You’re a little unsure how to get out of the cenote. There’s the hole in the ceiling, but that doesn’t seem accessible to you or the boys. There’s deeper portions of the water you’d guess have functional exits, but you doubt you can hold your breath that long. There’s other parts of the cave from what you can see, but you‘re unsure of going very far for risk of getting lost, and you doubt the boys would be able to find you if you went in.

Sun wakes up with the sunrise, stretching his long body with a toothy yawn. He rolls onto his back, unfurling his gills and rolling his shoulders back as he sits up. It’s admittedly quite cute. Moon is fast asleep now, curled like a cat. Sun pulls himself to the water and presses his face into the water, drinking much like a snake.

You can’t help but be a little amused. Sun chitters at you, and you try to make the noise back. Whatever you said must have been…interesting, because his eyes widen and he tilts his head. He makes a noise in his throat like ‘Mghmmm’. You ask him what he means, but of course get no response.

Moon moves slightly in his sleep, and Sun gives you a look as if to indicate it’s your turn to cuddle up. You shrug at him, and Sun warbles before sliding with a small splash into the water. He disappears soon, headed to one of the exits beyond your sight.

Oh well. First order of business if you’re stuck here anyway. You check the food you have and you’ve got enough for maybe two days if you can ration it well, and enough uneaten bait that if you can catch anything, you can maybe eat for a week. You doubt you’ll catch anything in a siren’s cave. You have a decent blanket, so you’re unlikely to get hypothermia for now, but if the weather worsens your luck will probably run out.

You also don’t know if they’ll decide to eat you. That’s also a problem. Moon growls softly in his sleep, scraping gently at the sand under his claws. It’s followed by a soft, content noise, and he visibly relaxes.

You wonder what sirens dream about.

Does this mean Morro takes Lloyd’s place as the one left alone in the Monastery for years, and training Sora and Arin as his students?

actually, both in this exact order

but morro didn't wanted to train them like lloyd tried in original. at some point he was growing up protected and kept away from fighting as Wu did everything he could to not let his son get hurt, and even tho it wasn't always succesful, he understood why. he was too young for all he had to do and see and in his eyes they also are too young, but the times they live in makes him at least teach them self defence, so he takes everything slowly, letting them have thier teenage years for them

also, he was more preoccupied with finding harumi and mr. e (echo) more than even thinking about fully training some random kids. he can be more seen as a older brother than master for them

on the other hand, lloyd and brad where one of those people who got missing durring merge and later on managed to travel through every leftover parts of the realms that didn't merge with ninjago. and they actually had good time together, like, great heavens, they got married durring their journey back to ninjago. it wasn't bad times for them (and lloyd enjoyed it a bit too much). brad finally understood that education in ecology was useless but started amateur tinkering, at some point getting what he's doing and technology went bruum (also his dangerous inventions helped them get back to ninjago). and lloyd finally lived. away from the green ninja destiny he still didn't accept

so when they finally got back, sora was waaayyy too happy that wow there's someone who also is into science and stuff. long story short, lloyd just got along with arin and sora started forcing brad into adopting her
