AITA for not telling my family I was going to an amusement park with my best friend?
I (17F) am the middle child of two brothers (11M, "Ryan", and 21M, "Liam). Ryan is pretty social and well-adjusted, but I am in no way exaggerating when I say I am Liam's only friend. I have two good friends, "Addison" (18F) and "Alex" (16M). Because of Liam's lack of a social life, my mom often sends him with me when I go out with friends. She also makes Ryan tag along more often than not.
I go to a school dance with Alex, she makes Liam come along. I go over to Addison's house, she sends Ryan with me. I go skating with Addison, Liam comes too. I spend the night with Alex, Ryan also spends the night (Alex and I have never forgotten that night, because Ryan didn't want to be there either. I still don't know why Mom made him come). You get the picture.
It's at the point that whenever I go out, I either don't say where I'm going until I'm back, or I only tell them if they CANNOT manage to squeeze a brother in. I was hanging out with Alex the other day, and he mentions that he has a guest pass to a nearby amusement park that I love, and he asks if I want to go. I accept, and we make plans. I don't tell my parents because they already have tickets for my brothers and I at some point this summer, and if I said something, they would probably just tell me to use those tickets instead of the guest pass Alex offered, and this way, I get to go twice.
I don't even tell my parents I'm leaving until day-of, I just say that I'm "spending the day out with Alex." They tell me to have fun and be back before dark, and I do. Alex's dad is also there with us as a chaperone, so we aren't alone. The day is great, we have a blast, I come home.
When I get back, my mom asks where I was, what I did, was it fun, all that typical stuff. I tell her I went to the park and name a few things I enjoyed. She asks why I didn't tell her, and I tell the truth, that if I did, she would have sent Ryan and Liam with me. She doesn't even deny it, in fact, she basically says "yeah, I probably would" (I forget exactly what she said). She calls me rude and inconsiderate about my brothers and how I should have thought about how they might want to go. Yeah, I did, but that's what the tickets that have been bought are for!
She tells my dad, and he also scolds me. He says that since the park was so far away (not really, its just not an everyday trip length) I should have said something in case something happened. I've been attending this park yearly since I was a toddler, and nothing has ever happened. I had a trusted adult with me. If it were the other nearby park, then yeah there would be an issue. Everybody's heard the horror stories from there. But this one was perfectly safe with a group of people.
My brothers didn't have any issue with it. In fact, Ryan asked me about the new roller-coaster they put in, so he'd know if it was worth waiting when he went.
TL;DR: I went to the park with my friend. My parents want me to have taken my brothers. My brothers don't care. AITA?
What are these acronyms?

I have read your recent post on reynold eckart forgivenss and you have written that the eckart are selfish, as in they don't want Penelope to have friends. Why do u think that? Just curious.
And how do you thibk that sentiment would have applied to og Penelope. Would they be selfish in thier love with her.
Do you think they might have ruined any potential friendships she could have had.
I have this headcanon that og Penelope might have met this upper middle class girl while shopping and found out they have similar tastes in fashion and the like. The girl would have tried to introduce penny to her other friends who are upper middle class too but the eckarts stopped her from going and forced het to cut of this friendship as she wasn't worthy of them since she was middle class and all.
But this is just a headcanon.
But why do the eckarts not only her to go freely outside. Are they afraid of losing her. Or do they not want her to make friends or run away.
because the Eckarts employed a lady's maid for her but not a lady's companion. She doesn't have a chaperone either. And no personal guard. Which suggests to me that the Eckarts always kept her on a tight leash and rarely let her leave the duchy which would make a chaperone or personal guard obsolete. Chaperones were usually not required in situations where an unmarried woman's father was able to accompany his daughter. And we know Duke Eckart is often busy.
That nobody wanted to work for her is a bullshit excuse. The war had just ended and people who are desperate for money don't get to have a choice.
"Women took positions as companions if they had no other means of support, as until the late 19th century there were very few other ways in which an upper- or upper-middle-class woman could earn a living which did not result in a complete loss of her class status."
