haven’t even gone to work yet and im already feeling the depression seeping into my veins
#I just feel like no matter what today and tonight are gonna be pathetic#I have one friend willing to go out with me after work (the other two haven’t responded) but it’s not one of them who can drive and#it’s hard to feel like spending money on lyft(s) on top of drinks is a waste and won’t be worth it#but just going home after work to my dark empty house sounds miserable too#that’s how I spent the night of Christmas Eve luckily I was so fucking exhausted I didn’t feel like I could do much more anyway#it’s just. very blaringly obvious in times like this that I have only three friends (that I’ve had since high school) and really only one of#them feels genuinely close and wants to hang out with me. inconveniently he’s also the one of the three who can’t drive#it feels very unlikely that tonight will be satisfying much less memorable. i’ll probably just regret spending money and feel restless#yayy merry christmas#kibumblabs

𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 ?
Imagine: He asks you what you'd like for Christmas and you take it up a notch since he asked.
Pairings: Human!Elijah x Human!Reader
Warnings: Smut and a sweet family moment.
A/N: Hey guys! I just wanted to apologise in advance because this ended up being a lot longer than anticipated because I got a bit carried away and added the sweetest little family moment at the end anyway no more spoilers but enjoy!!
I had just unlocked the door to Mine and Elijah's apartment, where I had just got some a sexy Christmas outfit for Elijah's Christmas present, since he said I was enough and that he didn't want anything. I thought I'd give him me.
I was just finishing my hair, when I heard the front door open and close, that meant Elijah was home and just in time. He decided to be nice this Christmas and give Klaus and lift home since he got hammered at Rousseau's for Christmas and why not.
“Beautiful ? I'm back.”
“Okay baby, just wait in the living room. I'll be out in a second.”
“Okay sweetheart.”
I smiled at the terms of endearment, it's a usual thing but I love it so very much. I get Goosebumps and start to blush whenever he says things like 'beautiful' or 'sweetheart'. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled, I know he's going to love it. He always likes it when I dress up just for him.
I opened the bedroom door and stepped out, before walking towards Elijah and standing in front of his chair that he was sat in.
“Happy Christmas, Handsome.”
He gaped for a second and then closed his mouth regained his usual posture and smirked. His hands reached out to grab the diaphanous fabric of the lingerie I was wearing and muttered under his breath.
“Happy Christmas indeed. Wow....I feel terrible I didn't at least get dressed up for you.”
“No, it's okay. Don't worry about it.”
“No it's not. Tell me what you for christmas.”
“Santa ? Is that you ?”
He chuckled and I kept my act up and sat on his knee whilst his arm wrapped around my waist and his other hand rested on my knee.
“It is indeed. What would you like for Christmas this year ?”
“I've been thinking very hard about this Santa because I really don't want anything except one thing. So I would really appreciate it if you have it too me....”
“It better be a good thing to ask for because that was a hell of a build up...”
“I promise it is....”
“Well then, what would you like ?”
“I would like you to fuck me hard. Please.”
I looked at him lustfully and he returned the gesture. Before pulling both my legs and wrapping them around him, making my heels rest on his back. We were inches apart and very desperate to make good on my wish.
“As you wish, my beautiful.”
We grinned at eachother and kissed eachother roughly, passionately....lustfully. I'd never been so turned on as I was then in my life. He was about the rip the lingerie off of me but luckily I stopped him before he could.
“Wait, I spent too much on this for you to rip it straight away. At least let it get 2 wears in.”
“Fine.”
He left it on instead, luckily for us both, there was no bottom half to it. The lingerie was a just a transculent dress really. He pulled the cups of the dress under my breasts so they could breathe however they were immediately suffocated once again, only this time on the sweet mouth of Elijah Mikaelson. His tounge encircled each nipple, one by one and discharged a quiet moan from me.
I clutched at the nape of his neck and began to rub myself against his hard on immediately. He let out a small groan and tightened the grip he had on my nipple with his mouth, which inspired a slight screech from myself. I ripped the belt off of him and I threw it behind him to an empty space by the tree. I continued to rip his clothes off and one of the articles of clothing hit the tree and disturbed us because a bauble had smashed on the floor. We pulled away and started giggling at eachother and we're also incredibly out of breathe. He slipped his boxers off and I immediately blushed.
Everytime I saw how much I affected him, I blushed and I thought it was such an awkward thing to do. I had expressed how I felt about it before to Elijah but he reassured me that he very much adored it but I still feel that tiniest bit awkward.
I still continued to rest my body on my knees and wrap my lips around his cock, he threw is head back and groaned before he forced himself to pull me off of him and stood up and made me sit down in the chair before kneeling down and lining himself up with my entrance. The action made me bite my lip in anticipation and my lip almost flew out of my mouth as soon as he thrust into me.
My hands gripped the arms of the chair and he consistenly thrusted into me at a slow pace. I stretched around him and his hips slapped against the back of my thighs and he deepened himself further inside of me. It was a tantinisingly slow pace but I knew he was making it last though.
It's not often that we get to just have sex without arranging it. The kids were staying with Rebekah and Marcel for the night and we were going to have a quiet night alone. We often have to plan we have sex though, which makes it less special and it's not even the kids we have to arrange it around...it’s also Klaus. He's incompetent without Elijah with him, I swear he has separation anxiety. I do feel bad for him though since Hayley doesn't like him seeing Hope alone because she's worried he's constantly drunk. He just missed Camille and has just attended the wedding of the love of his life and someone he saw as a brother to him.
Elijah gripped my legs, leaving handprints embroidered in my skins. He pulled out suddenly and flipped me around on the chair. I gripped the back of the chair and my knees sunk into the fabric of the bottom cushion. His large hands stroked my hips tightly before getting down on his own knees and licking and kissing my entrance, earning a few sweet moans to erupt from my throat. Not long after, he sprung back up and stroked my clit with the tip of his cock before suddenly thrusting straight into my entrance which caused a loud moan to echo around us. One of my hands gripped the arm and one gripped the back of the chair, as his pace quickened and he created slapping sounds between our bodies. He kept rocking his hips back and force at a never ending pace. Groans emitting from his body aswell and his hands founding the best grip on my hips. I started to tighten around him and not longer, I came all around him.
He pulled me to stand up after I came and sat down himself before gently pulling my hand and prompting me to sit on his lap. He positioned himself at my entrance as I was still a bit shaky from my release. I sat down on him slowly whilst letting out a long breathy moan. His hands found my hips again and mine gripped his shoulders. I was too overstimulated to keep moving, so he moved my hips up and down on his lap so he could reach his orgasm. He started throbbing, stimulating me more and more until we both released all over eachother, making a mess. His juices were running down my thighs and dripping down his cock, falling onto his stomach. Mine, combining with his...again running down my thighs and drenching his now flaccid cock.
