anyway. tried to politely let my sister in law know that almost all of her plants (many of which are succulents) are drowning and that they were mostly so wet that i didn't water them at all in the 3 weeks they were gone and she argued with me about it like ma'am you are waterboarding them. "many of them are thriving!" they are fighting for their little lives and literally falling apart from root rot. stop treating your houseplants like a woman accused of being a witch in the 17th century

#i have like 25 houseplants which as of my last seeing them were 90% doing great and i have done a neurotic amount of googling on all of them #so like. on this one i'm not talking out of my ass #and i was trying to save her poor plants! they are almost all going to die at this point #she had a cute little gasteria in low light sitting in water....i relocated him to the window and dumped out his no drainage pot #thats half the problem is almost none of her pots have drainage holes. and a lot of them weirdly have like 1/3 the dirt they need?#like the issues are extremely glaring and severe to me and i dont understand why other people don't see this. many such cases #me
