I think putting the discovery in the future was the smartest thing the writers could have done BUT I wish the first 2 seasons were super TOS-y with all the cringe “””technology””” that would come with it and then do the stuff they’re doing now with the tech and effects

#I’m watching s3 rn I’m halfway thru #I do like the silly little noises #I have some……… criticisms of the show overall but I like Michael and also my good friend from Broadway Anthony Rapp #also Tilly is such a fun character I think her character is the most Star Trek ™#also just got to the Leonard Nimoy moment and wept a little #my biggest disco beef is the uniforms and some of the costumes but I have felt this way for all trek post 2005 #(Aos movies are biggest offenders their uniforms are UGLIE)#also they were such weenies about the women’s uniforms like either go all the slutty way or don’t #don’t half ass it with whatever tf they put zoey saldana in #the alien/civilian uniforms in disco are really dope and fun #god looking at the Vulc-Omulans rn and the shoulder pads…… mama mia incredible