There are lesbians, there are asexual women, women who abstain from marriage or women who cannot find a man because the war killed enough people that finding a good marriage partner in your own social class was hard. Daughters lost their fathers and brothers, the only breadwinner of the family. Family businesses had to close because the people couldn't afford to buy certain luxury products anymore or the supply chain collapsed. Particularly because Penelope had no friends and was always "cooped up in her room" (Reynolds own words) it is curious that Duke Eckart never thought about bringing in a lady's companion for her. When no commoner maid besides Emily was willing to attend to her, he could have offered to employ one of Penelope's friends from the streets and train her as a maid. That is to say if she had one.
I think she was never given a chance to have a friendship for the reason that she was either sick, injured or under house arrest. There was nothing to ruin. Penelope might have sabotaged her own chances at a friendship due to paranoia that was caused by the constant bullying. Solitary confinement also has negative effects that encompass paranoia, anger, anxiety, depression etc. The page on effects of long-term solitary confinement states that "inmates are often startled easily, and avoid crowds and public places. They seek out confined small spaces because the public areas overwhelm their sensory stimulation". I can see Penelope just hiding behind a pillar and staring at the wall at social events and then scowling and going into a defensive position when someone wants to approach her. If she somehow still managed to make a friendly acquaintance, the Eckart brothers would sabotage that relationship. Reynold indirectly and Derrick directly. The Duke would be happy that Penelope made a friends tho he might be a bit wary.
They didn't think that she would run away or want to leave. That thought never crossed their mind until Penelope mentioned it. Just remember their surprised faces when she expressed her desire to leave. They are kind of possessive of her. I don't know. I don't understand them either.
#notanon#answered asks#death is the only ending for a villainess#anti eckarts#that she didn't have a chaperone might also have something to do with the lack of research that the author did#vadd

Summer kiss, summer dress and fireflies for Andy and Vivienne. 😍
I'm combining this with another prompt from @aloraundomiel, And also asking for “tracing your fingers down your partner’s chest” for Andy and Viv.
And it's a crossover, because...I could. Points to whoever notices first.
They'd really taken a chance, coming up here for the job.
It wasn't that Andy couldn't do the work - mathematics was easy, and the coaching was something he could do in his sleep. But he didn't come from money, not like these boys did, and neither did she, summers on the Cape and skiing trips to the Berkshires and suits from shops on Beacon Hill. And they both knew that people like that could smell when you didn't belong - try to cut you out, keep you on the margins.
"And this must be your wife," Doctor Nolan had said, shaking hands with Vivian as they stood in the circle drive in front of the main building, the lawn brown with summer. He had a pocket square in his suit, a bowtie. She liked Andy in a bowtie - it gave him a bit of academic panache that a necktie lacked. "A pleasure to welcome you to Welton, Mrs. Haldane. I'm sure your husband will fit in very well here. You've seen the house, I hope?"
Vivian nodded - they'd passed it on the way up the drive. A caretaker's cottage, or something like it, with flowers she'd have to slave over in the front beds and many carpets to clean. But a house, not an apartment, or a converted dormitory with nothing but a hot plate and thundering teenagers down the hall at all hours. All furnished, not really to her taste or his, but when they moved a few things there would be space for his record player, her pictures, and more chairs in the front room for meetings with the team. Andy had said that Nolan liked that idea, as he'd tried to talk a little more about his methods for coaching.
Now that she'd met him, she could well imagine how the headmaster's conversation about her had gone, the one Andy had related, word for word, when he'd returned from his second interview and the job offer. It gets a bit monastic up here, at times - all those boys. They need the civilizing influence of a woman or two to keep them on the straight and narrow. Andy couldn't help smiling as he repeated Nolan's concerned question - Is she a sensible type, your wife?
She was a nurse, Andy had reported, and Nolan had apparently found that appropriate. She wouldn't be nursing, of course, but it added to their credentials - happily married, war records, capable of being entrusted with the dear darling sons of the New England elite who sent their boys to schools like this in the hopes that it would turn them into men.