I carefully removed myself off of him, to grab a warm towel to clean us up with. The sheer material of my dress, tickling my legs as I walked. I walked into the bathroom and looked at myself. I knew I wasn't ugly but damn do I look good after sex. Although it never feels like just sex when it's with Elijah, it feels like pure, physical luck. I always feel like the luckiest women in the world...not forgetting the best looked after cause wow is he godly in physical act of love, for lack of more appropriate words. I walked back in after finishing cleaning myself up and handed him a cloth too, before giving him a kiss and going to run a bath.
“Hey Lijah handsome, I'm gonna run a bath do you wanna get in with me in a sec ?”
“I would love too, beautiful.”
He just finished and stopped in the doorway to our bedroom and turned to him.
“Can you b-"
He cut me off.
“Yes, I will get the wine. Give me a second sweetheart.”
I giggled and walked off. He walked into the bathroom, seeing me already in the bath. Surrounded by candles and and the sweet aroma of the Christmas candle burning, that smelt like cinnamon, hot wine, vanilla, ginger, orange, honey and chocolate. Just a warm, inviting smell to relax too on Christmas day. He got in and poured some white wine he had delivered, along with himself.
“Here we go beautiful.”
I grabbed the glass he handed me and we spent the whole bath talking about nice thing like: the kids, new years eve and complimenting eachother. After about 45 minutes, the water started to go cold so we decided to get out and get into some more comfortable clothes and tidy up a bit. We started to relax by sitting on the sofa and throwing a blanket on top of us whilst watching ‘It’s a wonderful life'...and let me tell you it most certainly is. We were just about to go make some hot cocoa when there was a knock on the door, confusing us both. We glanced at eachother in wonder and when I opened the door, Rebekah and the kids were standing there. I smiled at them as they ran in to say hi to their dad. I turned to Rebekah.
“I’m sorry, I know I promised I'd have them for the night but they wouldn't go to sleep unless Marcel read them a book or your and Elijah were there, but Marcel passed out whilst we were watching a film. I really wanted you and Elijah to have a night to yourselves and I really tried bu-”
I chuckled at her and held my hand up.
“Rebekah, it's fine we don't mind. Honestly, I was missing having the kids here anyway and we were just about to make hot cocoa anyway. Calm yourself down and go to sleep, you look exhausted.”
“Thankyou Y/N, I owe you one !”
“No you don't!”
I closed the door, to see the kids sat with their dad watching home alone. I smiled at the view, this is why I'm lucky to have Elijah.

You missed him so much. It had been so long since you last have seen him. But he couldn’t do anything because of his schedule. Chan’s group just had a comeback and they were busy travelling around. Even if you knew about this you still got him a Christmas present. You also got presents for his members. Your boyfriend’s present was something really special. You hadn’t got him something, that would cost money or something.
The few weeks all boys were in Seoul at the company you spent a lot of time with Changbin and Jisung. However, it was worth it. Both boys were impressed by you singing so smoothly and calm, they never thought you could sing like that.
So, that was your present for Bang Chan. It was a song you really liked and it fit with the Christmas time.
Sadly, you just had found out that your boyfriend won’t make it to Christmas Eve.
“I’m sorry, baby, I really wanted to be with you this year…” – “It’s fine, Chan. Just make sure you’re okay, yeah? Take care of yourself and don’t overwork yourself. That’d be the best Christmas present for me. All right?”, you fake yawned and smiled. You two were face timing and he smiled.
“It’s probably really late there, huh? Go to sleep, baby. We’ll talk tomorrow”, Chan said. After you both said your goodbyes and hung up you were just laying on your bed, thinking about how he could get your present.
Then you got an idea and smiled. You called Jisung via FaceTime.
“What’s up, angel?”, he said. That was a thing between you two. He could call you pet names but you just found it lovely. At the beginning of your relationship with Chan he didn’t really like the fact that you were so close to one of his group members. However, this jealousy faded away after a while and Chan started being more accepting. He wasn’t as jealous as he was in the beginning of your relationship and that was something you were so grateful for.
“I need your help, Jisungie”, you said. “But I need you to be a bit more silent since Channie thinks I’m sleeping.”
“Alright, we’ll start again in 3, 2, 1…”, Jisung ordered, earning a smack on his head from Changbin.
“Don’t order her around. She knows how to do it now”, the eldest of you three said. You all laughed and you cleared your throat before you started singing your verses. You had taken extra English classes to perfect your pronunciation. You have done anything to be able to do all of this.
“I’m still so impressed how beautiful she sings”, Changbin whispered and Jisung grinned a bit. After you had finished recording the song, you sat with the boys in the studio since they wanted you to decide how the song’s going to be. However, since you knew how talented the two boys were with producing a song, you trusted them to do the best thing out of all the recordings.
“I’m tired. I think I’ll go home and sleep a bit”, you excused yourself and smiled. “Thanks for everything you did for me.”
You hugged both. “No need to thank us. We’re happy that we could help you with this. And I’m pretty sure he will love the song!”, Jisung said, smiling brightly.
“You want me to give him the song? Why? Even if it’s after Christmas, you should be the one who shows him the song”, Jisung said.
“I want him to listen to it on Christmas. It’s a present. He should get it on time.” It was kind of sad that you won’t be able to see his reaction the moment he listens to it. Jisung sighed.
“Okay… I’ll show it to him then”, he said, not wanting to discuss it any longer since he was really tired, too, because of all the touring.
“Or…? You can just come to Australia? What about that? We have our last concert in Australia right on Christmas Eve. Then we can spend like two days in Sydney before we head back to Seoul. And he’d love to see you again”, Jisung suggested. It wasn’t a bad idea at all, actually, but you had no idea if your boss would give you free days.
“I can ask my boss. But I don’t think he’d allow me to”, you said.
“Just try. And it’s really important, because I think Chan is close to have his down-phase again. He really misses you and I feel like he needs you to be himself again”, Jisung explained. You widened your eyes and looked at him.
“What do you mean?”
“He messes up during rehearsals. He’s pissed without any special reason. Sometimes I feel like Chan hyung is going to cry. It’s really worse than it was at any other tour. Just… try coming here, yeah? You’re the only person who can fix him.”
