Previews of all 8 stories from the official Neko Atsume storybook, “Ohanashi Neko Atsume” (found here)
#neko atsume#dug these up from a defunct link on the official neko atsume twitter#so a few of these previews haven’t really been available online for a while#anyway I ran these previews through google translate and they are VERY adorable :) 💕💕💕#there is so much lore in this book I want it SO bad ok XD#and something really fun is that if you look at the neko atsume 2 datamine#all of these relationships are reflected in the data!#snowball and smokey are each other’s favorite cats… xerxes ix hates every cat EXCEPT cocoa…#lady meow meow likes fred more than the other cats… gozer likes spud but spud does NOT like gozer XD etc etc#it’s so fun and I LOVE that attention to detail 💕💕 this book is nearly a decade old now I’m so glad#that it’s not COMPLETELY forgotten… now if only there was an English translation 😔#official or fan-made I’m not picky XD#at least there’s a little animatic of the lexy story on youtube :)
