You just know in ten years' time some overeducated fucker from Kazan or Volgograd or smth is going to lock himself up in a room and write an 800 page picaresque novel about this and we'll all have to grit our teeth whilst he gets considered the "Voice of his Generation" who has written "the Russian Catch-22" and is "in the Tradition of Tolstoy and Dostoevsky and Solzhenitsyn" and despite the death and the horror and the putrid imperialism of this war, they'll somehow find a way to frame it as this like. Rocambolesque adventure story full of twists and turns that is solely and completely about themselves. And it'll get translated into 55 languages in the first two years after publication and it'll get a movie adaptation or maybe even a miniseries.