You knew Chan got demotivated when it came to leaving you. But you didn’t know it had gotten even worse since the last time you two separated. And again, you wonder how you couldn’t realize how bad he was actually feeling but still smiling his sweet, bright smile to his phone camera. He was doing all that just to let you think he’s happy, when he’s not even close to be as cheerful as he actually was.
You were so close to cry, but held back; did not want to cry in front of the younger boy, “I’ll get my tickets now. Thanks for telling me, Jisungie. Sleep well, and look after him. Take care of him when he doesn’t take care of himself, yeah?”, you said and smiled softly. After you hung up, you got up and searched through your wardrobe for his hoodie. You had kept it when he last visited you before going to the airport.
That was almost three months ago.
At that specific night he had shown you his love to you. No one knew about it, only you two. Even JYP or his members didn’t know about it. But Bang Chan wasn’t just your boyfriend anymore. On his birthday, October 3rd he had proposed to you. He had asked you if you would spend your life with him. If you’ll be by his side until the two of you passes away.
You smiled brightly, taking out the ring, which you kept in your wardrobe since you couldn’t wear it outside. Everyone knew you by now; Chan had told everyone about your relationship a few months after you two got together. The group had received a lot of hate because of it, but the shit-storm ended. And a ring on your finger wouldn’t make it any better.
“Daesung-ssi, I really need to visit my family on Christmas. Something important happened and my parents said, I need to be there”, you had to lie to your boss. He sighed, then nodded.
“Alright… family is something I can’t say no to. One week. That’s all”, he said. You were so happy and just hugged him. You have been working in this company for a few years and your boss liked to be close to his co-workers. He wanted them to feel relaxed around him and you really loved the atmosphere there.
“Thank you so much, Daesung-ssi!”
“It’s alright. Have a nice time with your family." He said and smiled, before you left his office.
Finally, you could book your flight tickets and see your fiancé.
Your fiancé, who didn’t dare to tell you how much he actually suffered. That was something you two had to talk about. He couldn’t keep on hiding this kind of things from you, if you would get married one day. If… you didn’t know if it would happen and when it would happen. You never had any idea of how he really felt. He never told you. Chan just smiled and said he’s okay. He’s fine.
But inside, he needs someone to take care of him, make sure he’s really okay, though no one besides his group mates sees it. Because they’re the only ones who are spending enough time with him. You don’t even get to see him that much like the other boys do. You don’t even get to hug him or kiss him just to tell him without even using any words that you’re always there for him. That you’re going to stay with him as long as you both live.
“Did you get your flight tickets?”, Jisung asked excitedly. You nodded and smiled brightly. “I’ll be there on the 26th. A bit late but at least I’m going to be there. I hope you can handle him these last four days”, you answered, you were a bit concerned.
“We got this.. It’s all okay at the moment. Do you still want me to show him the song on Christmas day or do you want to show it yourself?”
“No, it’s okay. You show it to him. Just film it, all right? I want to see how he reacted to it”, you smiled.
“All right”, Jisung sighed, not happy with your answer.
“See you in four days!”, he then said with a bright smile and hung up.
Well… it took you more than four days to arrive in Australia. Your flight got cancelled and you were stuck at the airport. Because of the cancelled flight you couldn’t catch your connecting flights. So, you arrived two days later than expected. On the 28th.
You were exhausted and Jisung tried to convince his manager and Chan to stay until New Year. Luckily, he succeeded. You arrived at your hotel room and lay down to relax. Since you had texted Jisung and Changbin that you had arrived, you thought it was them who were basically hammering against your door.
“What?!”, you yelled, pissed because you didn’t want anything but sleep. You widened your eyes as you saw your fiancé standing in front of you.
“Care to tell me, when you arrived?”, he said, voice cold and he sounded like he was mad as fuck.
“J-just now”, you stammered, walked a bit back before you felt the wall against your back. He closed the door, saying nothing.
You thought he was going to yell at you, telling you how mad he was for not telling him. However, he started sobbing and hugged you tightly. “Why didn’t you tell me that you were going to come here? Why didn’t you call me the last few days? Do you know how much I needed you?!”, he sobbed.
You were so close to cry, too, but held back. “Channie… please don’t cry. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you but I wanted to surprise you. I actually planned on being here two days ago but my flight got cancelled and – “, you couldn’t continue talking because he pressed his lips on yours and kissed you. Passionately. You put your arms around his neck and pulled him closer. You just needed this right now.
“I… I’m sorry for ignoring you all this time”, you whispered. “I missed you so much, Channie.”
“I missed you, too. Now shut up and kiss me”, he giggled and kissed you once again.
“Y/N?”, he kissed you softly on your cheek as you woke up. “You awake, baby?”, he asked and you nodded as you turned around to him.
“Good morning”, you said smiling.
“God, I really missed you." He breathed out and pressed his face against your neck.
“We still need to talk, Channie”, you said. “Why didn’t you say how much you weren’t okay? Why did you smile when you were in pain? When you said you’re okay… were you really okay?”, you asked.
He sighed and shook his head. “It’s always like this. I’m depending on you too much. You play an even bigger role in my life than you ever would’ve thought. I realize that each time I’m on tour. Each tour breaks me even more.”
Chan was feeling a bit better after telling you all this. “It’s okay, Channie… let it out. You’ll feel better after all this. And after we return home I’ll take care of you. I won’t be leaving your side, yeah? I promise you”, you said.
“I love you, Y/N”, he said. “I don’t know what I would do, if I’d ever lose you.”
“I love you, too. And don’t you ever think that you’ll lose me. You’re stuck with me forever”, you giggled as he started tickling you. So, finally, the sparkles in his eyes were back.
You went on dates, were recognized by a lot of people since Stray Kids had gotten even more popular during the last few months. It was cute to see his fans recognize you when you were waiting for Chan to return from the bathroom or somewhere else on the middle of the street.
During New Year’s Eve you two sat on a bench close to the Harbour Bridge. You had a blanket over your shoulders and smiled the whole time. This short time you had spent together helped him a lot to feel better and a lot calmer.
“Why didn’t you ever tell me you could sing so well?”, he suddenly asked you, breaking the peaceful silence between you two. You giggled a bit and looked up at him.
“I wanted to surprise you with my voice. Also, I always felt insecure about my voice, so I never told you”, you answered.
“Well, but I can promise you, that your voice is wonderful”, Chan added and kissed you softly on your cheek. Right in that one second there was a flash and you looked up, being startled.
“Alright, let’s post it!”, Jeongin yelled.