That first year had been hard, but she'd learned. They'd hired him, but she was part of the deal, too - expected to bake for the Sunday evening study group, or make sure there were chocolate chip cookies by the hundredweight for football season, and orange slices for practice. (She wrote to her mother for recipes, and beguiled the starting nine with the pasta sauce Mrs. Genovese, their first neighbor in Lawrence, had taught her how to make.) Expected to chaperone, too, these co-ed dances with the girls from Saint Hilda's, monitoring the bathroom and the punchbowl with the nuns and the stern-faced teachers who reported, in hissing sidebars, how much trouble the girl in blue, or green, or yellow might be if you let them.
Andy was popular with the students - no one minded getting a soft reprimand from Coach about what might happen if one of the nuns saw. And they put up with her because they loved him.
She passed her punchbowl watching duties to the next chaperone and went to get a breath of air outside. It was warm, for September, and the doors from the gymnasium out to the patio were open. She'd hung lights out here, thinking more of the students would enjoy the evening, but they wanted to be where the music was loudest and they could be seen. On the lawn beyond, the last of the fireflies were dancing in the grass.
Someone cleared his throat behind her, and she turned towards the door - Andy looked sharp, in his dark suit, shoes shined just so. He held out a hand, the music behind them a slow, old song, something by Miller or Dorsey. "Well? Be a shame if we didn't get in at least one dance."
She had to smile, and took his hand, his body warm next to hers in the evening air. "That dress looks nice on you," he said, quietly appreciative, the wide rustle of her petticoat moving against his legs as they revolved.
"I bought it with my sister, last time I was visiting," she explained. "For something smart."
"You look," he assured her, pulling their joined hands in close, "Very smart. And it's making me feel about twenty-five again."
Twenty five should have been full of nights like this, of parties and girls in pretty dresses and Miller's Moonlight Serenade. But that wasn't so, for him - at twenty five he'd been in the Marines, young and strong and full of life, getting ready to kill or be killed on some small island in the South Pacific.
(There hadn't been a lot of dances were she'd been, either. Maybe she'd tell the boys about that, one Sunday, when they discussed the situation in Vietnam, and asked Coach for a war story.)
"Come on, Coach, leave some room to be civil!" some smart-alec shouted from the gymnasium doors, grinning with his freinds. Apparently they'd attracted an audience.
Andy turned and gave one of his best stares. "That's enough from you, Mr. Dalton."
Dalton rolled his eyes, but did as he was told, ducking back into the building with his freinds in tow, doubtless to find somewhere else to smoke. "He's all right, Charlie," Vivian said, though she knew Andy would tell her otherwise. Charlie came for math study on Sundays and wrote poetry and was always up to some mischief - he'd left a frog under one of her teacups once and she'd looked down, smiled, and asked the frog if it wanted sugar before putting the cup back down on the saucer and taking the creature out to the back porch. There had been no more frogs thereafter.
Andy snorted. "I heard him tell one of the other boys he thought you were a fox."
That was Charlie, all right. "I'm not sure whether I should be appalled or pleased."
Her husband pulled her closer to whisper in her ear, his hand heavy around her waist as he planted a kiss on her cheek. "I didn't want to tell him he was right."

Think you might be giving the people of Boiling Isles (BI) too much credit. You saw how they rolled over for Boscha, and she didn't even PRETEND to be anything other then jerk. The people of BI are a bunch of sycophants who Belos could abuse and push around without any worry of rebellion. He might not be some charismatic, brilliant villain, because he could just as easily be some blatantly evil psycho who benefits from the people of his world’s lack of basic self respect.
That is also a likely possibility for Belos’ character, but one thing to consider is that - as some others have commented on - there’s already a number of people throughout the BIs who have displayed the willingness to subvert Belos’ rule by not reporting Eda to the Emperor’s Coven and even letting her enroll her student to a major school, including the head of his own personal handpicked Coven.
And sure, the masses of the BIs do seem to tend to go with the flow a lot - whether it be with following around a jerk like Boscha or immediately turning King into a media sensation and then quickly forgetting him once he was out of the spotlight - but just as much that might make them easy for Belos to sway to his side for a while, it also might make them easy for others to be swayed against him.
After all, a lot of the time, Eda’s able to go around and sell her wares without too much trouble outside of the occasional snitch and openly broadcasting to the world that she’s there. And despite the high bounty on her head and her criminal status, Morton covers for her potions, the Fun Police offered to have her scam for them instead of turning her in, and Bump even allowed her to chaperone Grom with all the other students there.
