i am experiencing stress!!!!!!! wow!!!!!!!!
#mj talks#so!!!! for those unaware!!! which is likely literally everyone reading these tags bc i don't talk about my personal life on here!!!#i have caught the covid. not a bad case!!! no trouble breathing or change in taste or smell#just. i have a cough and a pretty low-grade fever and plenty of exhaustion#which is why i've been so active lately but that's beside the point!#the point is that when i got tested last week tuesday the doctor told me to stay home until my fever was resolved for 24 hours#and mostly i feel okay now!! still have a cough and that good good fatigue but i feel overall not like a pile of miserable slime#my fever is still there though. low grade at around 99.7-99.4 F but th#thats still higher than normal. i run cool. im usually at like 97.7 or something#and my work keeps texting me and asking how much longer i'll be!!!!#idk dude i have the plague!!!!#i get that you are short-staffed and that childcare in general is pretty in-demand right now#and i'm sorry that you're struggling to fit enough teachers into classrooms#but I Have The Plague. do you really want me to be around preschoolers before the doctor clears it???#do you think i'm staying at home for fun?????#do you think i'm risking the goodwill of the only job i've actually enjoyed for AMUSEMENT?????#i feel so guilty staying home when i very honestly feel mostly okay!! but i do not want to risk any of my kids#i think i'm fine but i took a short walk yesterday and had to lay down for the rest of the afternoon#and today my fever is higher than it was yesterday!!! hmmmm mj maybe that's connected to the time you spend walking in the cold and snow!!!#anyway. guilt from job. i staunchly do not want to go in until my fever is resolved but Good God do i feel guilty about that#'CDC says you only have to stay home 5 days' CDC is a spineless organization. this is a deadly pandemic and i work with young children#i would expect the directors to understand that but. alas.
