#the affordable rental lotteries in nyc are such a fucking scam why tf are these buildings getting tax breaks for this to build#like... one popped up 3 blocks from us so i looked it up..........and#the ''affordable'' units are literally 1k more a month than our rent stabilized place#and...... smaller?#bruh wtf#like the only positive thing is there's in unit w/d but our building has a w/d we can use in a pinch#and... 1k and a smaller place does NOT make up for the money and time we spend at the laundromat#sooooooooooo?????? why would anyone do that instead of finding a pre-war rent stabilized? like#i think it's easier to get into an apt like ours than the lottery anyways LOL#personal
