She didn't even remember how long she'd been in here at this point.

V sat in the corner of the landing pod, completely wrapped up in an oil-splattered blanket. Her claws were out, digging into her arms as so many thoughts raced through her processor, and felt many emotions in her core. How ironic, the one who claimed to feel nothing so long ago was now reduced to a weeping mess.

So many popups were on her screen as she dug her claws deeper into her arms, it was a surprise she was not denting herself very badly.

...his voice. Hearing his voice seemed to make all of the popups go away, if only for a moment. V slowly looked up from the floor towards the entry hatch, a look of bewilderment on her muzzle. He... wanted to talk? But why? It sounded too good to be true, why would he want to talk to her after everything she'd done? He probably hated her with every fiber of his being.

"V, you kinda suck."

Remembering that sentence made her want to snap, and rip up the landing pod from the inside out. It probably wouldn't be too far out there to believe that he would be happier without her in his life. He certainly seemed to be, now that he had that purple worker by his side....

But even if it WAS too good to be true, V wasn't going to repeat this vicious cycle of being so cruel to him. So, with the blanket still draped over her, she slowly got up, climbed up the ladder, and used her claws to slowly open the entry hatch until he could see her eyes, the regret and pain she felt being clear as day.

"...You mean it?"
