#Candela Obscura talk in the tags#I'm just. this map isn't labeled so I'm going off vibes but. the Steel is on the other side of the river from South Soffit?#South Soffit's blue collar population being largely dock workers--sure. but who's working the factories?#the Steel as part of recent urban sprawl because of the advent of electricity and industrialization--fine.#the Steel's obvious proximity to the Red Lamp--great. clock out and ____ out :)))#I just think they painted themselves into a corner with this map#swap that area with Briar Green. expand the Steel and Red Lamp all the way to the rail line#and put the second rail station on that side of the river. feels organic you know?#I just have a hard time accepting the whole city could be *that* class-integrated and enlightened#when South Soffit is literally beneath the Eaves#that tells me there are a lot of folks in Newfaire who would prefer to keep a river between them and the folk who keep the lights on#anyway it bugs me. I hope when the full sourcebook comes out I'm wrong about which districts are which OR they fully rearrange them#Urban Design Is My Passion
