actually insane how the anime cut out tinpin + the ramen quest + completely removing joshua from the nao and sato convo. i think theyre important!!! i think neku was part of why joshua changes but not all of it like what the anime tries to say. i know the secret reports says the same thing but its not like hanekoma knew everything that was happening. ok idk much abt tin pin but it should stay because its FUN anyway ramen quest. important. neku and joshua agree that wow people really dont care about substance but eiji shows that some people do!! that hes willing to go against his boss to give actual genuine reviews!! that authenticity is still valued in shibuya!! when joshua tries to provoke sato and nao and sow distrust between them they prove him wrong!! that they are strangers and yet they still care!! its not nekus fault that shiki cant come back to life. theyre all trying their best. joshuas attempts to push his worldview doesnt even work on the npcs….i think seeing the people of shibuya themselves in person is the reason to change for joshua (and neku)…nekus just the one to FORCE him to change his worldview…anyway. something abt joshuas reapers game being specifically made to make people grow as a person. and how it even works on himself.
