as for ur question, the smut scene that was omitted from part 2 was actually the shower scene with jk in the earlier part of part 3. tlp finale was supposed to start with the scene where oc was at her sisters and jins place – so yeh, it doesnt really have a significant change for the entire plot! i just cut it out bcs tlp 2 was getting too long! Like for example. Many monster hunter games have exclusive mechanics. Tri/Tri ultimate has water combat. Generations/Generation ultimate has styles(valor for the win btw). World has the slinger and clutch claw, and rise has the wirebugs!

There’s kind of like two “lore paths” in monster hunter. One stemming from concept art of the first game. It features things like a war between the humans and dragons, the equal dragon weapon (a robot made of elder dragons to kill elder dragons), and hunters being super human descendants of the civilization that built the EDW + was the in the war w the dragons. This really isn’t actually canon since it was only ever in concept art for the first game, but some still try to fight tooth and nail to say it’s canon, and you’ll occasionally see articles online trying to say it’s canon. Then there’s the canon lore of like.. nothing. Like iirc the really only canon lore monster hunter has is castle scrade. In which some ancient civilization got burned down by fatalis, and that’s become the arena you fight it in. But like besides that, the talking cats, the wyverians, the mix of tech that gives you bowguns and blimps alongside giant greatswords made of bone and like bow and arrows. Which is like.. fine, to me. As much as I love lore heavy games, it really doesn’t fit the theme and mood of monster hunter. It’s goofy and fun!

Monster hunter is wildly popular in Japan! They’ve had Japan only releases such as monster hunter dos and portable 3rd. As well as getting unique content such as quests and armor. They even have a universal studios area, which has some really fucking cool stuff in it..I’m jealous

And my last little fact. Monster hunter has a huge variety of things that are classified as monsters! You’ve got giant birds such as malfestio, snakes the size of mountains, giant bunnies, multiple fish with legs, legit just a bear, and mean evil cats who want to slice you to death. This variety really works in the series favor, you almost always have something different you can fight. And that doesn’t even include the deviants or subspecies, or the difficulty increases such as tempered or EX monsters.

i mean, it was just perfect??? absolutely and 100% PERFECTION!! the cast, the acting, the costumes, the cinematography, the editing, the scripts, THE GOAT 😭👏👏👏 I'm so Fucking impressed with every single person who was apart of making this because my fucking god that was a fantastic adaption! literally my only problem is that some character development of the crows was brought forward (mainly Inej and Kaz yknow) so I'm like, well if we get up to that point later whats gonna happen? but like its not something im Worried about cause I trust itd be handled well regardless. the whole show felt just like Leigh's books, the entanglement of everyones stories and perspectives building on each other for the overall narrative.

I may add to this post when I rewatch (probably tomorrow cause my brain is gonna be a broken record on this show for a long time) but I'm just so impressed with all of the choices for the show and ig ill just bullet point the ones that are sticking with me at the end of it all rn:
