i looooveeee everything abt him tbh, but i think probably the thing that makes me the most fond of him is that he reminds me a lot of myself in the way he processes things and makes decisions, sorting them into good or bad

“Hey Beth, should we call him?” I say over to my Co worker, I look at the door waiting seeing if he might come in also hearing for her response. “I guess so, it’s been like-what? 20 minutes?” She replied sighing and not looking up from her papers on people’s polysomnography results “okay.” I reach over to our work phone and wait for her to say his number “it’s-“ she got cut off from the door opening roughly. I look up and see and quite pretty man, his hair was messy he was wearing a black shirt that had some design on it, a brown jacket and dark jeans.

“Um-“ he looked at the door and he carefully closed it. “-sorry!” He said quickly, he looked at the ground and walked over to the counter and rested his arm on there. “Oh-no it’s fine I do that sometimes…heh” I say nervously and look at him. “Um-name please?”

“Oh yea..it’s Stu Miley.” He said tiredly.

It took me a second to realize “follow me to your room.” And get out behind the counter cubicle along with some paper work and being walking towards the room. I looked behind me to see him walking behind me with his hands in his pockets, looking around the place.  I stop in front of his room and lean and to turn on the light and walk in and jester him to mini bed and I sit down gathering my paperwork in order to take notes and ask questions to him. “ok so let’s start off,”

“How any hours do you normally get sleep?” I ask looking at him with my pen in my head waiting for his response. “Um…usually 4 hours, if I’m lucky then 6.” He says. “Oh ok..” I take some time to write it down and look back up at him. “Your doctor you said that you have nightmares a lot?” I ask in a soft voice.  He seems to shift a little bit slightly uncomfortable. he hums in response.

“I can tell your uncomfortable talking about that..but just one more question ok? Promise” I say truthfully, trying to get him to relax a little bit.

“How bad do they usually get, Is it to a certain point you can’t wake up Or, you can wake up, but you just can’t fall back asleep?” I ask him

“Oh..um where I can’t wake up” he says looking at me up and down quickly.

“Okay” and I wrote down his answer on my paper.

“Welp I kept my promise no more questions” I look up at him and smile and stand up and set down my clipboard.

*few minutes later*

I finished setting him up with the sticker monitors.

“Ok there! Now all you have to do is sleep” I walk back and turn off the lights, I start to walk to the window to close the shades, “there we go-“ I started to say before I could finish-

i am asking you about your ocs. i need to know Everything about them (or just talk about any oc that you'd like)

Okok so i've got a whole google doc about them but its basically incomprehensible without the extra context thats only in my head so here's the (hopefully) more coherant version: (under the cut because its kinda long)

So basically these are all from an original story that i've been developing for like. a while now. I dont know how long.

First off: some basic worldbuilding. So there’s a mortal realm and a spirit realm. Basically when someone dies they’re given five years as a ghost to tie off any loose ends. The only people that can see ghosts are people connected to said loose ends. After the five years are up, a ghost can apply for an extension if the loose ends still aren’t tied up, but they are rarely accepted.

Spirits are immortal beings that live in the spirit realm. Their job is to watch over the ghosts in the human realm, and run the real afterlife.

Anyways those are the basics now its time to talk about my kids. I’m sorry if this doesn’t make any sense I’ve got a lot of thoughts

First: Cat (they/them) my beloved. My firstborn. They win the award of most doodles in my sketchbook. Cat only dresses in big jackets and long pants even in hot weather. They go to arizona one time and they almost die of heatstroke. They’re a bisexual disaster. Contrary to popular belief they’re actually the only reason the squad hasn’t been arrested yet.

Ellie: (all pronouns) Ellie is not her actual name, but their real name is incomprehensible to mortal beings. Ellie is a Spirit, sent to the mortal realm as punishment for accidentally bringing a human back to life. They are very clearly Not human but yet somehow no one seems to notice. Anyways when he’s sent down to earth Ellie lands right in Cat’s backyard.

