#Marvel#Marvel comics#Marvel 616#Man-Thing vol. 1#Man-Thing 1974#Man-Thing#Ted Sallis#would I prefer it if my beloved Man-Thing was a perfect peaceable angel all the time?#….well I wouldn’t complain at least#But I will admit that this volatility in Man-Thing’s character — that he’ll attack anything that fears#and thus sometimes he’ll target good people — does make for a more interesting character#I am also vaguely fascinated by the character choices here#and how Sybil’s decision beings about character development for the both of them#I mainly just like how it was very much Sybil’s choice that she decided for herself that Brian’s a guy worth saving#and how that jump starts a realization on the value of human — and of equal importance their own — lives#that neither of them are revenants but are living people capable and worthy of loving and being loved#am….I going to deep?