Add in stuff like how Tiny Nose and the Eyeball guy from the Conformatorium are clearly still able to walk around and even achieve celebrity status in the former’s case without hassle despite being locked up for not fitting in, and it starts to paint the populace of the BIs as a group of people who largely don’t seem to really listen to Belos’ as much or as easily as one might assume.
With all of that in mind, you’d either need a much larger and more brutal enforcement squad to truly get people to listen to you for sure, and or be one heck of a persuasive speaker to really get inside their heads.
For me, I like to lean towards Belos being a charismatic kind of antagonist as this show feels to me less like it’s building up towards a blatant black and white “good vs evil” conflict, and more towards a complex and nuanced conflict between ideologies.
Namely, between individualism and conformity.
For an example, too much of the former can lead to a complete lack of cohesion and agreement in a society to where it just implodes in on itself, whereas too much of the latter can lead to a lack of innovation and thus cause a society to remain stagnant and incapable of adjusting to even the slightest deviation.
We can already see the signs of such a clash of ideologies getting ready to boil over in Lilith and Eda’s fights, and something tells me that it’ll expand far beyond just these two sisters.
After all, that is why I’ve brought up the idea of the Bad Girl Coven becoming a real thing in opposition and parallel to the Emperor’s Coven - aka a full on Boiling Islands Civil War - before...

Famous Singer Kelly/Normal Dad Marshall AU
Everything is the same except instead of being a huge famous rapper Marshall is a close friend of Dre's who makes beats and helps produce other artists albums.
They meet when Whitney begs her dad to let her go to one of Kelly's concerts.
Marshall is of course still an over protective dad as in every AU so after taking a few peeks at footage from previous concerts and hearing first hand off Dre about how hard Kelly and his band can go Marshall is reasonably nervous at the thought of his 17 year old going by herself or god forbid with some of her ALSO underage friends.
Thus he nominates himself as chaperone. Something Whitney is at first a little annoyed with but after her dad reveals that to make up for his boring encroaching dad presence he not only paid for all of their tickets, but got them VIP passes and bought a meet and greet with their idol she's considerably less upset.
Grateful even.
The concert itself goes off without much of a hitch. The music is loud and while some of the rapping and beats do catch Marshall's interest the thing that distracts him most is just how expressive and passionate the lead singer is. Machine Gun Kelly runs and dances and jumps across the stage like he was born to be there. He plays instruments and sings to his fans like everyone of them is the only one in the room.
All in all it's one of the few concerts Marshall's taken his daughter too where he feels like he's got his money's worth.
Whitney undoubtedly feels the same if the way she's screaming and jumping is anything to go by.
Kelly actually even comes over their way a few times, leaning so far over the stage to sing directly in the girls and even his own face that Marshall can't help but instinctively reach out to steady the blonde when his body tips just that much further over one time. Kelly's own hand shooting out to curl around the back of his neck during the fumble in a move so smooth Marshall almost feels fooled himself.
The shoulder and ribs beneath his palms feel hot, but not as much as his face when Kelly doesn't falter in his singing. Their eyes locked and close as the drums rattle on and the blonde's voice puffs out warm against the older male's face.
"I can't hide, How I feel about you, Inside, I'd give everything up, Tonight, If I could just have you be mine, Be mine,"
Marshall feels utterly transfixed by the other man's gaze and voice. His breath hitching at just how close the rapper tips, their lips almost brushing before that tempting mouth curls up into a sharp smile and Kelly is flinging himself back away with such precision and ease it leaves Marshall stumbling back a step.
Even with Whitney screaming and freaking out in his ear he can't help but still feel struck.
Despite pulling away and moving back out to the center of the stage Kelly's eyes are still locked in his direction. Cementing that flush that's spread across Marshall's cheeks until the set is over and he can excuse himself to go wash his face in the bathroom.
As embarassed as he feels the brunette has to admit Kelly knows how to get a person's heart racing. In just a few seconds the blonde had somehow managed to make him go from a disinterested father to a weak knee'd mess, and he wasn't even one of the guys fans! It was no wonder the girls screamed so loudly and fawned over every simple glance.
