parker in the 10 li'l grifters job is delightful. she's dressed up as nancy drew. she's laughing at her boys being so cranky about letting sophie dress them up too. she only cares if nate killed someone and didn't tell them, not if nate actually killed someone. "there's something weird about these hallways. the dimensions are off." "wha- huh- the dimensions are off????" (<- actual genius alec hardison who can't see the world the way parker sees it) "do you have that thing with enclosed spaces?" *disappears into the walls* eliot has to adapt to a thief/grifter role and keeps assaulting the guests because parker's too busy exploring the secret corridors to pick pockets. she's having a blast and so am i

Watching S4: E1 of Leverage—The Long Way Down Job—I realized that this conversation between Nate and the victim basically encapsulates Nate's entire arch for this season. And E2—The 10 Li'l Grufters Job—sets the stage for Nate's final confrontation in the finale. I love the way this show will start kinda light-hearted and then build to gut-wrenching.

Note
sophie as Irene Adler = everything to me
thats so real!! she puts so much effort into her costuming
the fact that she chose that costume for herself for the party despite irene not even being a detective just because she's "the only woman smarter than sherlock holmes" is so silly of her

Thinking today about “The 10 Li’l Grifters Job” and how Parker was only concerned that Nate would tell them if he killed someone and not if he actually did it. Because she knows if he did it would probably be for a good reason and he would need to tell them so they could get him out of it.

I just finished ‘The 10 Li’l Grifters’ Job but don’t have time for a reblog spree. I have to go get ready for work and then drive through all this ice on the ground. Wish me luck. Texas drivers are the worst.

Can we just talk about how cute it is when Hardison calls Parker "Woman!" with a mixture of annoyance, concern, and love.

Leverage Episode Battle
The Inside Job: Season Three, Episode Three. While working a theft on behalf of her father figure and mentor Archie Leach, Parker becomes trapped somewhere in a forty-story building with a state-of-the-art security system, and the team must scam their way in to save her before she gets caught and arrested by the security staff.
The 10 Li'l Grifters Job: Season Four, Episode Two. A mark is killed during a masquerade ball in an isolated mansion, which leads to Nate becoming the prime suspect in a classic whodunit mystery, forcing the team to find out who killed their mark while also ensuring that Nate doesn't go down for a crime he didn't even commit.

I’m getting such bad second hand embarrassment from Sophie and Nate trying to act like the murder did not happen and that it’s actually part of the murdered dude’s game

Re-watching The 10 'Li'l Grifters Job and it always makes me chuckle that Eliot is jealous of Hardison's costume.
Eliot "Why'd you have to dress me up like Howdy Doody?
Sophie: "Actually, Charlie Siringo was a real life cowboy and a Pinkerton detective."
Eliot "Why couldn't you have picked me something normal, like Hardison?"
Hardison "Excuse you?"