“Don’t you dare…!”, Chan threatened but didn’t move a muscle. He just smiled as the fireworks exploded in the air and watched the beautiful colours disappear and get replaced by other beautiful fireworks.
That was the most important part.
Bang Chan finally smiled, because he was truly happy.
You totally loved it.

uraraka-centric fic recs
it’s time for my best girl! here’s a collection of 27 gen, uraraka-centric fic recs. a mix of mostly canon compliant fics and some aus; hurt/comfort, fluff, angst, and everything in between.
for more fic recs, please check out my: ‘fic rec’ tag | ‘bnha fic rec’ tag | ‘weekly fic roundup’ tag (bnha)
Starfire by Anonymous
gen; 2.6k; chapters 1/1 complete
Stars create gravity, and Uraraka wishes on herself.
It was impossible to make her own shooting stars, but that inspiration sounded like a touch of divinity. Only the imaginings of a god with their versatility of powers could be capable of involving outer space. Uraraka...dreamed of that.
Home for Christmas by sobakasuai
gen; 1.2k; chapters 1/1 complete
Ochako feels slightly pitiful about herself as she loads a few more cups of noodles into her shopping basket. Christmas Eve was a time spent with family— a time for gifts under the tree, multicolored lights in the windows, and sending cheesy postcards in the mail.
Yet here she is, stocking up on sustenance as she rushes to get back to the dormitories before it gets too dark to be comfortable with walking back alone. A violation of Christmas spirit in human form, feeling not unlike Ebenezer Scrooge.
Barology by MissAquarius
gen; 4.6k; chapters 1/1 complete
Barology: the study of gravity.
intersection by kiroiimye
gen; 1.2k; chapters 1/1 complete; uraraka & bakugou
“Getting coffee, obviously.” She doesn’t want to meet his eyes and it’s only happened once before; the first times had been intimidation from hardened crimson eyes. But as the years went on, she had grown past that stage; he was more a classmate than enemy. “Would you like to—
“Nope.” It’s flippant, over-the-shoulder, but Bakugou makes no move to leave and Ochako can’t help but smile wryly.
It’s the sort of thing he’d pull when they were younger.
Ochako runs into Bakugou after graduation.
momentous by kiroiimye
gen; 2/6k; chapters 1/1 complete
She’s in the middle of a math lesson, ignoring the whispers behind her back when the rumbling starts. It’s a dull roar in the beginning, and it’s when the pens start rattling on her desk that she stops the lecture. Even the students have gone quiet in their seats, the room stilled with tension.
“Uraraka-sensei, what was that?”
Ochako squares her shoulders, lowering her voice. “I don’t know, but stay alert.”
And then the water comes rushing in.
Becoming a teacher was not part of Ochako's post-U.A. plans, and yet here she is. Standing in front of a raucous class of about twenty teenagers, who all seem to have it out for her. Really, why is she here again?
The Hunger for Survival by SingingCookie
gen; 6.2k; chapters 1/1 complete
People say your early life shapes you, really molds you into the person you’ll become. Likes, dislikes, the habits, the tics, and the pet peeves… A majority of that when you grow up is influenced by where you came from.
Ochako’s early life shaped her into someone who knew how to survive—but it was always the living that fell just out of reach.
one hundred percent by UnidentifiedPie
gen; 2.2k; chapters 1/1 complete
White like bone, Uraraka thinks, mind flashing back to the people she saw on the street. Civilians lying all around, eyes blank and staring and dead. The defeated hero, body a mangled mess, spilled organs and shattered, bloodied bone.
She’d watched that hero die. The villain Uraraka had fought had gripped him by the neck and supercharged his blood, contorted his body into something twisted and terrible. She’d run for him, something screaming in her heart and lungs and nononono-
-but she wasn’t fast enough. And it didn’t matter anyway; the man had been dead before he’d hit the ground.
Patchwork by bishounen_curious
gen; 6.8k; chapters 1/1 complete; uraraka & 1a/1b girls
At the beginning of Third Year, Ochako suggests to the girls in the Hero Course that they make a patchwork quilt to commemorate their time together at U.A., their friendship and their solidarity as women in the hero profession. Something private and special that they all can share for years to come.
However, the quilt doesn't get finished. And it never does.
at long last by Quintessence
gen; 2.7k; chapter 1/1 complete; uraraka family
"Her parents were proud. The kind of proud that came from decades of unrelenting hard work matched in intensity only by their miserable luck. The kind of proud that made them refuse the money Ochako sent after her every paycheck. The kind of proud that was going to make a gift of the magnitude she planned to give go down as easily as a mouthful of chalky pills without water."
In which pro-hero Uravity finally achieves her lifelong dream of giving her parents an easy life.
got your six by Quintessence
gen; 1.6k; chapters 1/1 complete; uraraka & bakugou
“Oh, yeah, they rejected my application,” Uraraka says, like it’s nothing, which, Bakugou decides, fists clenched under the table, it most certainly isn’t. “They’re mostly a combat-based agency, and they thought I’d be better suited for a rescue oriented one. So I’m gonna keep looking. I mean, Kurashiki Agencies isn’t the only game in town, so I’m a little bummed, but it’s okay.”
And then she has the nerve to smile, making her full, pink cheeks even rounder, shrug, and take a sip of her drink. Bakugou has to breathe deeply before he replies, because he really is working on not lashing out as much anymore, but the anger burns and bubbles like boiling water in his stomach.
“That’s the biggest fucking load of bullshit I’ve ever heard, Round-Face.” His teeth are clenched as he speaks, but at least he’s not yelling. “I mean, have they even seen what you can do? Or did they just take one look at your Quirk and fucking write you off?”
In which Uraraka gets rejected from a hero agency, and Bakugou is her most aggressive (and I mean aggressive) supporter.
Like an Onion by BigDangoFamily
gen; 3.7k; chapters 1/1 complete; uraraka & aoyama, background/minor uraraka/midoriya
It was strange, Uraraka thought, how someone so sparkly and so over-the-top could fade into the background so easily. Even with his theatrical nature and his showy costume and his (quite literally) dazzling Quirk, Uraraka had somehow never noticed Aoyama that much.
He was a piece of the background; he helped make up the landscape of their class; he was a figure her eyes automatically skipped over in her search for her friends—which, when she put it like that, made it sound pretty harsh.
It wasn’t that she particularly disliked Aoyama. She would gladly enjoy time spent hanging out with anyone in Class 1-A (well, maybe not Mineta), and she was friendly to all her classmates. That was how she was. It was just that, somehow, her eyes had always seemed to glide right off of Aoyama.

