I´m in need of some angsty headcanons, since i dreamed about this particular scenario… How would the kings (who are deeply in love) react after discovering that his beloved MC is madly in love with one of their most faithful subordinates? MC has rejected their romantic advances before, but they are only now realizing why… And that… Hurts. I imagine would be Satan-Sitri, Beel-Bael, Levi-Foras, Mammon-Bimet?, Luci-Marbas? Haha yeah it's the version of Gordon Freeman from Half Life VR but the AI is Self Aware. He gets called it exactly once and the community more or less uses it to tag him without clogging the Half Life tags. I might just change it to Wayneradiotv, the streamer who played Gordon, but that feels weirder than saying a singer or a fictional character, yknow?

It's not pressuring dw if anything it's motivation!! Half of what's keeping me going is the thought of all of Lyra's info FINALLY being out there for people to see as well as information about the campaign :) It's just a lot to think about and work through at once haha

What's been keeping me going is hopping between tabs and doing little edits here and there that'll eventually culminate into something functional and complete ^^ The only downside is that I often forget there's bits I left for myself, like Ioun's description being 'fucka you' in Arc 4, which is fixed now lol I would've left it in cause it's just placeholder text because this code is A MONSTER to view in the editor, there's a lot of repeats so it's REALLY HARD to tell where you are, but it's like. Literally the opposite of Lyra's opinion on her in that arc and I thought it was just too jarring so I changed it.

What I mean when I say this code is a monster. Note that I'm scrolled halfway down and the line number is 1132.

Changes made in Lyra's code so far:

Labeled all of the arc sections in the Adventure Logs tab with the events that happen in each arc. Debating whether to label them as arcs or seasons??? Probably keeping as arcs.

Drafted a playlist to put into Lyra's page because the template has 10 songs for the default and her actual playlist has uhhhh 40

Added the fun "Fall in love with who they won't become" caption in Arc 4 like I've been wanting to do for AGES and put in placeholders for Arc 2/3

Added the rest of the relationship tabs! This is huge :) Essentially had to add an entirely new tab for the PC section, and had to add 2 for the NPC section, which took some fuckery

Things planned for the rest of the day:

Figure out how I wanna label the relationship tabs cause it's the only info about the other characters that people are gonna get

Fix the bugs going on with the Personality tab, if I can

Put text at the beginning of the Adventure Log tab explaining what the purpose is and how to read it?? Or just. give further context.

General stuff to get to when I can:

Figure out a way to link to a video so that the voice headcanon doesn't just say Gordon Feetman without any fucking context (Might just change it to HLVRAI!Gordon idk)

Find other stuff to put in the sidebar

Silco, upon first meeting you, was a mix of things. A little shocked that someone like you could even exist [even though we've seen that nonhumans in Arcane, c'mon Silco get with the program my guy], a little afraid of you though he wouldn't ever show/admit it, and maybe even a little bit of envy, though he wasn't sure why maybe it was the power you commanded by just looking at you.

He wanted you to come work for him, and probably made you an offer that you couldn't resist.

When he did end up getting you on his side, everyone was a little bit shocked and confused. Why had he done this? No one was really sure themselves.

After some time Silco realized that the way he felt about you wasn't normal, and what did he do with those feelings? Shoved them away. Too much to deal with and he was not going to deal with that right now.

It was only after you two had more one-on-one time that he really connected with him when you told him about your past, and the horrors and shit you've seen and faced with being yourself. People often considered you a freak, and well, Silco understood that.

When you two eventually start dating, you two are truly a power couple. The King of Zaun and this supernatural being.

People would talk at The Last Drop, and joke that you were nothing more than his own pet but that would soon come to a stop. Sometimes people would forget that they were in the very building as Silco, and he didn't treat trash talk nicely.

If needed, he's going to have Sevika train you, but if you already know how to fight, that'll put him at ease. Seeing how you two together, just creates another weakness for him. He already has Jinx, but someone as rare as you created another one.

He'd have to admit, he does think you two are one damn good couple, though he wouldn't tell you straight to your face.

I love that you love encanto and it made you happy but please don't encourage people to go see it theatres in a pandemic, I get that it may be a good movie but people are literally dying and no movie (that'll become available at home eventually anyways) is worth putting lives at risk... maybe it's better where you live and I sure hope so for you and your loved ones! but most of the world still isn't unfortunately

Anyway, yeah. Kinda slipped my mind, I guess. Reina and I have stated this before, but we live in the Metro Detroit area (which I’m fine w saying, that’s six counties and like 4.3 million ppl). As a result, the Oxford shooting from last week hit really hard. That was close. That was RIGHT THERE. I’ve played against their sports teams for weird district crossover events before. It doesn’t just hit close to home, it WAS close to home.

Our schools have all been canceled for a few days bc of an intense influx of threats as a result, and so I went to see Encanto over and over again to take my mine off of it. And because it was a good movie.

The lack of school and the fact that we have high vaccine rates where we are so there was no mask mandates at the theaters sort of let EVERYTHING slip my mind rather than just the pressing issues. When I was writing those tags, it was about 11 pm and I was excited and wasn’t thinking about the broader picture.

I know people who have died from this virus. I suppose I had just been throwing myself into distractions so much to avoid thinking about Oxford and the overwhelming fear of going to school again that I distracted myself from things that should remain at the forefront. Sorry about that.

