If I ever decide Toyang is Leandro's biological parent, I'd make it so none of the narrating voices ever bring it up as connected and neither Toyang or Leandro connect the dots that he was born 10 months after she left and that his skin and hair is darker than his biological mom and everyone in his mom's side of the family... I mean they're in their 70s and 50s respectively like they don't need a parent-child relationship at this point.

Also Toyang would never come out as trans to this weird husk of a man. She's too good for that. And Leandro would never admit he might've been lied to by his mother and his "father" migh'tve accidentally abandoned him. The only person who would ever notice is if someone read what I wrote and took down the dates.

and I'd make it official because I think it would be funny if the person they once regretted or mourned was right in front of them. and had rancid vibes. just curdled milk vibes.
