imagine complaining ceaselessly that the writers hate your favorite character because they suffer at points in the show / experience emotional turmoil, only to Then turn around and get mad that the writers won’t show you your fave suffering through the effects of an illness / experiencing medical trauma.

#and saying other things like Simone’s arc weren’t necessary/shouldn’t have been included at the same time lmao #(was reminded of this because of a convo I just saw)#the arc wasn’t included in the book but neither was the actual process of Camila getting sick so.#like….. I hardly think it would make her ending better/less depressing to have to see that happen to her what do you even want-#part of me even wonders if what they actually want to see is Billy being there for Camila through that process..