hc about what happened in the time jump for the bryce and raf routes to fix this mess? Make the lack of progression make sense! please and thank you
Sorry it’s taken a while to get these two done, i’ve been too busy living in my carefully curated Ethan timeline 😅 You can find Ethan x MC During the Time Jump here. (raf will be another post)
Bryce x MC During the Time Jump
After the gala, things weren’t that much different between them.
The most notable difference was the intimacy. It seemed stronger, deeper. Effortless.
They weren’t casual anymore that much was certain. They weren’t just fucking for fun. They were making love to last a life time. Their bodies knew one another in a tale as old as time.
But they’re both too timid to admit it. They won’t say the weighted phrase until they’re certain life and residency won’t tear them apart.
MC spent any free time she could having dinners with Keiki and Bryce. MC did most of the cooking but Bryce was the best sous chef learning how to adventure past pasta. The two doctor’s helping the teen out with her homework however they could. As smart as they are, they don’t understand Common Core...
But then Ethan turning the hospital into a greater version of the clinic meant MC was constantly busy. She barely even had 30 minutes to grab lunch. And sometimes she was even much too tired for drinks at Donahue’s.
Bryce had to lean on his surgical acquaintances a lot more now that his internal medicine buddies weren’t around. The clinic hadn’t trickled down to the surgical department; mostly because there were only so many ORs and you couldn’t rush procedures.
The week before Thanksgiving Bryce and Keiki were invited to MC’s apartment to celebrate with her roommates on their only day off together in weeks.
Despite the exhaustion everyone felt, they were up early and super cheery.
Sienna did most of the cooking with MC and Aurora lending a hand. Bryce and Jackie were on drinks duty and Elijah was in charge of entertainment.
They all crowded around the dining table on the matching chairs and ones from their bedroom desks in order to accommodate. It was a mismatch but it was perfect.
Conversation flowed freely and everyone said what they’re thankful for and what they think the upcoming year will hold.
Then out of seemingly nowhere Keiki brought up boarding school.
Bryce looked at her with utter shock. The other’s asked questions about it.
Keiki shrugged saying, “it’s just an idea. I can’t live with Bryce forever”.
It was true, but doesn’t mean Bryce felt a little sad at his sister leaving all too soon.
Christmas came sooner than anyone realized.
MC saw her family the weekend before the holiday as became her tradition since med school.
Since Bryce’s call to his mother about the funds to send Keiki to boarding school, she was sending him more messages and asking Keiki to come home for the holiday. She offered to pay for first class flights for her two darling children to come home.
Both Lahela’s were against it.
Bryce took off as much time as he could to spend with the kid before she goes to school. But there’s only a handful of days he could take off at the busiest time of the year.
He managed to get Christmas and the day after off, and a half day on Christmas Eve.
Eve evening, Bryce came home to half priced decorations unceremoniously scattered about his living room, and Keiki and Mc standing on the couch trying to hang a daisy chain banner that looked like kindergarteners made it.
He couldn’t help but smile and pull MC into the biggest hug. She made everything 1000x better.
The small family spent the evening eating and laughing and decorating the table top tree MC and Keiki picked up at the Walgreens down the street.
Cuddled up on the sofa in each other’s arms and Keiki on the makeshift bed she’d been sleeping on since her arrival, they watched classic Christmas movies and ate chocolate. It was perfect.
Except MC had to work the next evening.
The amount of patients coming through Edenbrook’s doors tripled in the upcoming days and kept everyone busy.
Luckily the group of friends were able to spend New Years together.
There wasn’t a single question as to if they were kissing at midnight.
Bryce started kissing MC during the countdown; from her neck, up her jaw to her ear, cheeks, to the tip of her nose and then her lips at midnight.
Shortly after the brief celebrations with the others, the two retired to her bedroom and kept ringing in the new year the right way.
Keiki leaves for boarding school a few days after New Years. It was a very emotional journey down to Connecticut.
Bryce was endlessly thankful MC accompanied him. Without her he’s pretty sure if would have cried a lot more on the drive home. And he probably would have stopped off at some sketchy gas station for a pick-me-up snack. Thankfully, MC suggested they hit Buffalo Wild Wings before entering the city instead.
The couple thought Keiki being gone would give them more time together.
They were so wrong.
Mc got busier and busier and her time off didn’t coincide with his schedule, and everything got so damn complicated.
They hadn’t seen one another properly outside the hospital that wasn’t in passing in weeks.
So Bryce carved out some time around Valentine’s Day.
MC was too busy to even realize the significance of the day. Every single day melded together to the point she didn’t know what was up or down, the month and barely clocked the time.
She was leaning against the nurse’s station rapidly filling out charts when Bryce made a move.
He slid up next to her, rubbed her shoulders and told her to take break with him.
“Bryce I can’t I have patients. You see that line don’t you?”
“You haven’t taken lunch yet,” he said simply. He dropped his hands and turned around and called, “Hey Inès, MC is going on lunch!”
“Enjoy!” the senior resident called back.
Bryce folded up the charts, handed them to Sarah behind the desk and dragged MC by both the wrists down the hall to the elevator.
“Where are we going?” MC asked.
Bryce may have set up a little rendezvous spot in a shut down inpatient wing. He had some take out he picked up from the café around the corner set up by the window and two clinical chairs. On the still-made bed was a stuffed bear holding a “Be Mine” heart and chocolate that he certainly did not steal from the gift shop.
“The last time we were in one of these something really magical happened,” he said as he closed the door behind them.
“The only thing magic was your hands.” MC wrapped her arms around his neck and pecked his lips.
The evening of the group’s night on the town started off rough and stressful.
Bryce admitted he applied for a transfer to MK. He needs to be in Boston or really any hospital within driving distance of his sister’s school. She didn’t fly all the way out here just to be abandoned by him again.
MC understood - of course she understood his reason for staying here. She just didn’t know what to do for herself. They hadn’t talked about the long term, if they were going to try and be close. They hadn’t talked about their future at all, actually. The only times they did Keiki was the main subject.
And she guessed she just had to apply to places and hope for the best. She knew where he’d be and now she needs to figure out if she fits into that.
When applications got sad and boring the group got all dolled up and went out for a drink. Or six. Enough alcohol to forget the awkwardness that was earlier in their apartment. To forget the looming uncertainty of their unofficial relationship.
Bryce was committed. MC was committed. They just weren’t vocal about their devout commitment.
They got so drunk and ended up at the helipad on top of Edenbrook.
