it stayed shiny, healthy, and soft. She prided herself on it...until the day she tried to run to Merula’s aid in the Buried Vault, and Patricia Rakepick grabbed her by her long golden braid to stop her. She came back to Hogwarts for her 6th year with all that long, beloved hair cut off into a bob. It was more practical, she said, and refused to answer any questions.
On the subject of her hair, Nellie ends up going grey fairly early. Her hair is entirely white by the time she’s 30 years old.
An incredibly physically affectionate person, Nellie is always touching people, hugging and holding hands and linking arms. Notably, she kissed the top of Rowan’s head every time she said goodbye.
Her and Rowan called each other  “sweet girl” and “smart girl” respectively.
Nellie’s pet name for Barnaby is just to say “Barnaby dear” as though it’s one word, and it never fails to make him giddy.
Both Barnaby and Nellie have always wanted to create large, happy families for themselves, so it should come as no surprise that they end up having five daughters: Ivy (Ravenclaw), Jade (Ravenclaw), Miri (Hufflepuff), Aurora (Slytherin), and Rowan (Hufflepuff). Many were surprised Nellie waited until her last child to use Rowan’s namesake, but the truth was, she never quite felt ready.
As a frequent visitor to the Burrow, Nellie knew all the Weasleys well, and even babysat Ron and Ginny for free on a few occasions.
Bill and Jacob never get along. Though Bill can logically understand that Jacob was trying to protect Nellie the only way he knew, he can never quite forgive Jacob for the distress he caused her. And while Jacob knows that Nellie needed support when he wasn’t there and he should be grateful that someone else was, some part of him resents Bill for “taking his spot” as Nellie’s big brother.
While Nellie focused her attentions on the way her friends had changed, Rakepick’s betrayal changed her as well. She hardly slept her entire 6th year, jumping at every sound and always looking over her shoulder. Her naivety, one of her defining characteristics, withered, leaving only wariness behind. She went from trusting everyone, to trusting no one.
