One of Gene’s roles that I love a lot (besides Willy Wonka & Leo Bloom) is Jim the Waco Kid in Blazing Saddles! He’s so funny and looks soooo good in cowboy clothes!!! Gene is also wonderfully delightful as Sigerson Holmes in the movie The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ Smarter Brother!! He also does a dance called the Kangaroo Hop! It’s so cute and fun!
I’m also sending you a few lovely photos I have of Gene as Frederick Frankenstein!!
YES I LOVE JIM TOO!!! I am so happy to see him getting some love recently🩷🥹
I have to say, I was not a huge fan of Blazing Saddles itself, but Gene and Cleavon were worth watching the film as a whole. They made the movie what it was and, in my opinion, if it weren't for them it wouldn't have been as good. That being said, I ADORE Jim🩷🥰
I have yet to see The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ Smarter Brother, but I'll definitely check it out since you highly recommend it🥰🥰 Of course, I'll need to check for my triggers, but if it passes inspection, I'll give it a watch!
Thank you for all of these lovely pictures of Gene🥹😍 He is such a gorgeous gorgeous man! The photo of Jim sitting in the chair and the color photo of Frederick in front of the chalkboard are two of my favorite pictures of him🩷 Ugh I just want to give him the biggest squeeze🥰🤗

Without a Clue: Sherlock Holmes parody at its best!
I have read many times about the 1988 film, Without a Clue, starring Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley as Holmes and Watson, but I'd never seen it...until today. I recently discovered that the film was available to watch on YouTube, so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did, as it was really quite delightful! The premise of this Holmes parody seems as if it would be too silly: Watson (Ben Kingsley), a rather brilliant detective in his own right, has created the character of Sherlock Holmes as a cover for his crime solving work, and hired bumbling actor Reginald Kincaid (Michael Caine) to portray his creation. When the fake detective gets too cocky for his own good, Watson attempts to fire him, with hilarious results. They end up facing off against the infamous Moriarty, of course...
As I said, it seems silly, but the fact is, it all ends up working rather well as a comedy that parodies the source material, while presenting a fun, engaging story, with capable actors who pull it off with great humor. It doesn't rely nearly as much on slapstick comedy as an earlier Gene Wilder Holmes parody, The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother (1975), which I saw a few years ago and which disappointed me greatly. Without a Clue captured my attention, made me laugh, and impressed me with its fairly clever references to Sherlockian canon. Kingsley and Caine end up being a good team, despite their initial (and hilarious) animosity towards each other. Jeffrey Jones (the principal from Ferris Bueller's Day Off) is enjoyable as the conceited Lestrade, and the rest of the cast is quite good as well (including the late Peter Cook, in an appearance as Watson's publisher at the Strand Magazine). Really well worth my time! Recommended for all Holmes fans who like a good laugh.

If Sherlock siblings are welcome here, I'd like to put Enola Holmes (played by Millie Bobby Brown) and Sigerson Holmes (played by Gene Wilder in The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother, 1975).
Two never mentioned siblings of Sherlock Holmes- he sure has a lot of those!
Enola Holmes
And Sigerson Holmes!
Ok but Sherlock Holmes already has a smarter brother in the books. Can't you just make a story about Mycroft?
Also, I appreciate everyone's commitment to making sure any newly discovered Holmes siblings have equally silly names to the established two.
Also also, the versions of Sherlock Holmes himself that appear in these films will also be eligible, if anyone wants to submit them.

The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother (1975)
Уотсона же здесь играет Торли Уолтерс, который играет его уже в третий раз (до этого в Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace и в Silver Blaze с Пламмером).