Cracking beers in hand, dancing and singing and enjoying the evening to it’s fullest. Bryce held her close and they lamented on the view as they sat against the wall, anticipating the sunrise over the horizon.
The nightly breeze picked up. He rubbed patterns up and down her arms and she drew circles at his inner thigh.
MC looked at him, their eyes locking.
Bryce’s lips turned upwards in a weighted smile. MC leaned her forehead against his and let out the sigh she didn’t know she was holding in.
He kissed the corner of her mouth. Then her cheek. Then her nose. Then her neck. Her hands gripping to the lapels of his sports coat.
They went back to his place and they didn’t talk about the future at all. Both of them clinging to the here and now.
That evening they didn’t have sex. They held one other the entire night. They fell asleep to the sound of the other’s heartbeat.
Small pleasantries were exchanged in the morning along with light kisses.
For another time that year, they both felt the change.
Edenbrook’s last day came and they were both in their feelings. Bryce was set to start at MK in a few weeks time and MC still didn’t know where she was going. Not a single application response on the east coast had come back yet.
Bryce was standing outside with his best friends when the lights of Edenbrook finally went off that fateful day.
Minutes later MC walked out. He noticed how her features, mood and hopes simultaneously fell lower than he’d seen in a while.
Her eyes found him right away, his arms waiting for her. She melted into his hug. Deep in his embrace with all her friends chattering around them, a part of her hoped they could compromise. There was so much more to explore between them. This couldn’t be the end.
The entire Boston Bucket List event was bittersweet. As much as they enjoyed the escapades and these memories with their friends Bryce and MC just wanted some time alone. They needed time together to combat the unknown.
By the time it was MC’s turn she chose a total cop-out. A kiss with Bryce.
A kiss she hoped encompassed every feeling she was too scared to say. A kiss that told him just how much the uncertainty of their future was eating her up inside. A kiss he desperately needed as well.

Time with Wolves -- Chapter 18
Just as Thanksgiving had been overshadowed by Robb and questions about his possibly expecting new girlfriend, Christmas was dominated by Robb and his definitely expecting fiancée. Although they still had guests over, it was a rushed affair with more focus on what was to come in the next two weeks than on the day itself. Normally Catelyn spent a generous amount of time shopping to get the best sales and make sure each of her children got two or three fancier items, with a smattering of smaller gifts they’d all come to expect—wall calendars, underwear, fuzzy socks, chapstick, new gloves, wolf-related paraphernalia.
But this year, those little items were nowhere to be found. Instead, they’d gotten mostly gift cards and items they’d need for the wedding, like bowties, emergency first-aid kits, and Advil.
“I’m sorry,” Cat told them Christmas morning after they’d finished opening their presents. “I know this isn’t exactly following tradition.”
“It’s fine, Mum,” Sansa assured her. “We know this year is a bit…unusual.”
“That’s one way to put it,” Arya noted dryly. “I’d say—”
“Arya,” said Sansa, sensing the need to deescalate the situation, “why don’t you help me go get everyone some eggnog?”
Ned gave her a grateful look and then went back to trying to comfort Cat.
When they were in the safety of the kitchen, Arya heaved a sigh. “I hope Robb knows he owes us a Christmas after fucking up this one for us.”
Their elder brother was over at the Westerlings house, having stayed the night with the future in-laws. He was bringing Jane over later in the afternoon to eat with the Starks. Sansa wasn’t sure if it wouldn’t have been wiser to stay away.
She caught Arya eyeing the kitchen knives.
“C’mon, let’s get breakfast ready. The snow outside looks perfect for making snowballs. You and Rickon can challenge Bran to a fight while I help Mom with dinner. Maybe see if Dad wants in.”
Arya dragged her gaze away from the knives. “All right then.” Since her mom was busy helping Mrs. Westerling with wedding preparation—or complaining about being left out—Sansa had taken up a lot of the slack. The first few days, it had been nice to focus on something tactile after her exams. They weren’t her hardest batch of tests, but her Equal Protection Law professor decided last minute he wouldn’t let them bring in their case briefs and they had to do everything from memory—and Prof. Lannister forced her to rewrite one of her papers because she didn’t like the topic Sansa had chosen, namely the importance of portrayals of more traditionally feminine characters in positions of strength in prestige television shows. And all that extra work had made Sansa last couple of weeks of the semester exhausting. But this wedding prep was exhausting in a different way. Almost every conversation she had was about the wedding, and it was frankly getting on her nerves. Sansa normally enjoyed wedding talk and organizing; she had a whole scrapbook to prove it. But everything was so rushed, and the logistics were so complicated that the whole thing just felt stressful, not fun. But there was no way to avoid it—as the entire Stark clan was involved and working their damndest to make this wedding happen. Sansa knew she was starting to tire her friends with discussion of it, and she’d even started to dream about catering menus and napkin colors. “It sounds like you could use a break,” said Gilly sympathetically over the phone after Sansa ranted about the wedding preparations to her for over thirty minutes. The wedding was only five days away now, and she was so ready for it to be over. “Or a lobotomy,” Sansa muttered. Gilly chuckled awkwardly. “Sorry, I’m being a total grouch. You’ve been so lovely to listen to me complain. We’ve barely spoken about you. Oh Gilly, I miss you and the girls.” “I miss you too. Sansa. I wish I were there to watch movies and eat lemon cakes with you, but I’ve got to help my sisters with the farm. Speaking of which, I’ve got to get going. But call me again, if you ever need to let off some steam. You know Brienne, Meera, and I have got your back. Keep your head up, Stark, and remember—it’s up to you to decide how you treat others.” “Thanks, Gilly. You always know what to say. Tell your sisters I say, ‘Happy New Year.’ Love you!” “Love you too!” Sansa took Gilly’s advice and left the house to clear her head and visit Ghost. His exuberance upon seeing her again was more than enough to help her sour mood. And she felt calmer by the minute as she brushed out his long coat with Ghost’s face in her lap. “You are my favorite boy in the whole world, Ghost,” she told him. “And I’ll never not love you.”
As she was getting ready to leave the sanctuary of Ghost’s pen behind, Sansa ran into Mr. Mormont. “Back for another visit, eh?”
“You know I can’t bear to be away from him for long.”
Mr. Mormont shook his head. “Never met a more spoiled beast in my life.”
Sansa just waved her hand.
“Thank you, though, Miss Sansa, for the new hat and scarf,” he said, gesturing to the items she’d scrambled to finish knitting on time for Christmas. “I’ll see you at the wedding in a few days.”
Sansa sighed. “That’s right. The event of the season.”