Caleb (he/they): caleb is my son. Also the more i develop him as a character the more he turns into simmons rvb but that wasnt on purpose these characters have been in my head since before I watched rvb. Anyways caleb claims to be the brain cell of the group but the data disagrees with that. Inside of school they're the teacher’s pet and never do anything wrong but outside of school he is just completely insane. (like me). He has moral values but no one can actually figure out what they are. Oh also they're trans btw. (all of my ocs are trans unless explicitly stated otherwise)

Emily (she/her): she’s the actual brain cell of the group. However this does not make her any less of a disaster, it just means that when it counts she stops them from getting killed. Most of the time. She has her charisma stats maxxed out, which is how she avoids detention. Fun facts she has two dads and one of them is a professional pastry chef and so she gets the squad free desserts all the time.

Nathan (he/him): nathan is the ghost that haunts the squad’s high school. He was killed by the higher beings in charge of the spirit realm because he saw things that he wasn’t supposed to see. But they still gave him the five years thing. And so he’s stuck as a ghost until either a) five years pass, or b) he figures out his loose ends.

But then caleb and emily and cat are hanging out in the school basement for reasons and they find him. And they can see him, which they aren’t supposed to do. But they decide that he’s their friend now and part of the squad. And they use nathan to pull a whole bunch of pranks on the student body.

And nathan understandably doesn’t trust ellie at first, but eventually he warms up to her. Eventually.

So basically the whole plot thing is they go on a quest to stop corruption in the afterlife because theyre like. Huh this whole thing is kind of messed up. And half of the plot is high school shenanigans the other half is murder mysteries and ghost hunting.

(btw nathan and caleb are in love. Its a whole tragic love story thing but i Will give them a happy ending)

also if i ever do make this into a webcomic like i want to it would be titled "Teen Spirit"

(strilonde harleybert things are interesting and fun... dirk is dave's estranged older brother who helped him leave houston + bro... roxy is dirk's best friend + rose's big sister figure but they aren't bio related... jane + john's parents work in nyc and are mostly absent.) vriska + jake + dirk + jade all work at the nearby chasm which is a park/tourist attraction... there's weird things happening all the time.. the town feels. bad. wrong. haunted. people forget things. weird things wash up on the riverbanks. (<- there is a river. very important.) there's yellow eyes in the forests and noises from the chasm sometimes. i think like, maybe four months before rose + dave move there, something Happens & aradia disappears (her body isn't found, but her phone & jacket are)... this, unlike in hs canon, has a terrible effect on their friend group & there's a lot of messy interpersonal drama & horror/occult vibes (shhhhh skaia is terrifying doc scratch is horrifying etc) terezi reads tarot.... roxy has a big jacket with so many patches... karkat has a fucking terrible piece of junk car that's their mystery van. ANYWAY sorry this was a terribly long disjointed ramble but thanbk u very much for letting me infodump :] i'm thinking maybe it would be like. a monster of the week type beat. with slow plot developments. like a cartoon yk? >:3

so my family is doing a memorial day camping fun weekend right and we’re gonna be on a boat and i asked my mom what all i needed to bring and she said a bathing suit and i was like im not gonna wear a bathing suit and she was like why ? and internally i was like you fucking know why but externally i said nothing and she was like, is it cuz u dont wanna shave? and i dodged the question and said shaving is too much work, because thats also true

and like thirty mins later she comes into my room and asks me if im “okay” with my legs. i mean, im not, but thats because i born into a role in society where i was constantly told it was disgusting and i should get rid of it, and also because i KNOW i dont pass so people will see them and just think im a disgusting girl, so. but i dont really feel like explaining that, so i say, “theyre fine. why.”

and my mom takes this like big deep breath and says that if i wanted to wear a bathing suit that i didnt have to make the decision not to because of them, because THEY think my legs (me) are disgusting, and if i wanted to just, like, trim them, that’d be okay too, or whatever i wanted. 

it wasnt even a bad interaction. i mean, ok, my parents having to tell me that this is a “big step” for them was annoying as fuck, but it wasnt even bad, but it still made me so fucking upset for like no godamn reason at all!!! i cant even explain why this conversation made me want to cry but it did, so bad, like, why did they tell me at TEN PM THE NIGHT BEFORE WE LEAVE and not, i dont know, a REASONABLE TIME, why did they have to have this conversation with me at all! why do they keep ACTING like this just all the time, i dont know how to explain how they act, its just like, im such a fucking hard time, im so hard to deal with, they have to take “big steps,” and even though i would really like to trim my legs i CANT because i’d just be even more of a fucking weirdo than i already am. i constantly feel like an alien in my own home and half the time cant even begin to explain why!!!