It took more splashes to his face with cold water than Marshall would like to admit too before he could make his way back out to their spot front stage. Every look shot his way and belted out lyric just threatening to send the heat rushing back up through his cheeks.
By the time the actual concert finished and his daughter and her friends were excitedly jumping on him about the meet and greet Marshall's heart felt exhausted. He really was starting to feel too old to be going to these kinds of concerts, let alone staying after just to watch the singer smooze and grow handsy during a few private photo ops but there was no way he was going to send Whitney back there on her own. Not with her age and the ease at which he watched Kelly put the moves on every person he locked eyes with.
So of course Marshall soon found himself awkwardly standing around back stage, his wrists shoved deep into his jacket pockets while he watched the girls fawn and giggle with the band. Their attention focused over on a thankfully young looking drummer, and what sounded like a respectful bass guitarist. Kelly shockingly absent.
Marshall honestly didn't know whether to feel relieved or annoyed by the blonde's absence. Relieved because just the thought of speaking to the guy after that unnecessary serenade made his heart race and annoyed because he did pay a hell of a lot of money specifically so the girls could meet him. But his quiet grumbling to himself didn't last very long before fingers curled over his shoulder and a tall presence pressed itself up behind his back.
He actually saw Kelly's shadow in front of him before the blonde himself, his eyes widening slightly at the sheer height of the artist when he flinched and looked back.
The rapper's larger than life presence on stage translated just as physically off stage as well. With how far up Marshall had to look just to meet twinkling blue eyes Kelly almost felt a full foot taller than him.
"I was just talking about you-" The blonde's talking voice was scratchier than Marshall had imagined it would be. More than likely due to the several long sets.
It still had the father's ears burning in response. His lips drawing across into a tight annoyed line.
"Can't believe you paid extra just to see me, I was going to invite you backstage for free." The sly downright flirtatious smile being shot Marshall's way had his arms flying up to defensively cross over his chest.
It was good to know his assumption about the rapper being a bit of a sleazeball was right.
"Save the asskissing for my girls, kid, I'm only here to supervise. They're the ones who're smitten-" If Dre heard him talking to another artist like this Marshall would probably have a palm clapped aside his head by now, it was horribly rude, even for his usual grumpy persona. But something about the blonde's flickering gaze and lack of personal space had Marshall's stomach knotting up. "This aint my kinda scene."
Surprise colored Kelly's face, but that smile also just grew sharper. His eyes leaving Marshall's to glance over his shoulder at the girls.
Of course that gaze shifting over to his daughter also made that knot tighten. The urge to protect all but compelling him to snatch the blonde by his jaw and prevent any leering. Before he could even raise his hand the rapper's attention snapped back to him. The peek of his white teeth reminding the father of a shark as they grew ever closer, until they were out of sight and warm breath was blowing inside his ear. A large palm sliding up over Marshall's hip inside his jacket.
"How about me and you get out of here then Daddy? Promise the only ass I was thinking about kissing tonight was the one in those jeans you're wearing-" Just as quick as Marshall's fist had swung out the taller male had caught it. The man's free hand wrapping around his bony wrist while the hand on his hip slid back and down to squeeze his ass. "Just, think about it. Okay?"
And in the blink of an eye the blonde's hands were gone and his long lanky form was brushing past. His tone completely different from the low seductive one that had been purring into Marshall's ear only seconds before. "Yooo, we totally killed that set guys-"
Of course girly screaming followed, and the way the pitch rose and the rapid babbling tripled Marshall should probably turn around. But the father still felt frozen in place. His face burning so hot steam might as well start billowing out of his ears. The thick folded up piece of paper stuffed into his back pocket felt electric.
Marshall didn't need to pull it out and unfold it to know a number and probably some pervy message was bound to be scrawled inside.

Vmin and loneliness
This post is inspired by another recent post written by @btsandvmin. Though, her style is quite different from mine, I learn a lot while reading her blog.
So in this particular post, she writes about the loneliness both Vmin face and the question is why can't they spend time together despite them wanting to do so. I might have an explanation to that and will judge it based on my own vmin biased perspective.
