In hindsight one reason I am glad I did not go through with the icepick lobotomy is that it would have been very unfortunate for Kas to lose that eye a second time
#current Eye Scar Lore is that the did in fact suffer a nasty injury in childhood that did leave it unusable for a period#it was magically healed eventually. but they did without for a while- just one more trial to prove themselves worthy of surviving#there was always a lot of guardians withholding aid and comfort before they were the Chosen#and the scar was left intentionally- just like every other old injury on their body#the Kasperia scar ref sheet was a nightmare to put together not just because I don't like assembling reference sheets but also because like#I realized that by the parameters I'd established myself 90% of their scars had to have occurred before age 12 or so#so all the notes about 'where is this from' are very. oof. that's young that's scary young#so sayeth emi#kasander#asperia (system)
