forever thinking about how mirror kirby in super star looks just like marx and how marx’s scales look like mirror shards and how he’s clearly meant to resemble kirby despite not being the same species and how kirby in the anime (verified by sakurai himself who worked on super star) is literally called the mirror of all the foes he faces.

#hm. roundabout way of assuming dark matter connections with marx #echoed voice #when i was a kid i headcanoned that kirby got the mirror ability from marx #and that his hats and such actually reflect some aspect of his friends bc he cares about them #and the mirror one ofc stood for marx. but when it was changed to its new look in the3ds games #that reflected how kirby wasnt friends with marx anymore #i actually had that hc bc of poppy and knuckle joe btw lol #i looked the other way when i saw the bomb kirby redesign.#(old bomb kirby is way better bc its poppy :( )#idk if id have the same hc now considering how different the designs are #plus you can really only make a case for dedede and kirby's hammers being the same #and him not matching with dedede mk and bandana dee doesnt feel right #or maybe kirby just loves link more than mk. poor fucking guy
