13. What is their go-to for making a partner feel loved?

For Asmar the most natural way to express love is taking care of someone, often in quite mundane ways. When he wants to make Aeran feel loved, he will make and bring him hot drink with spices, made exactly the way Aeran takes it, or peel and cut a fruit for him, any kind of small physical comfort.

For Aeran it would be providing a feeling of closeness — a hug, holding a hand, reminding Asmar that he is here.

As for more significant and less mundane situations, Asmar's way of making Aeran feel loved would be standing by him and taking his side, even in uncertain situations. For Aeran, it would be listening to Asmar's opinion, trusting him to do the right thing for both of them

15. What, for them, constitutes a level of intimacy that they would only rarely share with someone? This can be physical, emotional, etc.

Hands down letting the other see them in a bad state (physical and emotional) and not feeling the need to cover it up. Admitting "yea, I am so unwell right now".

19. Are they okay with public displays of affection? Do they like them?

They are both pretty closed off with PDA, leaving it to the privacy of being alone. However, the reassuring touch is so ingrained in their interactions that they are still pretty obvious in their reaching for each other. The kisses and anything more tender than taking a hand are exclusively private though.

22. What does sex mean for them? Socially, religiously, what attitudes are they bringing with them? Is “virginity” something they care about? Do they want sexual experiences to occur within a certain “level” of relationship, or does that not really matter so much to them?

They both don't have any specific attitude for sex as something sacred or religious, however Asmar is more open to casual sex in general, it used to be one of his coping mechanisms in a period between the Vestran war and reunion with Aeran in Karth. After Karth he didn't feel the drive for it anymore, perceiving it more as exhausting, which was one of the things that pushed him to examine his changed feelings for Aeran. Aeran meanwhile prefers sex to happen in relationship, as it brings a level of vulnerability and trust with it.

I think the main attitude they both bring to sexual relationships is the embrace of being here, being close and vulnerable and being still — somehow — alive
