Here's Keerah! Aka: Princess Keerah! Aka: the Glass Princess! 😻

(Because she had a major back injury when she was about 3 y/o & the vet said to treat her like a piece of glass)

I love vampires! Especially good vampires! But I don't think of them as "monsters", so I dunno, but I guess that's probably 1st choice 😉

I figured I'd give alternatives & pretty you decide:

Vampire, Unicorn, Alien, Ghost, Fairy, Angel, Leprechaun

Also, I lived in Iceland & was born in Hawaii, so if you know of something relevant there, that'd be cool, too! 😊

In anticipation of spooky season, I want to draw your pets as monsters again. This is open to mutuals and half-mutuals ("you follow me, I follow your sideblog"), plus any others by special permission only. (If you don't fall under those categories, you're free to reblog anything I draw here, but don't make an art request; it won't get drawn.)

Initially, requests will be open for one week only, from 8 September 2023 to 14 September 2023; after that, I'll assess how things are going, and if I want to extend it. EDIT: It's now open until 21 September 2023; I'll consider on that day if I want to extend it again. Regardless of duration, all valid requests will get drawn and posted so long as I'm capable of doing so, even if that means that they be done once requests are closed.

To make a request, reblog this post with a photo of the critter you want drawn as a monster, and -- in the body of the post, not the tags -- include the critter's name and what kind of monster you'd like me to draw them as.

One critter per request, and only one request at a time; if you wish to make a subsequent request, wait until I've done and posted the current request. There's no inherent limit on the number of requests you can make, but I'd prefer that there be only one picture done per critter (that is, in this event; it is totally fine and also encouraged to request them here if I've drawn them in previous events).

For "monster", you can be general or specific, but I need something to work from, even if it's just the vibes you want for the thing, in order to draw it.
