i need more reference books
#on like. everything tbh#i simply like to browse through them. flip to a random page and learn a thing. they are so good#the propaganda tvs at work (theyre just tvs that cycle through like company history & events & shit) were showing one for a while#thats apparently from the smithsonian & its just all about different trees & i want it sooooo bad#but its HUGE and like fifty dollars .#i ended up buying a book about victorian flower language instead. its not Factually Correct in some aspects but it is interesting#(i mostly justify this as pretending its written from the point of view of someone from that time period. like its not. but i pretend it is)#i wish books werent so expensive :( yeah i know libraries exist but the thing about reference books is i can just have them around#& pick them up whenever & just read a small part & not have to like. set aside time to read The Whole Thing & then hope i Remember It#like. u know. its in the name i want to be able to Reference it whenever i want
