Was the one bed situation maybe planned by someone?👀 – Not entirely, but I could think that if Joonas or Niko would have heard of one of their rooms only having one bed they would have done their best that Joel and Aleksi get it, just to see the chaos unfold.

Did Joel really not remember anything he told Niko in his drunken state? – Guess not, he’s really good in suppressing things, and he would have stopped after the first time when he remembered his words towards Niko in embarrassment.

What would have happened if Aleksi wouldn’t have been able to gather the courage to tell Joel his feelings? – They would have danced around each other for a while longer until either Aleksi couldn’t hold it in anymore, Joel would have exploded because he can’t keep his feelings in, or Joonas and Niko would have intervened eventually. They would have gotten together no matter what.

8. What song would make a great fic (to either write or read)?

Oh god, I can’t remember lyrics for the life of me and I’m not going through my 700 songs playlist now. I’m straight up going to Asking Alexandria because I’ve been searching their lyrics for titles recently and remember some good ones.

With Blind Channel I very much reread aaalll the fics😅 In other fandoms I don’t usually reread. Mostly because I’m lazy and don’t bookmark and don’t find them again. There’s maybe 3 or so fics I’ve revisited, but I’ve wanted to start saving more fics I really liked so I can reread them again.

42. Have you ever received a comment that particularly stood out to you for whatever reason?

There were some because they were really funny to me. There was one were the commenter didn’t believe me that the next chapter would be nice to Aleksi because they knew what I like to do to my characters😂 And I felt a little bit called out but it was also really funny to me how I’m perceived by my readers.

And also one reader always comments with lengthy comments that stand out to me because they mention little details in my fics and always get me to think further about my characters and the story which I really appreciate because comments can inspire me a lot.

48. What’s the last fic you read? Do you recommend it?

It was better off by @poodlejoonas which I read this morning when I was still lying in bed. And yes, if you love Aleksi whump and general angst then this is for you. I certainly loved it.

5. Which WIP is first on your list to complete this year? Will you post a snippet?

Of course the current soulmate AU multichapter. And after that I finally want to finish my virgin Joel fic which I had started and then chickened out right when the emotional/awkward sex was coming up😂

I haven’t written anything for it after the last time I posted a snippet for it, but have one anyways:

Joonas' question if they could finally do it wouldn't be as bad if Joel hadn't been such a weird kid and an even weirder teenager that no one wanted to hang out with. So maybe he should cut himself some slack since there never was any opportunity for him, but things could have been different, and he could have lost his virginity and now wouldn't be so nervous about it like some… some… 

Joel sighed out loud. God, he was such a loser. 

On his way he had worried so much that he almost forgot to say anything substantial when Joonas opened the door for him. But he managed a smile at least that he hoped didn't show how much he was fighting against himself inside. 

Joonas kissed him softly after shutting the door behind him, hanging up his leather jacket for him. 

Joel just stood there in the hallway. He hadn't been this unsure in a long time and he wrung his hands, waiting for Joonas to suggest something. 

“We can go up to my room. I've ordered pizza for us, let's just watch something while we wait?” 

Joel nodded mechanically while breathing out deeply. So they wouldn't jump straight into it.

11. Would you like to try any new fanfic genres or tropes this year?

I feel like I’ve already tried a lot of new stuff this year, I don’t even know what else I could do? Oh wait I have this Exes back to Lovers wip on my list, that would be new for me. Maybe something more fantasy and supernatural but I already know that that’s not my biggest talent.

17. Do you typically answer all comments/reviews individually? Do you plan to change the way you interact with your readers this year?

I answer them all individually. Of course if the one commenting doesn’t give me more than “I like this” then I can’t do much, but otherwise I always try to answer in a way that fits what they have written.

I don’t want to change anything no, and I don’t think there’s anything more I could do either, the readers have to come for me for that^^

18. Do you typically post multi-chapters as you write, or finish it all and then start posting? Would you like to change your posting method? 

I have only posted my coffeeshop AU once I finished it completely, and I had found that it makes me rather anxious. So I shifted back to posting while I write. I feel a bit guilty because I can’t promise when the next chapter comes out but people wait till it’s complete to read it, and the usuals comment either way so apparently it’s not a big of a problem and I won’t change that for me again.

Bryan Rust: I feel like Harkins probably could. He seems like a guy who would be climbing trees and cutting them down with his bare hands, maybe even chewing them down. I think he would do well.

Reilly Smith: I wouldn't say any of us! No, you know what? Harks. Harks could survive. He can probably find weird things to eat. He'd be sufficient at just getting by.

Jansen Harkins: Ned. He just seems resourceful, and I feel like he could just chill. I don't think he needs too much.

