in general it feels like the sonic fandom is always taking aspects of knuckles' personality and character and relationship with sonic and giving them to shadow instead and acting like knuckles doesnt exist its so tragic to see

#this isnt Just about shipping but i see it the most in the context of shipping #like theres the whole thing i was talking about of people reskinning knuckles into shadow #butive also seen people say so/nadow and so/nknux are basically the same and like . no they arent !??!!?!?!?#you can not honestly play the games and tell me that thats the same relationship copy pasted .........................#they do have their similarities sure considering shadow and knuckles are both sonics rivals #but its not the same ... like talking about their canon relationshipsonic and knuckles are a lot closer friends than sonic and shadow are #thats not me trting to argue over who sonic should date or whatever btw imliterally just making an observation