Now, as we all know, Bts is a very busy group with rarely any time for themselves talk more to spend with others. When asked about their relationship status, Namjoon was quoted as saying "We are too busy to date"
Their schedule is often packed with different activities which could take basically almost twenty four hours everyday from their time not to mention the presence of cameras and staffs everywhere constantly filming the boys. Even the random things they do such as eating are constantly recorded. They are always busy filming their documentary, Burn the stage, Burn the soul, Bts run, Bts bon voyage, summer package, winter package (I'm not sure I have it all listed here or if they are all correct)
Added to this, they are required to make more songs, constantly practice their dance routines, go on live tours, photo shoots, interviews which again are all filmed even with hidden cameras. Now, these people filming them are not all Big hit staffs and if there's really something going on between Jimin and taehyung, they definitely wouldn't want their more intimate moments to be caught on cameras so they have to withdraw from each other. Before now, when all these shows hadn't started, these two didn't complain of ever being lonely because they where always together, practically attached to the hip.
According to Jimin, they used to often take long walks late at night and spend a lot of time together just the two of them but if you notice, he often speaks in past tense meaning it's something they used to do but not anymore because things have changed. They are no longer how they used to be with each other. Every single movement of theirs is scrutinized. I'm sure that back then when they weren't so popular, they would have easily walked the streets and no one would have noticed them but now, see a Bts member walking down the streets and there's an instant frenzy. There are several cases where this has happened. There are eyes and cameras everywhere. This loneliness thing started getting more pronounced especially by Jimin particularly from 2017 till now. It was particularly severe on Jimin's part in 2018 about that time he wrote promise (but I'm not going to talk about that now)
Most recently, he talked about feeling lonely to Jungkook on an episode of Bts burn the stage documentaries. He disclosed that he had even gotten drunk over the fact that the members weren't as close as before but doesn't remember much of what he had said. This is clear evidence of how lacking of time and privacy the boys are.
I think Bts started filming their shows from 2015. From this particular year, they started filming their first summer package before adding Bts run and bon voyage which is basically them travelling to other countries for sight seeing and relaxation ( Though, they are still being filmed). It wasn't that serious because it was only for a short period of time and at regular intervals but the documentary series detailing their everyday lives which began to film from 2017 was the big deal and it definitely ensured that the boys had no privacy. Almost twenty four hours, there are cameras everywhere. You can clearly see this when Jimin was taken by Taehyung away from the cameras to a more private place where they could talk. It was also around this time that they seemed to be apart from each other more often and started complaining about wanting to be with each other but of course, they never do.
So imagine being in a room with someone you like but unable to be with them the way you want, it's heart wrenching and it causes severe loneliness because even though you see them twenty four hours everyday, the fact that you are unable to be together makes you feel lonely and that's what i think is going on between Vmin.
But I think Big hit staffs may know what's going on because some times, they let them be together even when they aren't supposed to. Bon voyage Malta was a very good example. Taehyung was unfortunately separated from the rest of the group but when he finally reunited with them, Jimin was so happy and excited. They where stuck with each other from then on. The staff even let them go on dates twice without anyone chaperoning along because they knew they needed it and despite the cameras, they where constantly holding hands like boyfriends and being in each other's space.
However, to prove how important Jimin is to Taehyung, he was the one the staff went to inform about Taehyung crying because of his grandfather who recently died but then afterwards, see how Jimin comforted him. Totally different from the way Hoseok did and by the way, it looked too intimate. As if they knew they needed the privacy, Jimin and Taehyung where left alone. The other members must have also been told about Taehyung breaking down in tears by that time but no one else came as if they didn't want to interrupt their moment. It was like they just let Jimin do his thing.
To buttress further, Big hit even knew the boys needed the rest and privacy from all the cameras and the numerous hectic schedules which was why they recently gave them leave to go on a vacation and do whatever they want but this was unfortunately cut short because of some paranoid Bts antis and fake fans spreading all kinds of nasty rumors.
So finally, Jimin and Taehyung might be together all the time but still miss each other because technically, they aren't 'really together' due to the fact that they simply don't have enough time or privacy. I'm sure hanging out the way they really want to will be difficult to do which might explain why they're never seen in public together or why they still text each other late at night but then there are still times when I'm sure they don't care about what anyone says and just goes for it. Those times that definitely makes people raise suspicious eye brows.
