@teanmoon's CC Guides - Includes tutorials on cloning, uv_1, weights, bump and specular maps, bi-color hair, and a Blender Cheat Sheet. High poly 'creators' have little excuse to churn out high poly, non-optimized garbage when they can lean on bump maps. (I know those can only do so much for more complex meshes, but for objects, texture maps can do SO much heavy-lifting).

All right, this took a few days to compile and I'm hoping it is complete as of the Crystal Creations Stuff Pack (or today's date whichever is easier to remember). I plan to update this as new skills become available and will then post the date at the top of this post.

Notes about this list: - I did not include hidden skills - I have tested this on a completely new, mod-free save. - Most of the skills were tested using skill books, but a few required an object to learn. {For example for my teen to learn writing it required the journal. Not sure if the computer would work or not) - All children skills were obtained at skill lvl 1 for Creativity, Mental, Motor, and Social. I did not need to max them to learn the listed skills - These are sorted by what age the skill unlocks - Mods might change the availability time of some skills depending on the mod - Lastly, and most importantly, I'd like to thank ThatSimsLady for her mass copypasto'ing for me and SrslySims for her pack abbreviation resource tool. Without them this skill guide would have taken a LOT longer to create.

Eli's Simblreen 2022 Masterpost

Thank you everyone who sent Delta and I asks the past 2 weekends! We really enjoyed the cheesy jokes and nice messages!

Week 1

On day 1, I shared this silly Bony Hands Skirt set. I was inspired after @thatsimslady sent me the pic on the left and knew it would be a great addition to the game.

Day 3 was a small CAS set for kids. First, the Hallow-onesies set, a 5 piece recolor of a kids' Get Together pajama, great for watching scary movies in.

Day 4's Have A Sweet ottomans seemed like a good candidate for some Halloween recolors. Originally an SE mesh, I've made them base game compatible.

And finally, here's the treat I was most excited to share, my Spooky Mingos as they appear to be called at retail? I saw these guys IRL one time and they're so silly. Skeleton flamingo is one of my favorite Inexplicably Skeletal Animals for Halloween time. I upscaled & cleaned up the original flamingo texture, and then painstakingly hand painted the skeleton swatch. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Or as one of my 5th graders says "That song that starts slow, but gets fast!" 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝: The Chosen I've been working through season two and man it is HILARIOUSLY funny and touching at the same time. Okay so I’m still trying to work out the details of what exactly is going on with the Sims 4 cc/modding controversy and what’s legit and what isn’t, but I do want to raise awareness over it for people who play the Sims 4 and use mods/cc so they know that Something Is Going On.

The general gist is that some modders have been putting stuff behind paywalls indefinitely, which is against EA/Maxis’s policies (and also kind of a dick move in general), and when people responded by sharing the paywalled mods on other sites for free, the paywallers responded by doing some Shady Stuff in order to track down the “leakers.” How shady the stuff is seems to depend on who you ask (anything from putting ID numbers into meshes to including malware in downloads), but there’s a substantial amount of evidence that these Paywallers are using information that they get from their patrons (like names, email addresses, subscriber numbers, etc) and using them maliciously. There’s talks about block-lists of alleged “leakers”, accusations of doxxing, and alleged harassment both online and offline.

Basically it’s a shit show.