“I’ll expect a dance.”
That made her smile. “You got it.” When she got home from the reservation, Arya kept her company while she started on dinner. It was just them and Rickon, as her parents and Robb were eating with the Westerlings and Bran was hanging out with Hodor. It was not the most exciting as far as New Year’s Eves went, but she was fine with a drama-free evening. Gendry would be coming over later once he was done with work, and she was hoping to fall asleep on the couch before the ball even dropped.
“What should we eat?” Sansa studied the refrigerator with a frown. She was tired of leftovers of savory dishes. She spotted the maple syrup. “How would you feel about breakfast for dinner?” “I feel very good about that.” “Done.” Arya shuffled around as Sansa pulled out what she needed for French toast. “So when is Dickon getting in?” “Tomorrow at 3. I’m going to pick him up at the train station, and he’s going to be staying in Rickon’s room.” “Gross.” Sansa sighed. “I know. Bran offered his, but he needs the extra mobility and access. Rickon’s room will have to do.” “I’ll help you clean it tonight. I know where Rickon hides all his bugs.” Sansa groaned. “I’m looking forward to getting to know him better.” “Yeah? I’m glad. It’s such a shame he hasn’t had much of a chance to meet everyone before. I kind of feel like I’m throwing him to the wolves.” Arya laughed. “Gendry will be around for him to talk to, and luckily Robb will be too busy to do anything stupid to scare him off.” Sansa stopped beating the eggs in front of her. She could still remember that night when Robb upended what was supposed to be her first date with Jon; things were never the same after their conversation in the car. She hadn’t thought much about that night—had purposefully tried to push it from her mind till she got so good at pretending it had never happened. But thinking about it now made her realize how angry she still felt, how unresolved her feelings were about Robb’s interference and Jon’s abandonment.
With a flash, she could still remember the feeling, almost like being kicked in the stomach, when Robb had suggested Jon would never actually want to hang out with her had it not been for Ghost and the way Jon had avoided her eye and refused to stand up for her.
Gods, that had hurt.
She wasn’t a pining, lovesick teenager anymore—by any means. But the memory of that pain still ached.
She realized then, whisk in hand, that she did want answers and that perhaps more closure would help her to put that chapter of her adolescence and her whole history with Jon to rest. How much she wanted to sew up that wound and let it heal so she could finally move on.
“Sans?” “What? Oh, sorry. Just got lost in thought.” “S’fine. I just said you’ll have to be careful with Rickon, too. Cause you know, Dickon’s name isn’t exactly...” Sansa rolled her eyes and stirred some cinnamon into her egg mixture. “I’ve known many dicks in my life, but Dickon Tarly is not one of them. He can handle a joke.” “Can he handle five thousand?” The next morning she met up with Margaery to get their nails done. Sansa chose pale pink for her fingernails and blood red for her toes; Margaery went with mauve and gold. As their nails were polished, they flipped through fashion magazines and discussed hair and makeup options for the wedding. “I’m thinking long, glossy curls for the hair and something more demur for the makeup.” “Just you.” “Well, the dress shows so much cleavage, I have to leave something to the imagination.” Sansa rolled her eyes. “Mmhm.” “And what about you?”
“Me? I can imagine your cleavage just fine.”
“Sansa Minisa Stark!” Margaery exclaimed. “You are terrible today. I love it.” Sansa rolled her eyes.
“What dress is worthy of such a person?”
“I honestly wouldn’t get your hopes up. I’m probably going to wear this purple dress I wore to a school dance a couple years ago.” It was a nice dress with long sleeves and a floor-length skirt that would keep her warm. And no one who’d be attending the wedding had seen her in it before. It wasn’t going to drop any jaws, but it was pretty enough. “You aren’t going to get something new?” “There hasn’t been much time.” “Darling, there’s always time for a new dress.” Conveniently, Marg didn’t have any afternoon plans so she went with Sansa to pick up Dickon from the train station. During the ride, they discussed Sansa’s law school applications—in all the excitement she’d barely even registered that she’d already gotten two acceptances via email—and Marg’s plans to take what she learned in business school to open up her own floral shop with her grandmother. “Just better you than me,” Sansa said when she heard the news. “What? Gran is an absolute lamb.” “If you say so,” Sansa demurred. Margaery clapped her hands. “Enough shop talk. Tell me more about your beau. I saw pictures online. He looks like a complete dish.” Marg shoved a picture of a shirtless Dickon under her nose. “I’d positively pay to lick him clean.” Sansa turned a little pink. In the couple of weeks they’d been apart, she’d almost forgotten how handsome he truly was. “He is...occasionally very dishy.” “Oh, you absolute minx! I wish my date had shoulders like that.” “Who are you bringing again?” “Arianne Martell. I met her in one of my business classes. She’s very beautiful, and we’ve gone on a couple of dates, but it’s more casual. I only asked her—well, because I didn’t want to go alone. I didn’t think I could handle—well, you know, I always did have a crush on Robb...” Sansa knew, of course; her friend had never been shy about telling her all the inappropriate things she wanted to do to her older brother. But Margaery was a flirt; Sansa has always assumed she was joking, or at least exaggerating her crush on him. Now, though, Marg looked like she was fighting back tears. “Marg, I—" Her friend’s face transformed into a beaming smile. “Now, now, I think I see a pair of hulking shoulders at two o’clock. Run to him, won’t you, Sansa dear?” Sansa rolled her eyes but nevertheless did a sort of skipping run into his open arms. He was warm and smelled like roasted coffee and peppermint and held her close. “I’m so glad you’re here,” Sansa whispered into his neck. “Me too.” “I missed you.” Dickon smiled and pulled away so he could see her face. “Yeah?” “Yeah.” “Can I kiss you—just real quick?” “Please.” Smiling, he leaned down to capture her lips—a little longer than he had said he would. “Happy New Year,” he whispered with his lips against her cheek and at her ear. He was still smiling, but his lips began to frown as he pulled away. “Your friend is watching us, I think.” “Oh, I’m sure she is.” “Should I be worried about what I’ve gotten myself into?” “About Margaery? She’s just the tip of the iceberg.” “She doesn’t look that dangerous to me.” Sansa give him a wry smile. “Even roses have thorns. And you’ve just entered the wolves’ den.” “Good thing I have you to protect me.” “Good thing.” “How are you—really?” Sansa sighed. “My big brother is getting married in a shotgun wedding to a girl I think he only met about three months ago, my parents are absolutely overwhelmed, and my younger siblings are barely keeping it together. I’m as good as can be expected under the circumstances. How are you?” She plastered on a smile, laced her gloved fingers through his, and led him away from the train. “Ready to meet Margaery?” He swallowed nervously. “I think you were right about her being dangerous. She looks like she’s going to eat me.” Margaery must have overheard him because she grinned beatifically and winked at him. “With a spoon, handsome.”