Alex Nedeljkovic: Jars. He seems like an outdoorsy guy. Survivalist? I don't know if that's a real word.

P.O Joseph. Not Ned! I'm going to say Gravy. He's from the Maritimes, I feel like they know a little about the outdoors is my guess. On a serious note, I think Ned would definitely be someone that would be good at it, just his capacity of adjusting in places. He would be good at it.

Lars Eller: Sid. He seems to be going different ways about things, about a lot of things. He doesn't rely too much on new technology, let's just say that.

Jake Guentzel: Sid. He's just an outdoorsman, that's kind of his vibe. I'm sure he could find something to live off of.

Chad Ruhwedel: Sid or Carts, or myself. They seem like they could handle themselves in a tough situation. I think I would do OK.

Erik Karlsson: Sid. I just feel like he would be very creative and would probably figure out a way to sustain himself for as long as he needed.

Colin White: John Ludvig. I feel like he's pretty handy, he'd like the outdoors like that.

Drew O'Connor: Luds, probably. He seems like he would. Look at him! He seems like an animal, don't you think?

John Ludvig: I'm going to say Cookie (Noel Acciari). Cookie's a burly man, he can handle himself. I'm pretty sure he'd find a way to survive wherever he was. I'll go with him.

Noel Acciari: Rudy (Chad Ruhwedel). He has a military background with his dad, he just seems handy.

Marcus Pettersson: Rudy. I think he's pretty handy, he could make something out of nothing, make himself a good shelter. That's big, I think he could build a shelter. Raks is a good fisherman, but the problem is he's alone on that island. He doesn't touch the fish, he hates touching the fish. He doesn't do it. So it'd be a problem, he'd need somebody with him.

Jonathan Gruden: I feel like Petey (Marcus Pettersson) would be good, just being around him for a little bit. He's pretty good, he could work his way around it and survive. Not OC. But P.O could maybe survive too. (Me: Half the team picked P.O for who couldn't survive.) I've got P.O's back! Maybe he's fooling me.

Magnus Hellberg: Can I pick myself? I'm really big into the outdoors and hiking, hunting, fishing. I think I've watched every season of Alone and all those survival shows. I like to be out in nature. When I think about all the guys, I feel like I'm the most nerdy with that stuff, spend a lot of time on the water. I would say myself, but in a humble way.

Rickard Rakell: I think Sid would do pretty well. I feel like he lives out in nowhere over the summer.

Sidney Crosby: I think I'd say Ricky (Rakell). He's pretty chill, I think he's got some survival instincts. He's got the tools.

Ryan Graves: Maybe Jars, I feel like he's outdoorsy.

I wish we had a date of when they're coming back, but I really can't see them being gone for too long. I think Joel and Joonas especially will get bored being away from BC for too long.

But I'm so glad they're taking a break now, rather than burning out and rushing through music they're not happy with and shows they can't perform well at. Also the fact they're comfortable taking a break shows that they're confident in the fact that what they've got is pretty solid, and they won't be forgotten about or their passion for BC won't fade away while they're on the break.

I know Olli and Tommi will probably disappear for a while (💔) and maybe Niko will go quiet too, but I'm so confident we'll still be seeing a lot of Joel, Joonas, and Aleksi.

Ok, so the summary of today's day (it's fun, you know I'm a writer, so I can make it fun):

Before the concert+the concert

I went out. It didn't rain. I got to the city centre and it was raining like hell, but of course I didn't have an umbrella... I had my leather jacket though. Leather jackets are useful, because you can take them off and cover your hair and they don't get wet. But when I got there, it stopped raining, yay! Lucky me 😆

I got there maybe an hour before the doors? I would get an usual spot at the barrier on the side, but a girl was keeping it for her friend, so I let them have it and went to the middle. It was scary at first, because I never know what my happen and it's hard for me to stand for too long (which everyone knows, because I talk about it here a lot), but as usual the BC fandom here is very chill and most people were super nice and friendly and polite to each other, it's one of the main reasons why I love their concerts so much 💖

Most of the time I didn't see much, but Joel and Joonas got many interactions, if I find videos of those, I'll let you know! I had Joel right in front of me almost all the time, I could see his red snoot and wet upper lip, and he hit his face with the chain all the damn time... this guy 😆. Honestly, I had more fun there, in the 3rd row, than at the barrier on the side. Maybe it's because I was close to Joel, dunno 🤣. But it was probably my best BC concert so far, because I finally managed to relax and my anxiety was on a very low level. It really makes a huge difference!

