Okay, I really like Strange New Worlds. It’s got the great blend of funny and campy plots, but that sci-fi seriousness intrigue. I’m kinda happy they pivoted away from just “Serious universe ending threat!” and “OMG A PLOT TWIST!” kind of stuff they were doing, and went back to vibes of 80′s and 90′s Trek.

#neam watches #neam watches strange new worlds #star trek discovery REALLY stumbled with its first season for me #but they smoothed it out and it gained stride with season 2 #so far strange new world has been completely solid #i really love the actors they choose for tpring spock and uhura #the actress for tpring is PERFECTION for that character in my eyes #i wasnt sold on the actor for spock until i heard him speak and then i realized hes fantastic for the role #also the reintroduction to the gorn threw me way off #mostly cause i kept confusing them with goron #lmaoooo #i'm on episode 9 so far so good #hopeful for season 2
