Also I only know this because I'm going in with major spoilers, but well played by the writers of this game to introduce Blackquill as this scary convicted murderer who's only allowed in court because "the Chief Prosecutor requested it"

And at this point you're not supposed to know who the Chief Prosecutor IS--up to this point that title being brought up has always been a bad sign. So the revelation that it was Edgeworth's decision all along should make you retroactively go, "OH, I would have trusted Blackquill from the beginning if I'd known that!"

#Tyto plays AA #the POV rotating through different characters in this game is a real treat so far #I'm loving the way they've managed to reveal/show off different information depending on who you're playing as #(I worry it's going to ultimately result in Not Enough time with each character by the end of the game but it'll be fun for what it is)#(I'm fully resigned to not getting another chance to play AS Phoenix after the tutorial case because I refuse to get my hopes up)#(but that just means more of getting to see his shenanigans from Apollo's perspective which is a delight by itself)#(and what I presume is gonna be a significant amount of blank space for the fandom to fill. which is fine because that means more nrmt)