Sansa tried not to laugh at the strangled noise that emerged from Dickon’s throat, but it was too perfectly hilarious. “I’m really glad you’re here,” she told him again.
“Nowhere I’d rather be.”

Day 1182
Okay so I already done fucked this so let's go again here reee to deleting things.
It's been 3 1/4 years since I started this and so much has changed. Let's start at the beginning shall we. Last time we were here I was stressing about exam results and my place in the world. Here's my thoughts kinda ordered but also really not.
Leaving home; Well, the first and biggest event was leaving home to go live w my dad. Tbh I think the less said the better
Relationship; My longtime crush asked my out and I was crazy enough to not initially accept him! We all went together as family members to go see Cosmo Sheldrake which was incredible multigenerational experience even if I was exhausted
Swimming; This was not the greatest of days. I was so overwhelmed that I couldn't even get out of bed to go on a day I'd really looked forward to with my 2 best friends. I think I worried them but just ghosting out but I was really touched how they completely turned my day around. It was also during that period which we absolutely abused free cinema tickets to go see mamma Mia 2 and into the fade (weird German movie)
We got Harry and Peter
Prom, picnic: I'd had my hair and nails done with mog and it was insanely hot. well it all started with morrigan and finn coming over to watch the handmaiden. They stayed the night and it was lovely but I felt like absolute garbage the next day, which was when we were supposed to go on a picnic but I ended up on my dad's bathroom floor for most of the day. I still felt a bit woozy the day after for prom but I just had to keep drinking and I was okay despite nearly flashing many people including my tutor and head of year. I stayed at mogs but didn't go to the after party bc of the obvious shiteness. I had a lovely or not so lovely chat with finn on the floor. We all eventually passed out in a spoon train only to be awoken by Joanna throwing malteasers at us through the window.
Budapest; this meant I ended up going to London twice in about 3 days. The first trip was with finn and Dom to go see flight of the conchords. It was fantastic. Then came the trip to buda. We travelled to Lucy's House where we had amazing pizza and a fitful night's sleep. Then caught a taxi and an insanely early bus to Heathrow. We made it and the ended up having to pelt across Munich. When we arrived in buda the first mishap was Radley getting yeeted off of the bus by the driver and they had to sneak back on. Then we went to our lovely apartment and then did all the usual things of sightseeing, looking at museums, going to the baths and ruin bars as well as cat cafes. The house of terror and the hospital in the rock were really amazing experiences. Also surprisingly there were some really cool thrift stores! Then we came back and ended up getting stuck at Heathrow by missing our bus by like 2 minutes. Luckily radleys dad picked us up for the long journey back home.
Our birthday happened at some point maybe hereish?
Exam results; I was insanely stressed about these. I couldn't sleep the night before. Morrigan messaged me in the morning to say she'd gotten her results before ucas was technically supposed to open so of course I checked. I was able to tell my dad before we even left the house and he cried. We met my mum down at school to collect my actual results and then went for tea. I got a monkey card which was honestly the most exciting thing.
Greenman; we actually had tent poles this time and I married an alien.
Camping; we met up with some people we haven't met up with for ages and we basically had freedom to fuck around in Lyme Regis and the surrounding areas. I got a load of cool free badges from a vintage shop owner because I helped him sort them. There were so many other cursed shops it was great especially the penny arcade where we spent a lot of our time. Also I lost the end of my toe to a wall in Lyme Regis which was real exciting. On our way back the worst happened and I had to pee in someone's driveway.
Greenbelt; I've already kinda talked about this but I've never been to a place where I know so many artists. It was so nice to be independent but also have a great time with my dad and rest of the family. It was the first time we'd been there alone for a very very long time.
Uni prep; this was wild and I couldn't do it and kinda had a breakdown which included spreading my stuff all over the living room. Finn came over and calmed me down so much.
Coming to uni; my dad brought me up here to Manchester with all my badly packed stuff. We moved in and he gave me this real cute necklace and painting which made me cry which set him off. We set up my room and he left. I just sat down and didn't know what to do with myself. So I did the thing only a normal person would do and knock on every single door in my block in the hope that someone would answer and one person did! It was Emily. I felt so awkward the first time just like sat with her. Luckily I encouraged her to go around again and I met more people. When my family came up to see me we even dragged Dan and Albert out with us.
Freshers; this was incredible. I met so many people at jcr events in Vickies. It was so sweaty and crowded. There were two biggish events for me. The first one was the palaver of deansgate takeover. I forgot my ID. I tried to take the bus back but it took me to the wrong accommodation. Then found somebody willing to buy me an uber and come to my accommodation where we luckily picked up chloe as well. We then finally made it in. This was the night I met Gabriel. Secondly was the night I boycott the festival and met up with randoms in Plymouth . It was great fun even if we don't really talk. However this was all a little marred by Finns breakdown at freshers. We were all so worried.
First semester was just a time of getting familiar with everything and messing around, learning how uni and essays worked. I went to Swansea to surprise Finns for the weekend and he almost cried. Also travelling back from mogs at 2am we just got left by the bus driver which was interesting to say the least.
Christmas and New year: this was a crazy time, we had a really nice few Christmas days. The first actual one was with mum. We basically just ate and watched TV throughout the day. Then there was one where we met up with the cousins which was indeed lovely. Grandma went into hospital on new year's eve, we kinda knew it was the beginning of the end. This meant my entire new year's was nervous but I felt surrounded by friends still.
Now. The here and now. Everything this still crazy. I feel a load closer with my flatmates. We've laughed, cried and gotten drunk. We've danced all night and done all manners of dumb shit. There's been love and slightly less anger. We had an amazing dinner dance the other night and it was truly fantastic to be there with people. After was a also really good fun and we cuddled together until about 7am. Beside my flatmates I've met many great people through our Friday drinks. Aurora, zillion, luke, Danny, jess, gabby and karin etc. I've also got to see kash, aoife and phoebe again. Finn came to see me in Manchester for an entire week so he also met them. It snowed loads and was wonderful. We cooked, slept, messed around, watched films whatever and it was great.
The future-- for me in the short term its relatively simple. I just need to write essays and pass my classes and it's all gucci. However the day after tomorrow is brexit and the who really knows?