But the stupid-ass employers that took over the morning shift didnt see where she wrote it down, nor did the employers at the 3pm afternoon shift. But I got that fixed when the same night shift employer came the next night. This was the first weekend after I came on the 20th, the day after. The weekend went smooth, even tho I found out something alarming on Saturday (We'll get back to that later on) I got the one-time prescribed medication from 21 to 24-25 June. Then my doc suddely cut me down from 14-15 pills of 5 mg Vival/Valium daily to 8 pills a day which I said ok to because I didn't actually realize how fast and how big of a dosage reduction that was. And after a couple of days I got so frustrated by the withdrawals and I Sheldon got one-time prescribed medication, which made everything else worse. And I complained over and over again, but nothing happened. because I started to slam doors, bang my head on the wall, throw stuff around and knotted my door so no one could see me cry, I even ended up locking myself in the closet since that was a normal rutine for me when i was in my teens, and had depression + anxiety. Finally on July 6 I got to speak to both my incompetent doc and head doctor. I explained to her what happened, and that my doctor didnt even bother to check my prescribed history so he could see for himself what he did to me. I didn't even know why I reacted the way I reacted, but realized it 6-7 days later, as in July the 1st. But didn't get it fixed before the head doctor came into the picture and said it herself, that the dosages I've been on before I came inn here then the big dosage reduction on so short timing was dangerous and deadly. So she upped my dosage to 14 pills a day 70 mg Vival/Valium.

So I confessed that some people (patients) gave me extra because they saw how bad i had it, I freeze soo much I start to shake. and I hid it away til I felt the withdrawals coming. Even though it's not allowed to hide away pills and store them, the other payients saw how badly I had it.

• 4. I meet this lovely lady, and she gives me this mom vibe. I'm afraid of leaving here, which might happen on monday. It's seldom for me to meet people like her. And I wish i could spend more time with her than being cooped up in my room thinking about everything negative. Stressing about my phone being hacked by someone I thought was my bestfriend, she lured me to Oslo to use up my money, break my brand new phone just to get acess to my sim. And even though I changed sim when I got my other phone, how stupid was I to let her use my phone yet again. And while she needed to watch when i used her phone with my effin sim, I couldn't watch when she used my phone.

• 5. I don't remember when it was last time i actually smiled or laughed without it being fake.

6. So I just found out that when I was in a coma for 3 days, and in the hospital for atleast 1 week, my family in the Philippines used up my money. When i specifictly told them to take out the money if they didn't get any contact from me in 5 days. But me, in a coma and all they think about is them self? When I already told them before I went back to Norway that I won't, I can't send them any more money I need to focus on paying down my debt/loan. And those 84k php would have helped alot. But no, how selfish.. even though I've sacreficed so much just to see the kids and my family in the Philippines happy makes me happy. But thinking about spending the money when I was in a coma? I should have never woken up. How is it that I can't be selfish but everyone else can? I felt betrayed, no I still feel betrayed. Even tho one of my sister gave some of it back. When my father called when I was blacked out the other one had used up everything. But when I called she said she had 20k left. How can they lie? I've lost everyone now. Only one left and she's in Canada.

7. It feels like deja vu. Atleast why couldn't you just delete our relationship when you broke up, I couldn't.. then I decided to go to rehab/detox because we we're still 'official' on fb when you already moved on as fast as my x. But insisting that you wouldn't, and promises I said don't promise. Did it take you a week, two or three to find a new bf? I know I won't get an answer from you, since the way you spoke on the phone and when I tried asking you to give me a reason, you sounded angry. Like you wanted me as far away as possible.

8. I feel like I cant write anymore, even though I have alot to say. I want to move faar away, where no one can reach me and I can't reach them. I want to be isolated, alone. Times where I want to do something illegal just to get put in jail.. I could confess to something I didn't do and get payed. Because it needs to be serious or I'll end up at where im going. Violence, murder even Kidnapping, just not underage, and a good reason. From Norway btw so, you know what to if you need something.

My stuffs are already packed. But I only need my bag, not my clothes, just my wallet, shoes, jacket, memorable items, smoke, her hair tie, snus, charger, phone and thats it.

The last two days ive been packed and ready to go.

• Good news, I'll be able to travel, even on medication, and my debt might just be erased, cut down, remove the interest or atleast the money I owe to the goverment.
