I was talking to my dad about TS2's performance, though mostly just about PC performance in general, and he said the 4 sticks of RAM he put in my computer helps it "chug along smoother" compared to 2 sticks of RAM (that's probably debatable, that's just the thing he said lol)

so I said TS2 only uses 2GB unless you force it to use 4GB with the patcher, and he said the RAM he put in my PC "optimizes more bandwidth use"

at first I was like wtf does that even mean lol until I read how bandwidth is basically just how quickly the CPU can read the RAM.

so that's cool, but still idk what that means (for my own PC use at least). other than maybe I'm less likely to hit a bottleneck or whatever.

I still remember when GTA 4 came out for PC, I forget what my parts were like back then but I was such the tiniest smidgen away from the absolute rock bottom bare minimum requirements that I literally couldn't exit the game without restarting my computer. I could play it, but the processing power or whatever required to navigate the menu and close the game was beyond my PC's capabilities at the time lol.