Wear your masks. Despite our high vaccine rates, I still do. My classmates still do. If we can wear them for upwards of seven straight hours a day, then you can deal with it walking into the grocery store. Don’t go see a movie if it’s not a viable option, your safety comes first and foremost at all times. If it’s possible for you, get vaccinated if you haven’t. The sooner we get through this, the sooner an ask like this (not that this ask is a bad thing) won’t be an issue anymore.

They sure got a chuckle out of me. Don't worry, you'll soon find out about the whole LttM vs Journey's End thing (...though I did vote for Neural Terminus on JE's last matchup, but heeeey, that doesn't count, aimirite?).

Now, as for the other stuff - I was definitely curious on why you acted this way about the pronoun thing, cus from what I've seen, most people don't tend to be so careful or apologetic about this stuff. Not because it was an issue, I was just slightly surprised.

And I absolutely get you, this sort of stuff usually comes from personal experiences. The only times I was feeling bad about being called a girl was when I was like, 10, and it was used by other kids as a way to mock me for not being "manly" enough (y'know, typical school bullying). But eventually I sort of learned that it's really not worth getting heartbroken about these things, especially when I heard one of my friends burst out with laughter that lasted for minutes after he was assumed to be a girl by a stranger on voice chat. I guess it's really about how important your gender identity is to you, but I just realized that mine is really not, especially to the extent that everybody else was expecting it to be. And I just always found this to be the more healthy approach, cus I wanna be ok with being a little "girly" sometimes, goddamn it.

You could probably guess this, but the language I was referring to was Hungarian, which I recommend you stay away from. Being a native speaker meant that I never had issues with this, but a lot of foreigners struggle with the language because we modify our words. A LOT.

Because you know, English has words like "with", "as", "to", "of", "by", "from", and such, right? Yeah, we removed those and turned them into little word extenders, essentially. So think of it like: instead of "From Lizard To Leviathan", you have "Lizardfrom Leviathanto". Which means that every word has a boatload of variations (because guess what, a word can easily have multiple of these at once), which is apparently confusing for foreigners.

I'm no stranger to the dumb gendered words either though, because I got to be one of those lucky Hungarians that were born into those north Serbian areas where a few of us are living, so I also had a ton of experiences with a Slavic language. My knowledge of Serbian is unfortunately atrocious (dw, I got a boatload of flak for that, and I'll try my best to get around to fixing that... eventually xd) , and one of the big contributors to that is how hard learning the genders of all the nouns can get. I think French and Spanish, and a boatload of other languages have them too. Yeah, I don't know why, either.

One thing I found surprising here was how you claimed that people often can't tell who is what gender, which I just can't wrap my head around. With voices? Sure, that can get tricky, and people will often fail there. With looks? Nah, that's below 1%, unless we're talking about specific edge cases, which should easily get cleared up by the sounds of their voices. Masculine looking women, feminine looking men, and non binary people are a thing, but idk, these three groups all seem rather small, so they never really gave me much issues. But who knows, maybe that'll change in the future, and maybe the whole thing with pronouns being everywhere is gonna feel way less jarring eventually (if that gets prevalent, but I'd honestly be perfectly fine with that just not being the case xd)

Oh, and just in case - with the last thing, I meant that you tell me about them, not the other way around. You know, so it can be sort of like a surprise to them. I just hope the joke didn't feel bad for you, and that I made it clear that it's specifically for the people that use the situation of others misgendering them as an excuse to do extreme bullying, ostricizing and harassment, because those folks exist, and for a while, have caused me to falsely believe that non-binary people are all aggressive and crazy, so yeah. (I'm truly sorry about that btw, I used to be quite the misinformed idiot xd. I'm just grateful to have learned that most of you folks are actually reasonable and nice).

Thanks for saying that my stuff is valid btw. It's important to remember that this is all about personal experiences and preferences, which is why nobody should be pressured to put their pronouns everywhere, or to stop caring about whether others misgender them or not. You can't change how a person feels about this stuff, after all.

Yes, he/him are absolutely my correct pronouns, I just don't really put that anywhere (unless I'm forced to), because I frankly don't care about which pronouns people use for me (which is why I've also picked any/all alongside the he/him in the SC, btw). I would probably correct others if they assumed I was a she/her, but I'd honestly find that more charming and funny, and not really insulting or offensive.

This is partially due to my native language not having any gendered pronouns whatsoever, but also, I feel like this recent obsession with putting pronouns everywhere is getting a tad weird (Especially when people walk up to a live stage and mention them while introducing themselves... like dude - we all know what men and women look and sound like, don't y'all think this is just a bit redundant? Feels like it'd be enough if just the they/them-s were the ones to mention it, once it would naturally come up)

Don't take this in a negative manner though, the post was real sweet, and I know this is coming from a place of kindness, which I wholeheartedly appreciate. And there's absolutely no need to edit anything - everything is perfect as it is, and seeing it all made me real happy.

Though if any of you end up accidentally misgendering someone, and that person starts a giant fuss over it - then please by all means send them to me. Or just tell them yourselves, that your pronouns are 'symbol of perfection'/'my lord and savior', and it's gonna be offensive to you if they don't use these. (Though I always wanted to pull that on a conflict seeking narcissistic jerk myself xd)
