through a potent combination of autism, executive dysfunction, various other mental health phenomena, growing up poor, not having any money of my own, aromanticism and asexuality, and the opposite of an addictive personality; I do believe I am immune to most advertising

#im sure a lot of people say this but it’s not true #and im not saying I never fall for advertising #but I do think that many of my traits make common advertising techniques less effective on me #tarot.txt #any kind of romance/sex angle to ads fundamentally will not work on me #sex does not sell to me #the autism/execdys/mental health stuff make me chronically indecisive #growing up poor AND not having a job/making my own money means im constantly thinking about it and feel guilty over every purchase #and generally i don’t like get obsessed with things?? not in an active way at least like maybe in my brain but not physically #I don’t vape or smoke or drink or gamble or anything #also idk if it’s the autism or the chronic depression but a lot of the time I just have no feelings about things #im in a constant flux between hypo and hyperempathy #to the three people that read my posts hope u enjoy this
