Would I be shot to death if I said TPOT is better at writing certain emotional/serious moments than Inanimate Insanity (though it is on a case by case basis).
#tpot#inanimae insanity#the power of two#ii neg#just putting that just in case#bfdi#i legit think this kinda is mainly bc Sam is strangely good at writing emotional dialogue despite all the criticism thrown at him that is#one thing he's undeniably good at#you can see it in post split#i also think tpot has a strangely good atmosphere for those serious moments there is more subtlety and like#the fact inanimate insanity is more blatantly serious does kneecap its emotional moments from having impact#can you tell that i rlly liked tpot 16 LOL#i just love the way tpot does emotional scenes there is some kind of secret sauce they put in those#that's also why i loved tpot 10 the writing on the black hole and fanny conversation felt so like#meaningful in a strange way even though we're talking about such a seemingly silly conflict on a surface level
