I’m not going to work on Icarus today, and I have to get the pressure off my brain that is WRITEWRITEWRITE.

Let's talk about Fantasy Species/Races/Whateverthetermis! I have...8 in my ThaumWIP.

Ovis: Deer/Satyr folk, who have long intricate antlers and long thin faces. Their bodies vary from short stocky and thick to long thin and fragile. They balance themselves on bipedal hooves and their torso is very human albeit very hairy. 

Anoka: Fluid formless creatures that live inside chiton shells that they grow and shed. The ones who live above the water’s surface usually have thick water-tight suits built for them or build a develop a painful exoskeleton. 

Torriad: Avian humanoids with six appendages,  two long bony legs, two thin smaller arms, and two large wings. They’re one of the most adapted kind having several breeds across their species.

Humans: Primates who are bipedal and usually prone to infighting among their varied breeds. 

Zorian: Amphibious humanoids with long retractable collars that just so happen to be their lungs! They’re a very rustic species in small number who tend to live in adobe and clay houses built near or into the banks of rivers.

Rakasha: Humanoid Lizards, thin bodies with fragile bones and a hunched spine, their tails are used for balance. those who lose their tails are forced to walk on all fours until it grows back. They’re incredibly smart but culturally reserved.

Dyne: A peculiar humanoid that looks very much like most humans aside from being much, much larger. They’re rumored to have been the children of a great wolf who was larger than any other, in fact, some claim to have the ability to become such wolves at will.

Panthyne: A Nimbler race of humanoids with birthmarks on their body to match breed, they can be in various lengths and patterns of lines or spots. They’re far more nimble than most humanoids and have large round eyes and large fanning ears.

❤️what’s the working title? Thaumaria (Mintchild, Warlord, and Orphaned are the tentative subtitles)

🧡what were the previous titles/ideas? Blood and Magic/ The Tales of Sazazel/ The Mancer. The subtitles are based on respective MCs.

💛what’s the title based on? Thaumage alchemy. It’s likely to change.

💚how long have you been working on it? Seven years ; w;

💙How has the idea changed between starting and where it is now? It started as a horror story I sent my cousin and ex about a pyromancer and a necromancer duo trying to find apprentices. It’s evolved into a major world building black hole that has absorbed most of my creativity.

💜where are you in the writing process? Plotting and Outlining. I’ve been world building for seven years...I’m done tweaking.