Oh, and of course I lost my hairband with a big red bow. All because of Ghostkid's vocalist! I was filming Dark Side and he got near the crowd, I had no idea he was going to jump into it, because I'm small, I barely can see what's going on with everyone around being so tall. So he knocked off my hairband and I managed to catch my classes on time 😭. But I did catch him somehow, I made sure he didn't fall. Also damn, this guy is so light! Even with my health issues I feel like I could carry him myself easily. Also I'm not super sad about the hairband, if someone found it they can keep it, it's just a funny story 😂. If I lost my glasses, THEN I'd be upset. Because glasses are expensive. Btw I literally have it on video, I have proof! It's the funniest part of it 🤣

We also got another "kurwa bob" moment and Niko got a flower crown in the colors of the Polish flag! I even managed to take a quick photo (as I said, my camera is shite):

Meeting the band after the concert

I wasn't sure if it was worth to wait for them. It was still a bit rainy and the last day bus was leaving in 30min (night buses arrive only every 30min, so it's a pain in the ass). Most people have left, there weren't many of us left, maybe ~20 people waited? But I thought I don't get to see them live that often, so what the hell, I'll wait.

There were staff members and guys from the supporting bands walking around freely (everyone is always polite and we let them work in peace, it's why I love the fans here, they don't chase anyone away 💖), even Olli just walked around unbothered (I think only I noticed him at that time tbh, but I ain't a snitch hehe).

Tommi and Aleksi just went to the bus and it's understandable. Tommi is just Tommi and Aleksi was sick. All of the other guys actually stayed with us to talk and I've never had such a long interaction with them before! I feel even luckier and I'm so happy that I stayed 😍

I think everyone knows Joel is sick, so we didn't want to bug him too much. He was nice enough to let us take some photos and let us give him hugs, and he was pretty much braindead 😂. But it's understandable, he's usually braindead and he's also sick, so it's worse. I'm happy I could give him a proper hug this time, because the first time I met him I was too scared for one. The 2nd time I asked for one and patted his shoulder nervously. But this time? I just hugged him with no fear! I'm making progress here 💖

Niko is always the most friendly one, so we had a chat with him and he asked what does kurwa mean (really dude? you have no google in your phone?) and I told him it's like vittu, other people added more information, and I said he should google it, he'll find funny things. Niko, please. Just google it, dude 😂.

I also hugged him and he has a really soft coat, which other girls pointed out and he joked he's wearing nothing underneath, because he's Finnish and isn't cold (a deja vu moment, because there was exactly the same situation in Poznań before: "Niko, aren't you cold?" "No, I'm Finnish"), so I also told him it used to be much colder here in general, because we did have very cold winters before. It's always fun talking to Niko 💖

The next one was Olli, but I'm leaving Olli for the last part of the story, because it's the best. Now, I did hug Joonas and got a photo with him, but my brain is totally blank if we actually did talk to him. I think not really? Uh, dunno 😂. But it was a positive interaction as well 💖

Now, Olli. Everyone knows I just couldn't like the guy because of his crazy stans, so I was "meh" about him, but actually meeting him properly just changed my mind. He's really easy to talk to! But I really didn't think I'd manage to come up with an interesting topic, I usually have nothing to say and I'm horrible at asking questions.

My brain decided to ask him about Silent Library. It basically went like:

Me: "So I watched this show, Silent Library Suomi, and you were getting all these red cards. Was it done like that on purpose, or was it just a coincidence?

Olli (grinning): "it's called back luck"

Now, if you watched their vlogs and he had those funny moments with puns everyone loved, IT WAS LIKE ONE OF THOSE MOMENTS. But I don't have it on the camera (which is ok, I did that just for myself).

He explained it really was accidental and no one was plotting against him (I did joke that Joel maybe did 😂). I think he enjoyed talking about it, because I doubt anyone would get an idea to ask him about this show (though I might be wrong).

So here you go, it's called bad luck. That's it. I got the info from the man himself 😂

But, there's more. The girl who was taking photos of us had a malfunctioning phone and accidentally took a photo of his feet and he was wearing flip flops (she did show it to him too lmao). I'll share it as soon as I get it. Also she came up with a joke that I already told her I'm going to steal:

You were traveling with the boys while they were touring Europe and everything had seemed to go alright so far. You were in Bulgaria and they guys couldn’t be happier with the alcohol prices and they had made sure you all had gone out over and over again, not letting it go to waste. 

You and Niko had been dating for quite some time now, and he wanted you there when he was touring. You got a job that allowed you to work from anywhere, so you were eager to come with. Niko loved having you so close, even though the guys made fun of him for it. 

So here you were, sitting outside a cafe, enjoying the beautiful weather and the cheap drinks. The guys had all ordered beers, while you had opted for a cocktail. “Oh here we go again, Y/N has to be expensive.” Joel said. You knew he was only joking but it made you regret your decision. So as soon as you could sneak away for a second you went over to the bar. “Could you change that cocktail to tap water, please?” “Of course, no problem.” The bartender said. You thanked them and made your way back to the band. 

