hrryputation: 🚨 ATTENTION LOUIES FROM MY TWITTER!!
In this thread I will tell you how I got 2 t-shirts signed by Louis himself here in Brazil, how you can compete for these t-shirts and how this will support an institution that aims to help millions of deaf people in Brazil.
My brother, whose name is Luciano Quati, is the first deaf professional goalkeeper in the world. He has played for the Brazilian national football team for the deaf for 12 years. | 1 year ago, our family opened the Quati Institute, an institute that aims to help and support deaf children and adolescents in Brazil in various ways. We really needed to raise funds to help us carry out the institute's social projects, we just didn't know how. | Until in April, when Louis came to Brazil, my father had an idea that until then I considered almost impossible: what if we tried to get Louis to autograph an institute t-shirt so we could do a raffle among the fans? and after that it's just history. | We spent 1 month in negotiations with the help of @MoveConcertsBR and the WONDERFUL @refolgueral, I also want to express my HUGE gratitude for all their support and commitment because if it weren't for them this would never have happened. | and suddenly what was a distant dream ended up happening.
Louis found out about the institute, he was super happy and we were even more so. We asked Rebeca to give him a plaque of thanks and a t-shirt signed by the entire Brazilian team of deaf people.
details of the two t-shirts signed by him 🥺
(notice that he made a different signature than the other!!!)
To participate in the raffle it's very simple, it will be 25 reais each number, I'll be leaving the link below for those who can participate and for those who can't, just sharing this thread will be a HUGE help!!!

John Ross (Cherokee: ᎫᏫᏍᎫᏫ, romanized: guwisguwi) (October 3, 1790 – August 1, 1866), (meaning in Cherokee: "Mysterious Little White Bird"), was the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation from 1828 to 1866; he served longer in that position than any other person ...
Described as the Moses of his people, Ross influenced the nation through such tumultuous events as the relocation to Indian Territory and the American Civil War ...
John Ross:
Koo-wis-gu-wi
John Ross of the Cherokee C. 1866
Cherokee Nation Principal Chief
In office, 1829–1866
Preceded by: William Hicks
Succeeded by: William P. Ross
Personal details
Born: October 3, 1790, Turkeytown, Alabama
Died: August 1, 1866 (aged 75), Washington, D.C.
Resting place: Ross Cemetery, Cherokee County, Oklahoma
Spouse(s): Quatie Brown Henley (c. 1790–1839) Mary Brian Stapler (1826–1865)
Relations:
Great-granddaughter Mary G. Ross; Nephew William P. Ross; Niece Mary Jane (Ross) Ross
Children - 7 : James McDonald Ross, William Allen Ross, Silas Dean Ross, Jennie Ross, Annie Brian Ross, Allen Ross, John Ross, Jr.
Known for :
Opposition to Treaty of New Echota; Trail of Tears; Union supporter during American Civil War,
Ross was the son of a Cherokee mother and a Scottish father. His mother and maternal grandmother were each of mixed Scots-Cherokee ancestry but brought up in Cherokee culture, which is matrilineal. His maternal grandfather was a Scottish immigrant. At the time among the matrilineal Cherokee, children born to a Cherokee mother were considered part of her family and clan; they gained their social status from their mother. The Cherokee absorbed mixed-race descendants born to its women ...
As a result, young John was raised to identify as Cherokee, while also learning about colonial British society; he was bilingual and bicultural. His parents sent him for formal schooling to institutions that served other mixed-race Cherokee. (According to blood quantum policy of modern times, he would be counted as one-eighth Cherokee, but this misses how he identified and was acculturated.)
