so fucking frustrated with the US intersex advocacy community right except for like. five people (you know who u r and ily) like. cannot fucking believe some of the shit i'm seeing people say and the absolute like. disregard for what it means to say we are fighting for liberation. im going to lose my fucking mind i don't even want to participate in the intersex awareness day shit i had planned because what the fuck is the point

Honouring Te Tiriti / Decolonisation
Tauiwi mō Matike Mai Aotearoa | Non-Māori for ending colonisation is a forum for building the movement of tauiwi (non-Māori) supporting treaty-based constitutional transformation as envisaged by Matike Mai Aotearoa.
Asians Supporting Tino Rangatiratanga is a group of tauiwi from various Asian backgrounds who support tino rangatiratanga and mana motuhake for the Indigenous peoples of Aotearoa.
I also urge you to check out Te Tiriti Based Futures + Anti-Racism and especially their information on Exploring Co-Governance. The Treaty Resource Centre also provides important information on Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Socialism
International Socialist Organisation Aotearoa is the national branch of an international org pushing for a socialist alternative to our current political system.
Organise Aotearoa is another socialist org that draws its kaupapa from the concepts and practices of tikanga, tino rangatiratanga, and mana motuhake, and their expressions in He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Anarchism
Tamaki Makaurau Anarchists is an anarchist org based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. They believe in a society free from oppressive hierarchical systems, such as the state and capitalism.

Disabled Persons Assembly New Zealand is run by and for disabled people with all types of impairments. They work on systemic change for the equity of disabled people.
Deaf Aotearoa is a national organisation representing the voice of Deaf people, and the national service provider for Deaf people in Aotearoa.
Trans Rights
Trans Liberation Alliance is a Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland based collective working towards the liberation of trans, irawhiti, and gender non-conforming people across the motu.
RainbowYouth is a national org which provides support, information, resources and advocacy for queer, gender diverse, takatāpui and intersex young people across Aotearoa.

Prison Abolition
People Against Prisons Aotearoa is a national prison abolitionist org. our work will be especially important in the coming term as we combat the right's horrifically punitive policy goals around gangs and youth.
The Prisoner Correspondence Network is affiliated with PAPA and helps connect people in prisons with penpals outside the system. You can sign up to be a penpal from anywhere in the country. Check Facebook for upcoming Holiday Card Drives as well!
Just Speak is a youth-based movement for transformational change of the criminal justice system.

As much as I want to wallow in despair in bed hungover, the sentiment is going around that is completely right: we’re going to have to take this L, mobilise and actually have our leftie groups on the ground doing something.
Concept: putting together a google doc with multiple segments based on region + issue (see: climate change + environmental, indigenous rights, housing rights, food crisis) with information on local grassroots groups in those regions, how to contact them, how to donate. Information on people who report on issues in those regions, who has their pulse on political comings and goings so nothing gets missed.