You knew Niko would never let you pay for your drinks, so making them as cheap as possible was a good alternative. As the drinks were brought to your table, Niko noticed what you had done. “No cocktail?” He asked. “I wasn’t feeling it after all.” You said, smiling at him, trying to disguise the true reason. 

About a week ago you started to feel like you were interrupting and annoying the guys. Niko still made you feel as loved as ever, but you felt like the others didn’t want you around. And with every ‘funny’ comment they made, that feeling only got worse. 

“You guys wanna go on a tour on an ATV?” Joel asked as he put his phone down on the table. “I just checked, there’s a tour not far from here.” “Sounds good. Do we get to go through mud and stuff?” Joonas wondered. “Yeah, there’s a whole trail to follow.” “Cool. Count me in.” Tommi said. “But Y/N probably doesn’t wanna come.” olli more said than asked. You got frustrated. “Maybe ask me instead of making an assumption.” You murmured. “You can come if you want.” Aleksi said. 

You stood up from your seat. “No, you guys go ahead. I’ll do something by myself.” You said rather annoyed. You kissed Niko, then grabbed your bag and started walking away. To where? You didn’t know. You were in unfamiliar territory. But you needed to get away from the guys. 

After about twenty minutes you had made your way back to your hotel. As you entered yours and Niko’s room, you sat down on the bed looking around the room. Maybe you should just go home. Leave the boys to enjoy their tour by themselves. You didn’t feel particularly wanted. 

Maybe you made a rash decision, but you started packing up your suitcase. Once everything was packed, you wrote a short note to Niko, telling him you would see him when the tour was over. You laid the piece of paper on the bed and looked around the room once more, making sure you didn’t forget anything. 

You made your way over to the front desk. “How may I help you?” The hotel receptionist asked kindly. “I’m going home, but my boyfriend is staying. I just want to return my card.” You handed her the keycard. She looked at you sadly, like she knew what was going on. “I hope you enjoyed your stay.” “Sure. It was fine. Thank you.” “You have a lovely day now.” She said as you turned away from her. 

You made your way to the train station, where you bought a ticket to go home. You had always preferred trains over planes. Even though it would take you longer to get home, you decided the trip would do you good. You would have time to think things through. 

You walked to the platform and sat down. It would be at least two hours before the train would arrive, so you sat down patiently, spending your time reading from your kindle. 

It took half an hour before Niko called you. You wanted to ignore it, but you knew that wasn’t fair to him. “Hey.” You breathed. “Where are you?” “I’m going home. You guys should spend some time together without me being there.” “Are you kidding me? We’re all worried sick about you.” “Don’t worry. We’ll see each other when your tour is over.” 

“No. No way.” You could almost see him racking his fingers through his hair. “Why are you doing this?” “I’ll only be disturbing you guys. You want to do this together, not with me there.” “Babe, they want you here. I want you here.” You closed your eyes for a second as you felt tears pricking in the corners of your eyes. “Niko, this is for the best. I love you.” And then you hung up. 

Your phone kept ringing after that, not only from Niko but also from the others. You ignored them all. 

It wasn’t until fifteen minutes before your train would show up, that you heard your name being called. “Y/N?” It came from behind you. You recognized that voice anywhere. You put your ereader down and stood up. “Niko.” You murmured. “Why would you just leave like that?” You took a shaky breath. “Because I’m only interrupting you guys' fun. You don’t want me here. None of you do.” 

“What makes you say that?” He walked closer to you, grabbing your hands in his own. “I just feel like I don’t belong here.” “Baby, you’re the only thing that makes sense to me. The only one I always want around.” You looked in his eyes to see if there was any sign of deception. “The guys may make fun sometimes, but they want you here as well. They say you keep them sane. You’re always there for them when they need someone to talk to. You make us all laugh with your humor and smile at your kindness. Please don’t ever feel like you’re too much.” 

You didn’t realize you were this important to them. A single tear fell from the corner of your eye and Niko wiped it away. “Please come back with me?” You couldn’t speak, your throat closed up by your emotions, but you nodded at him. He immediately grabbed you into his arms, kissing the top of your head.

while we wait for / manifest more Olli/Allu content, can we spare a thought or two on how cute (and maybe just a little shy?) Joonas was on Aleksi's mini vlog? 🥺 I loved his "something to the vlog" joke (classic <3) and the cute little hi when Aleksi asked him to say hi to the vlog, and the way he asks "is this a video or a picture" in the end always cracks me up for some reason 😂

Because I walked past a huge sex store yesterday on my way to the vet with my mum (no special ladies deal day for me then) I had to think about how well or giggly or ashamed the guys would behave in a sex store.
