My main commentary on new Star Trek is that Ethan Peck will never be Leonard Nimoy and accordingly I need this franchise to have like 70% less Spock-centric storytelling. You Will Never Be Him.

there’s a lot of old paintings of people in tunics and stuff that have belts, and they are carrying things in the belts. and that is bc when you don’t have pockets, and only two arms, you roll up your map and shove it in your belt so you can stand around and eat roasted almonds.

#then you shove the funnel bag of almonds in your belt so you can clap when the joust guy lands on his face in the dirt #I have done this also with items in my apron at the plant convention. like my pockets were full so I put something btwn the string + my hip #tags or snippers in my shirtsleeves tied around the waist #etc etc #hat is a pocket also #socks too #anything is a holder if u believe

the funny thing about them trying to make us care about teddy/jodie is that I was more invested in teddy’s relationship with veronica

(veronica, if you very reasonably don’t remember her, was teddy’s girlfriend for two episodes in s36)
