My first thought was that the Young Royals from the series title were going to be Wille and Erik lmaooooo and yeah! I also thought Felice was going to be Wille's love interest lmao I thought Wille was going to be problematic AF and didn't expect to feel so protective of him at all lol

AND SAME! I felt so dumb for thinking in heterosexual terms (being queer myself like wtf self) because Wille's face when he first saw Simon singing??? Probably the Best ™️ "I think I'm in love with this angel" face I've ever seen in a teenager. And I understood completely because I had to pause the episode after I first gazed upon Simon, because he's so BEAUTIFUL and his voiiiice and UGHHHH I loved him instantly 😭

Wasn't prepared for them to be so GOOD together immediately like I thought they were gonna draaaag it and was pleasantly surprised both Simon and Wille (in the end!) were so honest with their feelings. Then the rest of the storyline developed and my mind was blown and the chemistry of my brain was altered forever.

I also hated August as soon as he interacted with Wille and never stopped hating him lol

my older sister started yr and she said that wille has fuckboy energy while she was in the first 10 minutes of the show and i think we all had that thought when we started

I am sorry, but the devs really ruined for me that character. Her squeaky eng voice and lines dont help either... really wish that more lines were given on Lumine’s (or Aether’s) VA. Their voices are sooo nice, why they keep on using Paimon as exposition vector?