Anyway, thanks for reading everyone but please remember this is based on my own biased perspective. so with that, have a great day.

Nancy: God, don't, the girls he invited would love that to happen to me Nancy: especially cos no, it's not Nancy: 🙄 Rio: Honestly, you had one job Rio: such an easy cop-out Nancy: He says no costume could make him look as hot as his labels, that's a paraphrase, I wasn't listening well enough to deliver a direct quote, sadly Rio: 🤢 Rio: Please don't try any harder to remember that was upsetting enough Rio: definitely find something better to do Nancy: Right? I literally get gayer every time he opens his mouth Rio: 😂 Rio: Not a choice but if it was, I get it Nancy: God was like, with him as a brother you've suffered enough Rio: Though it would be funny if you can find a man more unbearable Rio: he'd be fuming Nancy: My dad too Rio: Oh, the male posturing Rio: let me down, if no one else Rio: such a laugh Nancy: Maybe I should have turned this plan on its head and come to you to celebrate Nancy: Get away from it all Nancy: his friends are like clones and nobody thinks that's bizarre Nancy: like the girls are just 😍💘💋 Rio: Match their boys to their bags Rio: weird Rio: we should still do something special for you though Rio: it's your birthday as well, after-all Nancy: Yeah but I'm the weird one, okay then Nancy: It is but I don't feel as if I need to be all 🎉🎂👑 Nancy: He's got that covered Rio: Don't worry, I know your style Rio: and that it ain't his Nancy: He doesn't have any Rio: 🔥 Rio: ice that on the cake, babe Nancy: If ANYTHING was allowed to be homemade I would Rio: Can't imagine your Ma in a pinny, like Nancy: If my dad asked, then maybe Nancy: They are so gross but that's a convo to have in therapy one day Rio: Yeah, that is NOT my present to you Rio: lemme get qualified Nancy: What ARE you getting me though? Nancy: No Rio: That's so crap Nancy: I'd rather have no friends than fake ones cos there's nobody real around Rio: I feel that too Rio: but its hard having to spend, what, 7 hours a day alone and surrounded by dickheads Rio: hope you're making your weekends worth it, yeah Nancy: I'd love it if they left me alone Nancy: That's what weekends are for, definitely Rio: Enough about those boring bitches anyway Rio: my mum wants to talk to yours, the usual, but they're cool with it so Rio: 👍 Nancy: I'll let her know when she comes in Rio: 🤞 she doesn't talk her ear off so hard she won't let me come like hell no, this fucking family Nancy: I can't even let that be a possibility Nancy: Do you want me to have a birthday breakdown, mum? Nancy: As far as attention goes, you wouldn't get more unless you lock Buster in his room or something beforehand Rio: 😂 I know you're not identical but I don't think your ma would appreciate the insinuation that me and him are in any way twinning Nancy: You could wear a costume Nancy: He'd hate that as much as he'd hate sharing the spotlight even a little Rio: No shade but 0 lack of desire to white face Rio: but that's tempting, have I even got time to think of a decent costume though Rio: hmm Nancy: I can't lie, I'd be tempted if I was staying Rio: We so should Rio: maybe we'll need one for wherever we're going once you've made your joint wish or whatever the fuck Nancy: I'm with you on everything except I'm never blowing out candles with him for as long as I live Rio: Jokes, you definitely have enough 💸 for separate wishes Nancy: 🙏 Rio: This will be fun Rio: I'll send you details of anything that sounds good then Nancy: I'll send you any costume ideas I have, obvously Nancy: Thanks Ri Nancy: You seriously are the best Rio: Definitely Rio: and don't mention it, I had nothing good on anyway, this'll be way more fun than whatever lame party I was gonna be at Nancy: I feel like I definitely just complained about my life this entire convo Nancy: Which needs to be mentioned since I didn't even ask how you are or anything Nancy: Like, yeah that's gay culture but you know Rio: Nah, it's your bday, soon Rio: fully in support of that diva ish remember 👑 Rio: and same old same old here Rio: all good Nancy: Yeah?
