5. how do they dress? what styles, colors, accessories, and other possessions do they favor? why?     he likes wearing anything that he deems as aesthetically pleasing!! he has limitations in terms of how much the clothes cost and tbh he doesn’t bother with fussing over his appearance very much (though i do think he makes an effort for special occasions, and he’s open to using cosmetics and the like if anyone were to ask him to), but yeah - he doesn’t follow trends, doesn’t care how others view him. if it passes his judgement and is beautiful in his eyes, he’ll be down to wear it. the main gripe he has in terms of fashion is that he doesn’t want to look sloppy. judging by his dancing all night costume (which i FIRMLY believe is very much his style lmao) he has his own unique taste in fashion and he sticks to it. he also really likes traditional clothes, and it’s interesting that goemon’s style blends a traditional kabuki style with a very modern, punk feel (the bright pink cheetah-print lined jacket, etc etc). i think that says a lot about yusuke himself.  16. do they dream? what are those dreams like?     he has a lot of nightmares. they’re mostly like… him re-living days with madarame. those eerie type of dreams that feel very real and routine, so he wakes up feeling confused and shaken. of course, they can heighten in their intensity and become surreal and horrible and all that. being locked in his atelier, trying to escape madarame’s shack and being unable to, being back in madarame’s palace or facing shadow madarame… The Works. 30. what is their preferred level of activity and stimulation? how do they cope if they get either too little or too much?     yusuke feels most comfortable when he’s close to activity but not necessarily participating in it - hence why people-watching is so appealing to him. he has no problem with crowds and likes doing activities that inspire him; he literally says that he loves lots of stimulation and he’s always searching for it. he’s good at removing himself from situations wherein he’s overwhelmed (like he literally just… leaves lmao) - though he has such a level head that those situations don’t happen often. i mentioned this in another reply but he tends to draw the line when stuff gets like… overly undignified. that being said, he does enjoy his quiet time during which he can focus on his private matters and paint and stuff, but u know. when he’s understimulated he gets really antsy and goes on lots of walks, taking matters into his own hands. if he’s very close to someone he might contact them and ask to hang out or search for inspiration with him. 36. how much do they rely on their minds and intellect, versus other approaches like relying on instinct, intuition, faith and spirituality, or emotions? what is their opinion on this?     yusuke relies so much on his emotions, but tbh he relies just as much on his pragmatism. he’s really good at keeping a level head in most situations - though not when it comes to artistic slumps (of course that’s only because he places a lot of pressure on himself re: art and he’ll get better with dealing with that anxiety in time). the reason why i was personally so pulled to yusuke as i played p5 is that he brings logic to the table but he also has such an eccentric manner of thinking that he doesn’t let himself get bogged down by that logic. he repressed his emotions for so long when he lived with madarame, so now he doesn’t want to act like they don’t exist. so basically, yusuke never casts his emotions aside when making any judgement; rather, he lets them inform his logic. one of my all-time favourite yusuke quotes is “try to recall your anger - it will guide you in the right direction.” that line sums up his thought process’ link to his emotions really well, i think. they’re like a clarifying force for him.
